Sales prediction debate, MIAM (44,312) by Christy from USA I don't usually like to wade into the sales prediction debate but these numbers I'm hearing, now 60-65k for the first week, seem extremely low to me. This album, in the US alone was in the top 3 on iTunes for 3 days (at last check, day 4, it dropped to # 4). Not to mention, I've heard numerous stories of lambs purchasing multiple copies. I, personally have bought 3 so far. Something just isn't right here. I have never understood how they come up with these numbers. (Friday 30 May 2014; 15:59)

And you are correct; it was the same thing you heard/saw in the YouTube video where Mariah explained the album title. Second question, not 100% sure why all the symbols were needed but I believe it was meant to convey, as Mariah said in the song, money is just "this, that, the other". In other words, money is nice vacations, expensive foods, you fill in in the blank. (Friday 30 May 2014; 2:52)

No similarities to Purple Crush (43,656) by Christy from USA This suggestion of a similarity between the Purple Crush version of Thirsty and Mariah's is absurd. In fact, it sounds as if the Purple Crush version was copied after Madonna's Vogue. Also, in the PC version, the singer says, "I'm thirsty" where as Mariah says, "You thirsty". Confusion over "Target exclusive", MIAM (43,632) by Christy from USA I am confused over the whole "Target exclusive" thing with Me. I Am Mariah. According to MariahCarey.com it's a "Target exclusive" release. Or is this just the "America the Beautiful" addition? I ask this because MIAM is also for sale at Amazon.com and Best Buy. The wording at MC.com implies the entire CD is a "Target exclusive", not just the America the Beautiful version. (Wednesday 14 May 2014; 22:48)

Ready for some news (42,649) by Christy from USA I don't know what in the world is happening but a week has gone by with no news, word, pics, anything from Mariah. Frozen YouTube view counts (41,859) by Christy from USA Has anyone else noticed a trend on YouTube/Vevo concerning frozen view counts on Mariah's videos? As of now, 11:06 pm et, the view counts have moved by 24 since 9 pm et. (I know because I check almost hourly). I have sent feedback to YouTube, once at 10 pm et and once recently at 11 pm et. Another lamb who frequents YouTube has also already had to send reports to YouTube. They, in turn told him it was a "bug" on Mariah's page and that they were working on it. Sounds suspicious to me. This happened at Christmas with AIWFCIY. Counts were frozen for 24 hours, I complained and it took nearly 2 days for counts to be restored. (Friday 28 February 2014; 5:11)

You're Mine on the radio? (41,239) by Christy from USA I'm curious to know if any other lambs have been hearing You're Mine (Eternal) on the radio in their area (especially big markets like New York, L.A, Atlanta, etc). I've requested it on 2 different stations in my area but only one has played it. If we can get it on the radio in bigger markets, it would get more attention, thus creating more downloads. I introduced the new Mariah song on the radio! (41,157) by Christy from USA So, my local radio station DJ knows that I am a huge Mariah fan and so he let me call in to the station to introduce "You're Mine (Eternal)" ft Trey Songz. He actually said he thought about me when he got the news that they were getting the song in so he asked me on twitter if I would introduce it. New Mariah music (41,133) by Christy from USA Hi all. My name is Christy and I'm new to MC Archives. I have been a Mariah fan since 1990. I am so ready for the new single and album. A little info about me: I adore Mariah and will always support her but am not one of those fans who thinks she can do no wrong. I would definitely like to see her get her 19th #1 song because I believe she can still show up pretty much every single artist out there. Remember when back in the day good music meant a Mariah Carey song? Now almost anything can pass for good music. (I rarely listen to the radio anymore.) I don't know about you guys, but I will be listening to B96 at 8.20 am Eastern time to hear the premiere of You're Mine (Eternal). (Wednesday 12 February 2014; 0:50)
