Mariah Carey will perform at the American Music Awards on October 9, bringing her signature pop razzle-dazzle to the 2018 stage, as it was announced on Tuesday (September 25). Carey, who first performed at the AMAs in 1991 for a rendition of her dance-pop hit "Someday", will now make her world TV debut of "With You" - the first single from her forthcoming album. The performance will mark the Carey's return to the AMA stage, with her last appearance taking place in 2008.
The singer joins a star-studded performance lineup, with previously-announced artists Benny Blanco, Halsey, Khalid, and Imagine Dragons also set to take the stage. The AMAs will air live on October 9 at 8:00 p.m EST on ABC. The show winners are decided entirely by fans, with voting now open via VoteAMAs.com.
