Mariah Carey excited about The X Factor
Mariah Carey turned on the Christmas lights at the Westfield Shopping Centre ahead of her second appearance on The X Factor. As well as the switch-on Mariah signed copies of her new album "Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel" and posed for pictures with fans who had grabbed a bottle of her new fragrance "Forever".
Mariah appeared on the X Factor last year and mentored the finalists. This year it is rumoured she has already recorded her performance to be screened on Sunday night. When asked if she knew any of this years' famous contestants she said she had been too busy to catch up but was sure they were all very talented.
She added that fans will be pleased with the new record, offering soft ballads, power ballads and something to dance to. (ITN)
