Mariah's island studio
Superstar Mariah Carey is working on the first album for her own record company in the stunning Italian island of Capri. The singer returned to the idyllic isle - home to her ailing father Alfred - where she recorded her 1991 album Rainbow in Carlo Quinto Talamona's Capri Studios.
After flying into Naples airport last Sunday. 9 June 2002, Mariah travelled to Capri where she was welcomed with a piazza full of flowers and greeted by a group of fans called The Caprese Friends Of Mariah. The starlet is expected to stay in Capri until next month where she will record for her yet-to-be-named imprint for Island Def Jam records. (WENN)
