"Say Something" officially premieres on radio
Mariah's forthcoming single "Say Something" featuring Snoop Dogg has received it's official radio premiere. Los Angeles-based station Power 106 has been playing the track for the last week. According to those who are tuning in, the station has dubbed the song a "Power 106 exclusive".
Also, reports suggest that the version being played on air is apparently different from the audio file that was leaked onto the internet several weeks ago. "It is better," said one listener. Another commented, "The beat sounds harder, and the synth track that runs thoughout the song is faded down, and Mariah's voice sounds clearer." Mariah's friend and producer Damion "Damizza" Young serves as the senior director of artist relations and programming for the station.
In related news, "Tonight", a song that was prematurely leaked from Mariah's new album, has also been receiving play on Greek's biggest radio station, Star97 FM. The song has been included in their weekly top 30 chart, entering at number 29. (Mariah Daily)
