Aspen scene: Mariah Carey

The singer visits the ski resort for Christmas every year, telling the local Aspen Resort Magazine, "I have a sense of feeling at home there. | Mottola's ex-wife Mariah Carey is an Aspen lover too. Page Six.com reports sales people in a "high-end sporting-goods shop" in Aspen were overheard talking about how nice actress Renee Zellweger was, compared to headache diva Carey. Page Six reported that the sales staff complained about Carey's entourage, and her demands the store be shut down for her.
According to Page Six unnamed sources, "an older man purchasing an orange ski jacket unexpectedly chimed in with, 'Yeah...that girl will really make your head spin!'" Page Six reports that one staffer recognized the man as Tommy Mottola. (Monsters and Critics - Mariah Connection)
