"Rain" video features Jamie-Lynn Sigler
Mariah Carey's video for her new single, "Through The Rain", guest stars Jamie-Lynn Sigler from HBO's The Sopranos. On her website (jamielynnsigler.com), Sigler wrote, "I am filming the lead character in Mariah Carey's new video! I filmed a little this morning, and now I am going back to meet her. This is way too surreal. And the best part is that I get to wear '60s clothes!" Sigler released her own album, Here To Heaven, last year.
The "Through the Rain" video was shot in New York City's Washington Heights area, on Sunday and Monday (September 29-30) by director Dave Meyers (not Brett Ratner, who was first named to lens the clip). The song is from Carey's label debut on MonarC Music/Island Records, scheduled for release on December 10. (Launch)
