Geez. Those questions didn't seem like polite queries asked out of curiosity, but more like accusations to me. Way to go and turn things around and play "victim". Victimhood mentality is really in trend nowadays. How trendy. Lols.

Re: On another note (97,659) (97,661) by John from USA
Not anymore, no. Left that title and that ingrate family, since they have no appreciation for my having to give up my burgeoning Hollywood career just to bless them with my presence.

Re: Someone make a list (97,653) (97,654) by John from USA
This is absolutely exasperating to read. The constant accusations about someone hating MC simply because they have a mind of their own and is able to form and express opinions is ridiculous and bordering on idiocy. Who died and made you Official Adjudicator and Sole Certifying Authority on who gets to be a Mariah fan or not? Please. Stop. This. Absolute. Nonsense. Note: Those last five words written as if they were complete sentences to hopefully get the point to hopefully (against all hope probably) sink in.

Watch out for my new album. I will be coming out with my debut album under my pseudonym: "My Truth". My debut album will be entitled: "It's Literally A Lie".

Please support this Lamb through my musical journey in search of the truth! Lols.

Dear Webmaster: How about no more talk about US Defamation law? It's getting tedious and going nowhere. Thanks in advance for your kind consideration of this request.

Re: Someone make a list (97,636) (97,637) by John from USA
I feel MC's team is lurking here and readings these posts, and purposely not doing what we think may help for her (maybe because of pride, thinking "Well if these plebes thought it, these are beneath her to try"). So, maybe we should say things the opposite of what we want or wish for her to do? Example: Mariah: 1. Continue with the bubbly, it's doing wonders for your voice. 2. Don't watch your lifestyle, you can always wear the tightest spanx to keep you looking fit, 3. The lyrical devolution to childish quips totally make for timeless music. Keep it up. 4. Your eyes are barely recognizable, and we don't miss your gorgeous almond eyes. More and more please. 5. Your choice of rappers lately has been great. The "I know you love me, you just don't trust me, you don't understand me... but you love it when I call you Ms. Carey" rap part is totally not cringe-y at all. Keep it up. More of this please. 5. We like that you don't make music with melody anymore. Lols - this fan has a lot of pent up feelings inside, hahahahahaha.

I'm fine with the current look, for the familiarity of it. If you do decide to change it though: a messageboard with subfolders so it's easy to follow topics would be great to have.

What stifles Mariah's future collaborations (97,553) by John from USA
I like the idea of Mariah working with singer/songwriters like Bruno Mars, who still make music that is not only sounds fresh and current but also has a sort of timeless familiarity to it. I've been hoping there is a secret Mariah guesting in upcoming Silk Sonic album, but that might be a longshot.

I also wish for Maxwell to rework the arrangement and lyrics to his "Pretty Wings" song to add the perspective of the woman he was talking to. Of course, Mariah is the one with the pretty wings. They can falsetto and melisma to their hearts in the song, and I could just imaging her whistles tastefully placed as if they were gentle flapping wings sprinkled through the song.

Daley is an R&B singer whose vocal stylings clearly reflect a Mariah influence. His duet with Marsha Ambrosius ("Alone Together") is an R&B jam that Mariah could have sung majestically in her "prime".

What stifles Mariah's future collaborations though is her insistence on working on her own with just her vocal engineer. There's something magical that can occur when artists craft music together in real time and work off of each other's energy and creative faculties. That is probably part of the reason why #Beautiful felt so incomplete and unfinished - potential not fully realized in my opinion. I know Mariah has become increasingly insecure about her "vocal gifts", but I hope she can shake this off, for the sake of making great music once again.

Re: Album rankings (97,487) (97,488) by John from USA
Agree completely. That is why I posted my rankings without any explanation or justification. It is completely a matter of preference. I'm sure there is someone out there who likes "[No] I didn't (featuring cringe-y rapper)" and "Crapfinity", but who am I to question what they like and don't like as a fan. Don't try to "fathom" or "comprehend" ones preference. Great music is in the ears of the listener, lols.

