I don't know if it's just me but I'm beginning to find it a bit corny for her to speak to the audience during the "yeah yeah yeah yeah" part. Given her current vocal state, she can definitely give everyone a shock by belting out that part. She's done just that with her Hero performance in Singapore. (Wednesday 29 October 2014; 0:09)

Don't you remember how, just one year ago, she blew us away with this performance? Having watched her recent performances in Tokyo, I couldn't help but wonder if she's been crying a lot lately. Elena (45,046) by Ian James from Sabah, Malaysia Oh yes. How could I forget that interview? Thanks a lot for sharing it. It reminded me of how much I loved Mariah's personality back then. I agree with you that she showcased her best personality during the Rainbow and CB eras. Can you imagine how cool it would have been if "that Mariah" were the one who sat at the American Idol's judges' table? I do like her diva-ish attitude when it is used to great effect though. Take for example the TEOM and E=MC2 eras. It was during these times that she was always responsive to any interviewer but, when she deemed a certain question inappropriate, her grand-diva persona shone through and she would make the interviewer feel stupid by shrugging off the question. For some bizarre reason, she started developing an icy and distant attitude in 2009. I hope I am wrong in feeling that Nick Cannon was partially responsible for this. (Monday 23 June 2014; 7:34)

So what if he wants to go down as one of the greatest producers of all times? Mariah's insecurities (44,409) by Ian James from Sabah, Malaysia Marissa, I totally can relate to your frustration. It does seem that Mariah couldn't care less about performing live anymore. But to be fair, she might just be trying to put up a good show. I do think she's aware of how people criticize her poor singing performance these days. And we have long known the fact that Mariah's always full of doubts and insecurities. Speaking of which, I notice that, in most of her recent interviews, she always began her sentence with "I don't want people to think that..." or "I don't like it when people are like... ". As far as I can remember, she rarely did that 10-13 years ago. I remembered watching her interviews during the Butterfly/Rainbow eras and being mesmerized by how eloquent and confident she was. My theory is that her singing is probably the main thing she's insecure about these days. I'm not sure if someday she'll be brave enough to tell us what she genuinely feels about her voice. So far, all she talks about are racism, financial hardship, negative self-image etc. when explaining about her insecurities. I'm not trying to deny that she's deeply affected by these issues. But there came a point when I thought she brought them up just to conceal the fact that she's not happy with her current vocal condition. Well, I might be wrong though. (Monday 2 June 2014; 6:48)

Mariah's fans are amazing (44,184) by Ian James from Sabah, Malaysia Wow. I love the fact that there are people who really love MIAM and there are those who really hate it. What's interesting is these two groups of people still call themselves fans. It goes without saying that her fans still listen to her music no matter what. I've heard a lot of artists whose drastic decisions in music have caused them to lose half of their fans. In Mariah's case, that never happened. (Wednesday 28 May 2014; 3:39)

Lol (36,521) by Ian James from Sabah, Malaysia Desiree made a huge mistake when she posted her top 12 female singers. Clearly, her main intention was to evoke emotional responses from other people. As it turned out, everyone started to wonder why she was even here. She hated having her sanity put into question so she made up a lame excuse. How did she hit the submit button?
