Mariah and Patti LaBelle to record a Christmas song
In an audio message left on her official site on July 2nd, Patti LaBelle talks about her future recording plans, which include working on a Christmas album with Mariah Carey: "I had just signed with Def Jam after LA Reid dropped me. He thought about it. He said, 'I think I need to pick you back up.' So I gave him a few months to think about it after he asked me then I finally said yes.
