Mariah Carey fans are excitedly bracing for the legend's brand new album, "Here For It All", which arrives on September 26. And while the LP has a bonafide date in place, Mimi's Lambs may have to wait a while to see the project's songs brought to life live.
Hot on the promotional trail for her 16th studio album, Carey was asked about touring the set. Speaking frankly, she confirmed to 935 KDAY that there are presently no touring plans on the cards. She shared: "I think it's too soon to tour. I just did a tour, and I'm doing another tour. And I think it's time to not tour... for a little bit."
When asked about it being about creating "that balance", Carey quickly replied: "Yes." The superstar's words come in tandem with her taking to social media and sharing that she's "back at it" in the studio.
While a tour may not be in the works just yet, fans can see Carey rock the stage at the MTV VMAs 2025 this Sunday (September 7). As reported, she will be receiving the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard honor at the ceremony, which takes place live from the UBS Arena in New York City.
