Fly like a bird
A Mariah fan recently met Melonie Daniels at an airport and while they were talking, Melonie said she met up with Mariah to work out vocals for a remix to "Fly Like A Bird". She said it will sample a song by Earth Wind & Fire called "Keep Your Head To The Sky" and they will record it within the next few weeks.
Rumours are that Richard "Humpty" Vission en David Harness will remix "Fly Like A Bird". Richard Vission made remixes for Madonna ("American Pie", "Music", etc), Destiny's Child ("Bootylicious") and Nelly Furtado ("Turn Off The Light"). David Harness made remixes for Luther Vandross ("Heaven Can Wait") and John Legend ("Ordinairy People").
And what to think of a remix EP of The Emancipation Of Mimi? There are many unreleased remixes from the Mimi-era, remixes like "Say Somethin'" by Peter Rauhofer and the Pound Boys. Why not make a "new" album of these?
