(68,227) by Kajal from UK- Birmingham Hi guys hope you are all well. I very rarely message on here but visit to read the news and lambs' messages. I love Mariah so much like you all but lately... well last few months to the past year (well since Stella and co took over) I feel saddened when I see Mariah's image drop so dramatically to the point where I feel so embarrassed to even look at the pictures of her anywhere. I mean what has happened? Although she used to wear short dresses etc back in the day, there still used to be an air of grace and sexiness and her make-up was so toned downed and subtle and I just adore those 1997-2001 looks. I know we are in 2016 but since the emergence of Stella and co and looking at the way she behaves and dresses a la mutton dressed as lamb, I'm thinking that Stella's image is rubbing off on Mariah. Any thoughts my lovelies? I'm just so sad and I hate all these jump suit pieces. I want Butterfly tour looks. I know I'm forever stuck in the Butterfly era Mariah looked the best in my opinion. Her tribute to Pati Lebelle [sic] and her look there is how I want Mariah to go back to looking like. The hair colour is beautiful than this trashy blonde nonsense and I loved those deep curl moments. So natural. Oh I could go on but I am a sad lamb. Sorry. (Friday 11 November 2016; 10:19)

(64,662) by Kajal from UK- Birmingham Hello guys. I am sorry if this post might offend anyone but I have been meaning to mention this for a while now. Well until I started noticing what hideous looking shoes Mariah puts on her tootsies. I used to adore what she used to wear shoe wise (stiletto wise sorry). Really demure, elegant shoes that the Kardashians are busting out today. But what monstrosity is she wearing now? Those cloggy stumpy oversized unflattering pieces that look awful and don't complement her legs or overall ensembles at all. Oh dear what is going on? I mean does she even look back to the 97-99 era and especially when she sees videos like "I still believe" etc (if she does) and say to herself look how nice my choice of ensembles and stilettos were. I mean her hair was beautiful especially the colour. Her style was on point and her stilettos were to die for too. What has happened? I do know though I don't think Stella is helping her image at all, in fact Stella does not know what Mariah was like in the 90s and the sensation she was post Tommy split. Oh sorry if I digressed in parts but I feel so sad when I see Mariah nowadays. I have to look at My All remix and Thank God remix and "I still believe" videos and all those gems of that era to feel the connection again. It's about kids giving funny answers to exam questions and one asks what is the highest frequency noise that a human can register and a kid answers Mariah Carey. Made my day. I watched the Essence performance especially [...] and then I saw VOL performance from back in the day which blew me away and then more videos in the 90s era of Mariah and [...]. I know I do talk about this era and her look during this time too much but man was she just so effortlessly beautiful and she [...] in a way which made you get goosebumps. But anyway to cut a long story short Mariah in that era was very simple yet elegant and toned down from make-up to hair to ensembles and she did not bother so much with how she looked during a performance or faffed around in stupid heels or wear over the top gowns and I think now she is more worried about the look which takes away the energy she could use to just chill and sing from the heart (see past performances to see what I mean). She was more into her faith and having real friends that were humble and it was just really beautiful. I mean what happened to Rae Rae and Jasmine's [...]. They all just disappeared. And now we have Stella a complete opposite to what we know Mariah is all about. Oh and it was refreshing to see JD and [...]. Praying they create new 90s magic for next album. Re: TMZ (63,899) (63,900) by Kajal from UK- Birmingham Hellelujah. Extending this message as you guys have hit the nail on the head. I have been thinking this for months. Mariah is a Christian which not may people know and I do feel she is fluttering away from her spirituality and what kept her tamed and grounded and respectful because of her faith. A lot of her songs she has written and sang are a result of her deep rooted Christian faith and now the way she is conducting herself and musically it shows she is not reflecting her inner spiritual Christian self. I do not want to offend anyone and this is my opinion and I do hope Mariah reads this forum as I really want her to go back to her roots so badly. I really dont want people to know her for her crazy clothes and airy fairy Mariah and her legacy will be tarnished as a result if she continues. I think we all need to do something positive to let her know Mariah this is not cool. Most definitely that Stella woman is a disaster to Mariah's image. Just pure trashy. Look at Mariah in 1997-2000 she was so demure, graceful and elegant and super sexy yet tamed. And now we are going down this trashy looking route and Mariah still looks so young and can pull off Butterfly era look. Oh how I wish she would