Mariah Carey collaborated with Anderson .Paak on her newest album, Here for It All. The pair was previously photographed holding hands and smiling, sparking dating rumors. Carey played coy about a potential romance in September of this year.
Carey told CBS Mornings that .Paak is "brilliant" and a "great artist", adding of the photos, "He just likes to hold my hand. He just grabs my hand, I don't know what he's doing." She went on to say that .Paak was in "the hand-holding club", telling Gayle King, "That's what it is."
It looks like .Paak may no longer be a member of Carey's hand-holding club. The gossip account DeuxMoi posted on Instagram earlier this week that the duo "allegedly split and Carey is currently dating one of her dancers".
Several commenters on DeuxMoi's post about Carey and .Paak's alleged split shared that they weren't even aware the two were rumored to be dating. As one user wrote, "I didn't know they were dating in the first place."
Others pointed out that it was never even confirmed that the two were a couple. This would explain why so many fans were unaware of their alleged relationship. DeuxMoi didn't provide further details about the dancer Carey is allegedly dating, so we'll have to wait and see what happens.
