The Daydream era (88,938) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) The vocals are dreamy and puts the listener into a daydream type of vibe in my opinion that why I think that whistles and belting were minimal because of what she was going for with the album as far as direction. The era itself was a golden era for MC as she also delivered some of her best vocals on that tour as well. Also that era gave us all different MC vibes musically Pop, R&B, A/C, and hip hop. MOAIA (88,903) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) In my opinion this particular album played homage to 90’s R&B with a 2009 twist. The only downside to the album is the production becomes very stale quickly because Tricky and Dream stick to a certain sound and after awhile it falls flat. (Friday 29 March 2019; 23:30)

(New York City) I love these different debates in regards to M's catalog and this is why I respect her and her artistry still today because she has something to satisfy her fan base both young and old and even those in the middle. For the good and bad and everything in between there is only one Mariah Carey and there will never be another. (New York City) When it comes to lists and ranking things MC related it can be difficult for many of us because our tastes might change as we go through charges ourselves. For me I listen to an album when it first gets released I get a feel of the album, and absorb the feeling. Then I listen to the album in a different order and then I might not listen to the album again for about a couple of months but I might sneak in a couple of tracks from the album in between times. For me right now I prefer Caution over MIAM, I prefer E=MC2 over MOIA but also I prefer TEOM over E=MC2 so I say all of that to say Mariah has something to satisfy us all it just all boils down to preferences. (New York City) This latest documentary is same one that was shown in the UK not too long ago and a lot of it was a tall tale and exaggeration especially the part about the car. At this point anything coming from Damizza is based on him still sucking on sour grapes and honestly I think that he just like Stella, Walter, and others are just upset that Mariah has moved on with her life and she has not looked back and has been able to find happiness and sustain success without them. Obviously these people need MC’s name for people to even pay attention to them no matter who they have been afflicted with after. (Saturday 23 March 2019; 23:31)

Personally I feel like MC is trying to focus more on the touring side of things as are most artists nowadays. I believe that with Caution she wanted to bring new music to the touring because even though she can continue to cash in on her back catalog I am sure performing the same music and material can become very boring. Also I believe she felt that she needed to prove that she can still make quality music but also make the music that speaks to her. (Thursday 21 March 2019; 21:01)

My thing is complaining about the same issues day in and day out will not change anything until MC herself wants to make anymore changes. It's either accept where she is and what she wants to do at this point in her life and career or leave it alone. I miss certain things about 90's MC, but I can appreciate MC in 2019 as well because she is being true to herself and she gave me in my opinion a great quality album this last go round. Almost thirty years later no female artist has given us what she has given as far as influence and her catalog yet it is still not enough. She just released a great album yet she should work with everyone and their mama to please everyone. Why can't Mariah just do her and those that like it continue to support and those that are done riding her wave move on plain and simple. It has become so boring hearing people complain about the same things regarding Mariah at this point either accept for who she is or just hang on to who she once was and find another artist or artists that excite your tastes. Over it (88,660) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) It's crazy how everyone is upset about something that was never in the works, MC only mentioned she would love to work with Cardi. She also said she would love remix A No No with Lil Kim since she sampled her song and she always loved Crush On You. Again even if the remix was going to happen Atlantic would have blocked Cardi from appearing on the song simply because a Jermaine Dupri production is not popping in 2019. Besides the artist themselves radio programmers and PD's pay attention to who the producer is that artist worked with. So honestly speaking the remix Jermaine had in mind was never gonna happen so can we move on now? (Sunday 17 March 2019; 17:09)

Just know that she's smiling down on you from heaven and believe me when I say your moment with MC was her moment too. You have now gained an angel in the sky that watches over you and your family daily. The remix (88,618) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) Honestly MC said she would love to work with Cardi, she never said that it was happening. Now JD on the other hand was the one making a big deal about a remix and I really believe that this has everything to do with his ego simply because none of his actual production made it onto the album. His role was reduced to an associate producer on the A No No track while Shea Taylor is the main producer of the song. I feel JD feels some kind of way, even though nowadays there limitations on remixes because of chart rules which sucks because we all know that when the stars align Mariah can give and has given us some dope ass remixes throughout her career. Honestly if there is another chance I hope this meeting of the minds can come together with MC, Cardi, Lil Kim, and Missy but would rather another producer because a JD production in 2019 would not work, as his sound has become stale and dated as it is stuck in the mid 00's somewhere. Just MC reinvented herself with Caution and still gave us classic MC. I need JD to do the same with his production. By the way the original version of A No No is fine on its own. At this point (88,544) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) At this point bringing up the same topics without any clear information and understanding is pointless. Until MC chooses to speak on these topics such as her voice we can continue to assume what happened. I no longer need an answer for myself. I appreciate MC for her limitations as long as she is healthy and able to give me quality music I am ok. If I choose to continue to bring up the MC that was from 1990-1996. This is why YouTube and DVD’s and other forms of media somewhat still exist. But we all have certain things regarding MC that we want answers to but that does not mean that we are entitled to them. The video (88,402) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) For myself personally I like a lot from the retro style to the fun vibe. The message of the video from what I got was all the trash in her life is out the door personally and professionally and now she is back to living her life and enjoying her life as well. I can also understand that people expected or wanted more based on matching the video with the song itself. But nonetheless I am very satisfied with the results here. (Friday 8 March 2019; 17:46)

I really like how MC got creative with the set list giving us all a little bit of something instead of the same set list she does all of the time. This board (88,132) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) This board has gone right back to a negative place again it seems like nothing MC can do is right no matter what it is. Despite everything she is still doing great honestly she is no longer a twenty something year old chasing pop stardom she is now almost 50 and has cemented her legacy as one of the few pop divas we still have left despite the ups and downs she has gone through over the years. As a family I have to agree we fuss over the most foolish things at times but what keeps us going is the love that we share for MC. It is my hope that we can get back to appreciating her and her gifts before we no longer have them at our disposal. Be good to yourselves Archives family and let’s to be good to one another. Last comment (88,046) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) With all this discipline and hustling and being on the scene JLo is not doing any better commercially truthfully speaking. But the difference is her team covers her missteps better. On the musically her last release in 2014 sold less than MIAM yet it was forgotten about. Even when she released Dinero featuring Khaled and Cardi the song did nothing. So honestly both women have had their failures but Mariah's are more publicized and always have been. Even when MC was on top of the game she was judged more harshly than some of her contemporaries. But I must admit MC has to take better care of certain things than she has in recent years. JLo's management blind item (88,017) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) Even with JLo being everywhere she can possibly be musically and her box office draw is not the same as the early 00's. Even when she released her song with Cardi who is a hot commodity the song did nothing. Based on the blind item I am not surprised she is a jack of all trades yet she is a master of none other than being thirsty for the limelight and recognition. (Tuesday 12 February 2019; 20:29)

(New York City) Personally MC is at a space in her career where she has to choose her moves very wisely because the media has always been touch and go with her even during her golden years. Where some of her contemporaries will get praised the media will say that she is desperate or trend hopping. Honestly I like that she is going in her own lane and not trying to be on every award show or red carpet just to be noticed. If she is not promoting her projects I think she should stay low key. Because truthfully speaking we gotta admit even with the highs and lows throughout the years she has been able to remain relevant by doing things her way.