Andrew: Policer of Thoughts and Inventor of English (94,161) by John from USA
One day, Andrew will scold someone as being insensitive for expressing their thoughts during the time of this pandemic. Next day, he'll be picking fights about some random thing as someone's choice of words - also during the time of this pandemic, lols.

Andrew - the Policer of Thoughts and Official Inventor of the English Language - is truly an Enigma. His story will be passed on from generation to generation, many millenias from now.

Re: I never thought (93,359) (93,361) by John from USA
Yes, you're an SJW - seriously the biggest threat to humanity this generation has and will every face. Try to find meaning in your life, other than siphoning off energy from other people by finding something to make you feel important and good about yourself. You find heroism by seeing victims when there aren't. You are a spoiled brat without a real cause. Please find something more meaningful in your life and not infect ours.

Re: I never thought (93,351) (93,354) by John from USA
The SJWs of the world are the biggest bullies of our time. Their power cannot be denied - calling out -isms where there really isn't, canceling everyone that goes in their way. According to them, we live in the worst of times because all the -isms of the world are now at the highest rates ever. These vile creatures are the biggest scourge in the history of humankind - SJWs are people who have "Addiction Outrage" - they want to create problems where there are none - only to feel important and to feel good about themselves. They move from getting outraged by one thing, then another, post about it, and feel like the heroes they unfortunately aren't.

Dear SJW: Please stop being a plague to humanity.

Re: The pandemic (93,291) (93,294) by John from USA
"Your suggestion that empathy is meaningless and that I must somehow go and save victims with my un-medically trained bare hands is morally vacant. You're an idiot lol." - said Andrew, a.k.a. 'Best Human Being Ever'.

Oh. Was that a display of empathy? To virtually all of us here, it was another attempt to bring meaning to your meaningless life by picking fights where should not have been any.

And are you even thinking that was meant to be in the literal sense? And, if you did take it seriously: are you saying only the medically-trained can help?

What an idiot. I truly think that trolling this message board is the only thing that validates your pathetic existence.

Mimi Town Road / voice of the generation (90,322) by John from USA
I hope this collab materializes. This will help reintroduce the patient to young listeners who are no longer used to hearing her voice. She should concentrate on doing features with artists that are still prominent and certified hitmakers of today. She did a similar strategy before TEOM, where small collabs, culminating in I Know What You Want with Busta that reintroduced her to the early to mid 2000s listeners. She was the voice of an entire generation for a while (90s) during which time her voice is literally everywhere and her songs almost automatically become hits just because she sang them.

Prior to the 90s, and for a while that was arguably Madonna and to a lesser extent Janet and Whitney in the 80s and early 90s. In the early 2000s it was Rihanna who can seemingly do no wrong, but even her radio/airplay and hit-making power seems to be waning now. Taylor Swift (and I squirm while typing this) is unfortunately, the voice of this generation. Her new song, You Need to Calm Down, sounds like trash to me, but is a hit just because its her voice and name that's stamped on it.

Knowing Mariah's and her team's penchant for not carrying out great ideas and suggestions from fans in messageboards like this though, this collab will probably not materialize. How many opportunities has Mariah and her team missed out on already?

Re: Webmaster (90,243) / the SJWs are here again (90,244) by John from USA
Andrew's comment was an "analogy" - and one that is valid. There are legitimate concerns regarding transwomen competing in women's sports and blowing the competition (genetic and phenotypic females) out of the water. They may change their outside appearance and take sex hormones to appear more feminine, but it doesn't change physiologic and musculoskeletal advantages obtained from accrual of bone density and muscle mass that transwomen had years of advantage of before they transitioned.

Some women athletes in high school and college have even contested transwomen entering women's sports, because it actually ends up marginalizing genetic and phenotypic females from their own sports.

I once read a feminist even say that this is just another way a man can exert dominance on women, in reference to transwomen joining women's sports and beating the hell out of them in their own game.