change her hair colour to brunette honey days. Mariah's passion (63,142) by Kajal from UK- Birmingham Hi guys. I don't normally post that often but I check-in everyday to see what lambs are messaging and read the latest news. Someone mentioned Mariah's passion is no longer there and I totally agree in a musical sense. I grew up listening to Mariah (I am 33 now) and still today I am in awe of the Butterfly album, Rainbow and Daydream as well as her earlier albums but for me her voice, her tones to her melodies and song-writing skills were out of this world in these albums. Just yesterday whilst cooking I put on a Mariah playlist from YouTube playing songs from that era. And many a times whilst listening to "I still believe", "Always be my baby", "Close my eyes" and all those gems I stopped for a second and asked how someone can go from singing and writing like this to what she has given us in the last two albums. I mean the songs have no passion, no "Whenever you call", "Beautiful ones", "Petals", "Can't take that away" passion. No "Open arms", "My all", "One sweet day" passion. No "I am free", "Outside" and "Over the rainbow" tribute vocals' passion. It really makes me cry that this lady this super star used to write impeccably and touching heart-strings all over the world. I mean look at the melodies with Walter and masterpieces they created. That also brings me to the point that Mariah is a Christian and I feel that whatever issues she had with Walter and all those people who were paramount to her success pre 1999, she needs to let go and forgive them (as a Christian) because for me and hopefully others too, to see Mariah and Walter or even Boys II Men working together and going vack to her roots would be out of this world. I never thought I would write so much but this lady does not need over production like this latest album. Even just a piano, guitar and a harp will make Mariah go back to the top of the charts again. Even her look can be toned down but I'll save that for another post. I absolutely love this woman so I am not putting her down and hope those who see my sentiments will agree. I mean I love love love this hair colour as it takes years off her than that blonde and Mariah really has not aged at all and if she even went back to her brunette look with curls she would still look like she was from the "Always be my baby" and "Honey" days. . Please Mariah we need this look more and dont do blonde please. I would love to see you looking like you did in the "My all" remix look because you looked smoking [...] and the brilliant thing about it is that you can look like that. We salute you Mariah and what people don't realise is that she was a trend-setter and what everybody is busting out now Mariah did it twenty years ago. Please see her back in the days before any criticisms for example leather trousers to crop tops to gosh skinny jeans to form fitting dresses and flawless make-up and hair and yet she never brags about that. True lambs or even those that look at Mariah for inspiration know that she is is a Christian and want all of us to get on and love and forgive each other so lets all be nice. Whilst we all have opinions lets be sensible how we articulate them on this board. On a brighter note Mariah is looking like her Gliiter days and her weight loss is amazing. As per my previous post I want to see her Daydream curls and colour and as that member put it blonde does age you as you get older and Mariah as she is not ageing at all will look like she is 25 again. Oh I am so happy her tour is going so well. I saw her in Birmingham last week and I was five rows away from the front and she is so beautiful and humble and I am honoured to follow an artist as her calibre cannot be matched. Thanks guys. Mariah in Birmingham (60,691) by Kajal from UK- Birmingham So happy this morning I saw Mariah yesterday in Birmingham and she was awesome. I sat 5 rows away and she looked and sounded amazing. I am so honoured to see her perform she is just breath-taking. I found her more relaxed in this concert - no gimmicks or over the top ensembles jut a few dance moves but she kept real to her voice and she was so wonderful. I do hope one day she will go back to her honey brown hair and curls because she isn't ageing at all and I know she will look like her butterfly days. I think her next album needs to go back to her roots and work with people like Walter or those who compose melodies to showcase her voice as she still has it - maybe John Legend. It's not about taking a new direction but sticking to a formula that works because she can get more hits. She is not like the other artists Mariah is unique and nobody can surpass her talent and musicality. But if she just strips down to a piano and soft music instruments to make ballads like I Am Free, When I Saw You etc etc she will bring back the fire we know she still has in her. Plus people will start to see her growing in maturity and all she needs is a stage and a mic and she will be a sell-out. Just my opinion guys but I have followed this site for over ten years and go on it everyday and read all your comments and love you guys. Keep respecting each other as we do and support our lady.
