It's a dog's life... but not for these pampered pooches. Celebrities took to Instagram on Friday to show off their littlest friends on National Puppy Day. Mariah Carey shared a shot of herself rolling on the floor with her beloved Jill E Beans, calling her "my best friend".
Demi Lovato, revealed she relies on her Batman and Cinderella for emotional support when she's on tour. "As a Be Vocal Speak Up partner, I know that living well means different things to each and every one of us," she wrote. "I find so much comfort in having my support system nearby while I'm on tour - from friends who travel with me on the road, family who I get to see in different cities and even my dogs Batman and Cinderella."
Both Demi and Mariah scored free dog walks for life from Wag for their canine companions last year. Katherine Heigl, who founded a dog rescue foundation, shared smiling selfies with three of her rescue babies. "I know it's a bit last minute but... happy national puppy day from me and my besties. Those heavenly days are full of puppy love," she captioned them.
Khloe Kardashian, who lost her beloved black Labrador Gabanna in January, posed with famous model puppy Alaia The Tater Tot. Nicole Kidman meanwhile looked genuinely in love as she hugged an adorable pair of mini Dachsunds. "Puppies feel gooooddddd," she gushed in the caption.
Eva Longoria snuggled up to her Maltese Jinxy and French bulldog Popeye on her bed. "Live, love, woof. Happy National Puppy Day to these two," she beamed. Nina Dobrev also wished a "Happy National Puppy Day to my number one bitch. I mean puppy. Number one puppy. You have my heart babygirl."
She even tagged the collie - Mrs. Maverick - as she has her own Instagram account with 356k followers. Karlie Kloss meanwhile shared a kiss with her pup, asking followers not tell her other dog, Joe.
