Kate Upton approves of Mariah Carey replacing her
The adverts helped propel the game's success, with the busty blonde starring as a sultry warrior princess. But now Kate Upton has stepped down as the face of the immensely popular Game Of War: Fire Age, passing the torch to singer Mariah Carey.
TMZ secured video of the 23-year-old actress giving her stamp of approval for the 45-year-old singer while making a lace-y appearance at LAX on Thursday. "I think she's gonna be awesome," Upton gushed regarding her replacement. When asked if she thought the pop icon was too old, the blonde declined to respond. With a 22-year age difference, the two beauties are a generation apart.
But the Game Of War franchise - which follows the "sex sells" advertising motto - shouldn't have to worry. Mariah may have 20+ years on the young model, but she's a veteran, having been the face of AT&T, Pepsi and Jenny Craig. And her age has proved to have had no impact on her image - the songstress still stuns like she did in her 1997 video for Honey. (Mail Online)
