40 Mariah Carey song titles inside anniversary brand film

A beauty brand founder has revealed that the company's 15th anniversary brand film contains more than 40 hidden Mariah Carey song titles, seamlessly embedded using only natural dialogue and animation.

The unique tribute took over two years to complete from initial concept to final cut, requiring three separate and meticulous re-shoots to ensure the references blended seamlessly into the script, without drawing attention to themselves. The result is a highly polished film that functions perfectly as a normal anniversary video, while simultaneously containing a complex hidden layer that most viewers - including dedicated Mariah Carey fans - do not notice, unless they are explicitly told about the references beforehand.

After researching extensively across global marketing campaigns and music history, creator Syed Imam, a lifelong Mariah Carey fan of over 30 years, says he has been unable to find another branded film that embeds song titles by a single artist in this way. The creative challenge required an immense amount of patience and fine-tuning to strike the right balance between corporate brand milestones and authentic fan homage.

"The challenge wasn't simply hiding the song titles, it was making them feel completely natural so the film still worked, even if nobody realised they were there," Syed says.

The project officially marks the 15th anniversary of Divine Herbal and successfully combines high-end independent branded storytelling with a deeply personal, hidden creative tribute that actively rewards repeat viewing.
