Re: Reality show (60,731) (60,734) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Honestly I am still not a fan of the idea of a reality show, but since it will happen I have come to accept it. But I wish, I really wish Mariah knows exactly what she has gotten into and use this as a platform to re-introduce people (especially new audiences) to her artistry and this time show them the "real her". Because she says the whole diva thing is a play "just for laughs". Since the uber diva-ness puts people off, I hope she tones it down a little. Use it to promote your music, your songs, your talent not drama. As for Stella, I don't know if with all the backlash she has toned down her appearance but the show was definitely going to be used as a platform for her to be the new Kris Jenner and for her kids to be the new Kendall and Kylie because why else would she name it "Mariah's Squad". After the backlash from the fans they quickly changed it to "Mariah's World" but it remains to be seen how much attention the Bulochnikovs try to grab from it, especially since Stella already had a failed attempt at a reality show. So she is using Mariah's star power. I hope it stays about Mariah and doesn't become "Keeping Up with the Bulochnikovs". Stepping on Mariah's coattails Stella has already gotten herself featured on tabloids, the Wendy Show and Mariah's interviews. I have never seen her previous managers being talked about before in interviews. (Tuesday 22 March 2016; 15:56)

She seems to think the press is there for both her and Mariah. No, just no. Wendy loves herself some MC. Wendy was relatively nice about Mariah though compared to her previous episodes. I was surprised that she was actually not agreeing with the other guy who was trying to be super shady towards Mariah and came with all the wrong facts. "Mariah doesn't like to walk at her concerts." Ya right, you are basing that off 2 pictures, out of which 1 is her entrance, the second is her choreography. Then Mariah doesn't "talk before her concerts", ya well same goes for most people who have great voices to preserve their voices, which obviously he wouldn't know. I am glad that Wendy didn't take his bait and instead said "If I had a voice like Mariah's, I wouldn't speak either." Then "Mariah has been asking for a script, she doesn't understand it's a reality series." Well he is clearly "less than smart" if he thinks reality shows are completely unscripted. Then "she is using the same producers as KUWTK" followed by a "cringe". So what? If anything those producers managed to make stars out of unknown people and have 10 seasons and counting with numerous spin-offs. So if done right they can do much more with Mariah, who is already an established international superstar. Also thank you Wendy for calling out Stella. This is one of the rare times I wish Mariah watches Wendy's show and takes her advice like she did with the Vegas gig and the billionaire non-Hollwood boyfriend (just kidding). But didn't this surface around the middle of last year? It looks like a reality show format and is similar to the pictures Stella posted of her 2 kids recently. It's so sweet of you and honestly I am so happy that you and some people appreciate my posts and opinions. Thank you for the compliments about my posts, I really do enjoy finding out new pictures of Mariah and when I do, I just have to share it with someone, and since I don't really know a lot of people as obsessed/in love with Mariah (they don't know what they are missing out on) where I live, and so I either have to share it with you all, or pass out of excitement at my place with no one to share it with haha. Also, I just feel so proud when Mariah nails a look because she has set so many fashion trends but is still not regarded as a fashion icon, so gotta get the word out. Anyways, just wanted to leave you a small thank you note. It always makes me happy when people appreciate my contributions/posts on this board. I love your straight forward opinions too and I like it that there has been a lot of times that your posts have made me re-think some of my opinions from a different perspective. Lots of love. I wouldn't even let her finish her sentence, I would start packing and be like "Don't even worry about my accommodations, I will be perfectly fine sleeping in your closet." But that is exactly why she should never hire me as her manager you know lol. As for Wilfredo's departure, you are right he was ruining her style game and like I said obviously Page Six did exaggerate in their stories as expected. But I just want Mariah to be aware (not because I think she is not smart enough, Lord no, people made the mistake of thinking that when they thought she married Nick without a prenup haha) but because with the whole grueling schedule of a world tour, being a mother, planning a wedding and working out both her voice and body, I can't blame Mariah if she is a little distracted, you know what I mean? It also worries me that her finances, business and legal issues are also being handled by Stella's friends/relatives. That is never a good idea to have all of these come from one person. I am all for Stella whipping people in shape since Mariah's team did slack off but giving control of so much of her life to one person is not the best thing, but hey I might be wrong. I will keep an eye out during the documentary to see how much attention Stella tries to bring on herself though to see if my suspicions are right. But I do hope very much that I am wrong. New bodysuit (60,692) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Not a fan of the new bodysuit Mariah debuted at her last show. It looks tacky and it basically looks like a bejeweled swimsuit that only a diva like Mariah would wear while swimming. Sharp contrast from the original bodysuit she was wearing for the first few shows which were classy and sexy. But I heard she was losing beads from that one so maybe she had to stop using it. But this one is just horrible, not flattering (she still looks good because well she is Mariah) and to top it off, that necklace has to go. I can't deal with this disaster. Random (60,686) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Lol what is she getting her glam done for? Like seriously are you going on tour? She even left with Mariah with her hair in pins like that. Lord with Mariah's close family members out of the picture (and trying to drag her), Nick only caring about the kids, all her old friend (JD, Randy, and the likes who were horrible managers but good friends) I wonder who will warn Mariah. Because clearly Mariah has no time to get on the internet and see what we write. It's Stella. Even James was seen yelling at Stella in a video. I hope when James and MC gets married, it'll bring a stop to this weird habit of Mariah living with 200 people in her house. It's just not healthy. There should always be a healthy distance between the professional and personal life. (Monday 21 March 2016; 10:32)

