During a game of "Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts" on The Late Late Show With James Corden, John Boyega got the host to spill his guts about a memorable trip to Mariah Carey's house. Boyega asked James Corden if he had ever stolen anything. At first, Corden gave the clever answer, "I mean, my wife's heart." This drew a lot of moaning and groaning from the audience.
James did finally admit to stealing something. He said, This is completely true and I've never told anybody this. I once stole a candle from Mariah Carey's house." The candle apparently had Mariah's name written on it, along with the image of a butterfly.
James had gone to Mariah Carey's house to film a special Christmas Carpool Karaoke, but the diva left him waiting from 4pm to 6:30pm so he decided all he wanted for Christmas was one of her candles. Corden said, "I waited in her living room until 6:30 just on my own and I thought 'Well, I'm going to take this candle for my time.' And I still have it today."
