Is Millie Bobby Brown in Mariah Carey's "Chick" album?

On January 15, Mariah Carey revealed that she is going to release an album, a couple of which is speculated to be co-written and sung with Millie Bobby Brown. In a podcast with Questlove Supreme, Mariah Carey reveals that she has been "having conversations" with a certain 16-year old that she will not name, who will be involved in her upcoming album. (The album will be another version of "Chick" which she first released back in 1995.)

"I do think Chick needs to have its own thing. And I've actually been having conversations, with someone I'm not going to name, about doing like another version of Chick with some of those songs. And I'm also writing a couple of new songs. I asked if she'll write those with me or at least explore it. Because she's a young 16 year old girl who is very famous, she is perfect for this. She's an actress but she wants to sing as well."

Mariah then says that she hopes to start "working on it this coming month". How likely is it that Millie Bobby Brown is the "16 year old girl" that Mariah Carey is referring to? Millie already ticks all the boxes that Mariah hinted at. She's 16, she's famous, an actress and had previously revealed to fans that she wanted to release an album in the near future.

And the young star can clearly sing. She often posts herself singing on social media, and co-star Louis Partridge (Tewkesbury) had even told fans that she often sang in the trailer during the filming of Netflix's Enola Holmes. Not only that, but Mariah and Millie are definitely no strangers. Millie Bobby Brown appeared on Mariah Carey's Magical Christmas Special and has visited Mariah's house on a number of different occasions where she even met Mariah's two kids.

What else do we know about Mariah Carey's previous album by "Chick"? Mariah released an alternative rock album, titled "Someone's Ugly Daughter" by American band Chick back in 1995. For years, no one had connected Mariah to the album and band, until Mariah finally announced that she was the vocals and producer behind it.

Fun fact: The cover of the original Chick album is a dead roach and a lipstick-written "chick" which Mariah wrote herself. Mariah has stated that she wanted the upcoming album to use the original artwork.