Album title (60,685) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I am loving both "Phoenix" and "Songbird" and my little suggestion "Fire". But I think if Mariah is confident that she has a strong body of work, like "Butterfly" and "TEOM", she should definitely go for "Phoenix". It'll be perfect after the years she has been dragged through the mud. That name with a killer album cover and a strong body of work and please oh please right single choices is all we will need to get Mariah back to her throne. I think for singles she should put a few snippets on her website or instagram (insta might be too short though) and then ask the fans to choose the singles. (Monday 21 March 2016; 10:10)

Toxic relationships (60,684) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter So Stella calling off Page Six has gotten her exactly where I thought it would get her. Page Six is now out in full force, digging up the skeletons in her closet. How much of it is true, we'll probably never know and I won't be surprised if some are exaggerated but I can't help but think that some of the things mentioned are right. I was wondering a while back where Michael Richardson (her tour manager and I think part of her security detail) went, and turns out he left. Same with her business manager and all. Then last time we got news that her stylist Wilfredo Rosado (who also designed her engagement ring) is holding up the production of the reality series and according to page six he is now quitting. What is surprising me the most is not only is everyone from Mariah's old camp out (which is not necessarily a bad thing) but also her publicist Chris Chambers is quitting and he just joined her team last year after the departure of Cindi. So now the only and only people around Mariah are Stella, her daughters, Stella's close friend/relative Zarina (who is a lawyer and book keeper) and Lianna (another one of Stella's people) and Kris Buckle. We are quick to give Stella credit, but we don't know how much of the new Mariah is Stella's doing. I am not saying she didn't do anything. The Vegas gig was already in place, Mariah's weight loss/gain is something MC does every now and then, the UK tour got very little promo and managed to sell well on Mariah's brand name alone and because she went there after so long. What makes me dislike Stella is that she is practically living with her kids at Mariah's house, the only people travelling with Mariah are Stella's inner circle, Stella pushed in her younger daughter in Mariah's movie, now I have a feeling she'll try to get a prominent role for her and her daughters in the reality show. Lastly what is this all about "When I leave, at 1.15am, her manager tells me that my whole life is going to change now Mariah has shed her light on me. Her fairy dust has been showered." How weird is this? She even got the magazine to call her "the glamorous manager". Jeez, Mariah I know you are smart, just keep your eyes open. (Monday 21 March 2016; 10:06)

RJJ12 and Marissa (60,662) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter You guys have brought forward such excellent points and you just explained things way better than I ever could have. Those are exactly my views and the reason I post what I post, but I got so flustered and angry yesterday, I went on a train wreck rant. RJJ12's point about the importance of an artist's image and how the positive changes Mariah is bringing to her image is hinting towards or correlated to a new comeback is so true. Ever since Mariah is broken free from the "black gown and mic stand" look, she has been all about her image. Like it or not a person's image is as important as their talent nowadays because a lot of talented people are being overlooked since people don't find their image interesting enough. Marissa's point about people yearning for the fake Mariah (90-95) where she was basically Tommy's doll, is also on point. Why do people want Mariah to go back to something where she didn't feel like she was being genuine? There is a reason Mariah has a nick name of "Hood-Riah". She has been always into hip hop, she has always been into buzz words, heck I learned most of mine from her. All the talk about "why you frontin'" or "@-ing be constantly" or "stunting on instagram" these are all Mariah. So if that makes her a "twat" in your eyes, then so be it. The 90s Mariah won't come back, you might get the vocals, the songwriting, but as for her image, she will always be a girly girl and she will always be the one who changes from one outfit to another when she moves from one room to another like you saw on Cribs. And since that's what she is about, I don't think talking about her fashion is something that is off limits. I am a little surprised everyone thinks I am only about the fashion and hair because I do have many posts that talk about her music, her songwriting and the likes. The only reason I post so many photos are because I am proud of her and like to show her off. There are only so many times we can have "top 10" lists, and it gets boring when there is no new music around but oh well. It is what it is. Sorry for the random rant, I appreciate your post and I agree there is space for all topics on this board. I just wish people stop attacking each other by calling people "twats" and "b**ches* and "stupid" every time they don't agree with someone. Anyways thank you Deedre, you have always been super nice. Then you proceed to hate on Mariah while swearing up and down that you do love her and then announce that you are leaving but you "keep coming back incessantly oh why?". You seem to have mistook this board (which is supposed to be a MC discussion board, whether it's about MC's voice, her dress or her Hello Kitty) for the House of Lords. Not everything here has to be serious. As for the people you said are an embarrassment for their parents, sweet to see you so concerned, I am sure yours are super proud of you. Nice hair dahlin'. I love the Tin Tin inspiration, a little outdated though, just like your opinions about Mariah, her music, the fan girls and the out and proud individuals. But hey we love everybody.
