Re: Walter (59,428) (59,438) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I don't think lambs hate on Walter or try to discredit his input but I am guessing (from personal experience) what annoys them more is when it is suggested that Mariah "needs" Walter to write a decent song. Yes they had great iconic songs together, but Mariah didn't stop writing cheesy (in a good way) big ballads after that. I think people try to credit Walter so much for her initial songs that they forget Mariah was equally responsible for them. Don't forget that Walter may be successful but he is best know for his work with Mariah so why discredit Mariah's input in her songs? And Mariah is also an artist and an artist works her best when she is inspired and set free to follow their vision and the songs that she had with Walter were just not the type she was into. We have to embrace that. Plus Mariah had WBT almost 10 years after Walter and that song is also iconic and one of her most successful so no, not all of her new tracks are "throwaways". Do I crave a new sound from Mariah? Yes? Do I think she needs to go back to someone who once made a good writing partner but eventually betrayed her when she was at her most vulnerable? Like if you are giving the album away for free and have Samsung pay for it then obviously it'll go platinum. From what I heard, most of her fans didn't even enjoy the album. Jay-Z trying so hard to make Tidal happen and he got 1 million subscribers for Tidal after Rihanna released her hyped album for free but aren't these trial subscribers who will eventually close the account after a month? Jerry O'Connell (59,423) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter So I just saw Jerry's appearance on the Wendy Show and oh gosh the man is so funny. He is just effortlessly funny and just took over the show. I remember a while back he said in an interview that he had a crush on Mariah. Man I wish they had dated. Mariah loves to joke and Jerry would make her laugh until her tummy hurts. Plus the guy is quite the looker. (Friday 29 January 2016; 19:13)

I don't think we have seen photos of Mariah and the Packer kids anywhere, but I wouldn't rule out them having met in private without photographers around, just to keep it more intimate. She really does put up a show and while JLo is also a good performer, there is no need to put down Britney since she did manage to have a very successful residency at Vegas for a long time now. I laughed at Wendy saying "If I am not too exhausted, I will go watch Mariah after I see JLo." Like girl please, you know you love yourself some Mimi, no need to make it sound otherwise. Wendy now also keeps using "dahlin'" a lot in her sentences. Looks like Norman isn't the only lamb on that show. (Thursday 28 January 2016; 18:31)

The Packer Carey clan may have met in private. I mean we all know Mariah can pull private things away from the paps, like when she got married to Nick and no one knew about it until after it was done. It was simple, sleek and chic. I also loved how she was totally feeling like royalty and she looked like a queen meeting the commoners here and here. Love this too. Also I forgot to mention in my last post but I do love the messy bun situation she had going on in the pool scenes (if that was what you were referring to). That is so effortlessly sexy. It's every managers job. Every celebrity has managers and they all work tirelessly for them. I don't see Beyonce hanging out with her manager's kids at dates with Jay Z just saying. Plus you miss the point, no one said she has to absolutely never enjoy with Mariah and bring her daughters, Everyone who talked about this topic were very specific about how sometimes the line has been crossed and Stella along with her daughters were present in places that would be considered especially private. Benny, Jermaine, Randy and many others who managed her before didn't do that either. Jermaine being one of her closest friend didn't follow her with his entire family. Chris Chambers personally attends Mariah's big occasions like the Walk of Fame program and all. I really don't know what Stella's job is now apart from the infinite hashtags and throwback posts. Calabasas (59,345) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter If rumors are true Mariah is moving into a huge place in Calabasas, which is understandable I guess. It's a safe gated, expensive community and perfect for family life. But I sure hope she keeps the NYC apartment forever. That apartment is a gem. Even without being in it, I feel like I know it so well (creep alert). Thanks to watching the cribs episode multiple times and her apartment (including the elusive bedroom) being featured in magazines, I feel like I know the apartment well and ever since I saw it in Cribs, I always wished I had one like that, especially that monster closet. I am sure Packer was like "Back off Stella, do I even need to talk dirty to Mariah in front of you and your kids?" Remember the kissing picture of Mariah and James that "leaked" to TMZ and it was clearly not a paparazzi photo because someone took it standing right next to them? Haha imagine Stella standing there watching them telling Mariah "Yass girl kiss that billionaire, we need them headlines." (Tuesday 26 January 2016; 5:54)

Haha but no seriously, where are Jermaine, Da Brat, Rachel, Michael Richardson and Jasmine (although I don't care for Jasmine)? Is Stella Mariah's only friend now? Because a lot of time Stella's kids are with Mariah when the twins aren't even around. Like the Nobu date with Packer. During the engagement even if the kids where there, Stella's kid was walking out with Mariah and James and walking straight towards their car. Then the recent picture of them out in the snow, it was Stella, her kid and Mariah. I see the kids mostly around Mariah than with the kids. Stella also highlights how close Mariah and the elder one is. (Monday 25 January 2016; 20:49)

I might be wrong, I don't know but Rachel definitely knew Mariah really well and so it made sense for her to be in her inner circle. Stella just popped up last year and ever since then every previous friends of Mariah has dropped like flies. The only thing with Rachel was she needed to stop doing Mariah's choreography because she got her stuck in the same 3 step move for every song, every show. Other than that their friendship didn't seem so off because they knew each other since they were young. (Monday 25 January 2016; 18:43)

I don't know exactly what Stella's role is and even if she is her manager, it's not mandatory for her to be at the engagement (because that's personal not professional) but I can still be fine with her being there but her kids too? What exactly is their role? Why are they at personal dates with Packer? Why are they at all the personal vacations with Packer? I don't think it's professional for a manager to travel with her entire family with their client. I never saw any other celeb manager do it. Plus Stella now calls Packer's yacht her "second home". Like um no, it's not, it's maybe Mariah's second home. In case you forgot, Packer didn't propose to the entire clan. Then Stella uploaded the picture of Mariah's ring and went blabbering about how it's "35 carats" and all. It's fine for us fans to gush over it but someone from her inner professional circle to be so unprofessional and childish that she is talking about the carats is cringe worthy too. Thank the Lord she didn't upload it on Mariah's account with hashtags "pip engagement moments", "pow 35 carats diamond ring", "come on", "engagement ring game strong", "eternally twelve", "pon de 14th floor" and then something random like "can't let go".
