Mariah Carey's photo with "The Last Supper" painting

Mariah Carey just gave the internet an unexpected masterpiece of its own. The Grammy-winning singer recently visited Milan, Italy, where she stopped by to see Leonardo da Vinci's famous painting "The Last Supper". Rather than simply sharing a photo of the historic artwork, Carey decided to get herself into the frame, too.

Carey shared a slightly blurry selfie featuring the superstar posing in front of one of the world's most recognizable paintings on Instagram on Wednesday, October 7. She kept the caption simple, writing, "The Last Supper."

While Carey hasn't revealed exactly what brought her back to Milan this week, the city is already familiar territory for the superstar. Back in February, Carey performed at the opening ceremony of the 2026 Winter Olympics at Milan's San Siro Stadium, where she delivered a medley of the Italian classic "Volare (Nel Blu Dipinto Di Blu)" and her own song "Nothing Is Impossible". She later told Vogue that performing at the international event "genuinely felt like a dream come true".
