Honey B Fly's efforts
It looks like Honey B Fly, the official Mariah Carey fan club, is trying to enhance its service. During the past months, many fans have been upset and disappointed because they waited months and months without the Honey B Fly kit, or newsletter. In addition, some members of the fan club were quite angry because they thought the fan club website could be better.
I was clearly one of those upset members because I had to wait more than what they promised, which is six to eight weeks. However, now Honey B Fly is trying desperately to improve its service. Proof of this is the new effort to make sure every member receives his or her kit. Now Honey B Fly has created a procedure to make sure that every fan receives his package. If you have registered to Honey B Fly on or before January 1, 2004 and have not received your membership kit, you should send a detail support ticket to the Honey B Fly's support center, which is located at honeybfly.com.
The Honey B Fly package includes a T-shirt, an autographed picture of Mariah, an introductory letter, a membership card, and two glossy newsletters (the newsletters are delivered during the year). There is disappointment for some male fans because of the T-shirt, the limited-edition of this t-shirt is "too girly". However, some male fans don't even care about it. Honey B Fly also has its own website with many features, exclusive items, contests, and more. Many fans still are waiting for what they paid for, but surely the Honey B Fly kit is worth the months waiting. (Mariah Hero)
