Re: Hero (99,854) (99,855) by Libra Lamb from USA I've always enjoyed Hero too, it is a wonderful "signature song" and my opinion of the song hasn't changed and will not change since Mariah said whatever she said about the song. Having said that, I prefer Through the Rain and I think that Mariah and her co-writer would have written Hero differently had they known Mariah would end up keeping the song for herself. I prefer her catalogue from 1995-present and the Christmas albums, it's just a preference thing and we all have different tastes, the same songs mean different things to us all. Let's respect each other's opinions because it's just that, an opinion. We Belong Together and All I Want for Christmas is You may actually be the signature song of a specific generation and Hero is the same for the previous generation. A lot of people still stand by Vision of Love as their favorite and the "signature song" so it's different for everyone and that's okay. Anyways, I can't wait for any new material from her. I want a brand new studio album, a new Christmas album, The Rarities Volume 2, then Volume 3. I want the Glitter movie released on digital with much more bonus material than the original DVD. The Mariah Carey ultimate music video library on digital (1990-present). I also want to see Mariah on the silver screen playing a role written specifically for her. I think she's hilarious but I'm afraid a lot of people don't understand her sense of humor. I hope everyone is safe in the Ukraine, it's horrible what's happening right now. I can't believe it's 2022 as to hear the word war again. The local news in Atlanta called it World War 3. Re: Perfume (99,740) (99,745) by Libra Lamb from USA I love to use M as a perfume and I layer it with a cologne and I get the best of both worlds. My favorite perfumes or whatever are the unisex Tom Ford has put out, they're all delicious, except the peach one, they missed the mark on that one. If I could wear all of Mariah's scents I absolutely would. Who says only women can have the nice things. It's 2022 and time to stop thinking trivial things have to be one way or another. Wether people love it or hate it, it doesn't matter, it's never going to go away or lose its appeal around Christmas time. I personally love it and one of my favorite versions, if not my favorite, is the So So Def Remix. It's just too damn cute and infectious. Sometimes I think the general public just likes to hate on Mariah because they think it's "cool" but they don't realize how stupid they seem. I know Mariah still has some more hits left in her, maybe even another #1. We'll just have to wait and see. Congratulations to her for hitting the #1 spot yet again and breaking more records. Supporting Mariah unconditionally (99,224) by Libra Lamb from USA Mariah has always said that she's always been grateful to her fans, supporting her through the good and the bad. She's even gone as far as referring to her fan base as an extension of her family. Therefore I will never come here or on any place on the internet to criticize her and make assumptions or statements that will make her feel any type of way other than appreciated. I am a firm believer that putting bad energy out there will eventually come back to bite us in the behind. And we all know that the people closest to you can hurt you the most. Even though she doesn't know me personally, I know that she appreciates us loyal fans. That's why you won't see me post anything negative or disrespectful about her. Like I've said before, she's as human as you and I and is subject to the same feelings that we are. If you truly want the best from someone, you have to put out good energy out there towards them. I'm not blind to her choices or mistakes, she's not superhuman and she's no longer 20 years old. It takes less effort to be kind than to be mean or "right" about whatever point you're trying to make. She continues to make music because that's what makes her and some of us happy. I don't care about the voice, I don't care about the splashes or anything in regards to her personal life. She's a human being just like the rest of us and she's entitled to make her own choices and even her own mistakes. I'd say, if anyone can't accept that, it's time to move on. And no one else is doing what she does each year to liven up our season. I hope it's a whole new Christmas album that we get with original and classic songs. I would buy the shhh out of it. I'm super excited for the new song coming out on November 5th. I also wish for more MC30 surprises, The Rarities Part 2 and a brand new R&B/Pop album for 2022. We need the campy and fun Glitter movie on digital release with lots of bonus material. She looks and sounds amazing. Get ready lambs, sabe your coins, and stream, stream and stream. Love to you all. BTW I saw the new Candyman movie and I have to say it was pretty good. It felt unfinished for some reason but still a very good movie. I think the message behind it was very powerful. I never knew There For Me was written for the lambily and the fans, I just learned it from Mariah herself. Now I love that song even more. She sounds very genuine and happy about talking to the lambs and she's feeling that mutual love and support. I think I fell in love with her more, you can hear during the chat that she's just a deep soul and a human being just like you and I. We love you Mariah. And we appreciate you. Collaborations (98,521) by Libra Lamb from USA I have always wondered what a Mariah/Janet Jackson or a Mariah/Toni Braxton song would sound like. There are so many talented R&B artists out there, I wish Mariah would collaborate with other great female voices. If done right, it could be a huge hit for all involved. I'm curious about the Justin Timberlake collaboration but at the same time I'm also glad it was never released, I don't care much for him. Do you guys think we'll ever get Mariah and Beyoncé on the same song? She's friendly with most of the women, but we don't get many collaborations, I don't think it's that simple either but c'mon, it's Mariah freaking Carey, people should be lining up to be on her records. The Glitter and Butterfly photo shoots are phenomenal, she exudes sexiness and beauty. I'm super excited at the thought of new music coming out way, Christmas songs or whatever, I'm here for it. I want something fresh and a new style, I love the signature style but I also want something "new" and unexpected. Like when "it's Like That" came out, it took a second listen but quickly grew on me. I had no clue what was happening with her. I try not to get too invested in celebrities and their personal lives, after all they are just people like you and I. Then I started paying attention to the clues on her social media posts and quickly began to notice that something wasn't right. Now I'm mad at the people that are doing this to her and I feel really bad for her and I hope that she gets her life back. Nobody deserves what's happening to her and you're absolutely right, that could've easily been our girl Mariah, trapped by her mother with no control over her own life. (Friday 25 June 2021; 00:25)

A good R&B/Pop album is much needed right now before the Holidays sneak up on us again and she devotes all her promotional time to the Merry Christmas/AIWFCIY yearly monster of a hit. Lead The Way, If We, All My Life, Don't Stop, Twister, and of course Loverboy. What a gem of a soundtrack lol. There For Me is sooooo underrated and under appreciated, I wish it was included on the album. It really is a shame what happened to this soundtrack and how the movie was taken down the wrong path from the original concept. I am still waiting patiently for the digital movie release. I'm praying that on the 20th anniversary we get the album te-released and the movie with tons of extras and all the music videos in high def. Fingers crossed. (Tuesday 1 June 2021; 19:10)

Christmas album (97,989) by Libra Lamb from USA I wouldn't mind another Christmas album. There are so many classic songs that Mariah hasn't recorded or released yet and she's an amazing writer and producer. I thoroughly enjoy her holiday content and she loves Christmas so much that she would do it right. Where Are You Christmas could finally be released with her vocals. Fingers crossed. I will support her in any way I can, of course. On another note, Malfoy from the House of Slytherin has been really quiet, almost too quiet.
