Mariah on Funkmaster Flex

Mariah was on Funkmaster Flex's show on Hot 97 and they talked about a lot of stuff. Just a quick rundown of some topics they talked about. J.Lo and Benny Medina. According to Mariah, Benny told her 100% that he is not working with J.Lo. They also mentioned the whole song stealing episode and Mariah hinted it wasn't the first time, although she did not give any specifics.

She mentioned she was going to be on the cover of Essence magazine, and the cover of the FHM's 100 Sexiest Women issue, and they talked about the current Blender magazine. They played "We Belong Together" and a girl called in asking if it was based on an experience Mariah had, but Mariah said it was a combination of things that her and Jermaine Dupri came up with and not one specific experience. They also played the Fat Joe remix of "It's Like That" and "Say Something".

She joked that artists always have beef right when their albums come out so someone needs to set up a catfight before April 12th for her. Mariah mentioned that Pastor Keaton from her church, True Worship in Brooklyn, is featured on the song "Fly Like a Bird" and that her favorite track is "Shake It Off" which she called "tobasco" and "very hot tamales".

Mariah also took a few calls from the fans, and she spoke to Flex about meeting his Jack Russell Terrier named Katie, and said Jack should meet her and mentioned two websites that are dedicated to him. Flex also said that a lot of the current young singers who were just "seat fillers" should go out and buy a ticket to a Mariah concert so they could learn something. He asked her about Ashlee Simpson, but Mariah said she never met her, but that Jessica was nice.
