Re: When With You drops on October 5 (83,884) (83,903) by RJJ12 from USA These tactics don't work or else she would have had a number 1 again a long time ago. Even if it hits #1 on iTunes that's not enough for a decent Hot 100 placement. GTFO got a remarkable response and sat at #2 for a bit before falling off. For any song to succeed the general public has to pick up on it. The first single will have to be great and she and the label will have to push and promote the hell out of it and not give up on it so easily. Songs take a while to take off these days and sometimes throwing random songs out without any push or promo become pointless. It took Havana a loooong time after its release to climb the charts but it slowly did once people heard it and hit #2 and people are still playing that song like it came out yesterday. The buzz song did its job and I"m excited for the album. Those that did hear it that aren't lambs are newly interested in her, but they will forget about it since there there is no promo as there was never any intention of pushing it unless the public started buying it like crazy. I wouldn't mind a lyric video or at least the lyrics in the album insert this time. She never gave us the lyrics to the Me I Am Mariah album like she promised she would. I'm still upset it never got a chance. A whole album. You're Mine got a decent push from her and the label but she gave up on it too soon and it wasn't the right single for spring, an uptempo would have been better suited. So sad that Toni was going through legal trouble and had to decline. It made me happy to hear that Mariah reached out to another big female mega star who she could have been threatened by and asked to do a song. Now I know why Toni has always defended her. I was just referring to how this board can at times be taken over by negativity when jewels of info like this that came out last spring end up being missed because of the bashing. It was a great read if you got a chance to read the article and Toni would have fit perfectly on the Rainbow album. Mariah asked Toni to collaborate for the Rainbow album but Toni couldn't due to her bankruptcy as she revealed in an interview for her "Sex and cigarettes" album here. Surprised no one brought it up but the narrative on this board is to bash Mariah instead of discussing such an interesting topic such as this. Re: New release (83,606) (83,608) by RJJ12 from USA Liron told the lambs on Twitter it's a "Japan thing" so no new album. Maybe a contractual obligation to release a compilation disc of some sort to that market since it's her second biggest market after the US. We will probably get a single if we are lucky this year with an album next year or maybe she will hold off until after Christmas all together for any new music. (Friday 7 September 2018; 00:27)

Crybaby Vegas live (83,598) by RJJ12 from USA She can still sing if she actually takes care of her voice. Crybaby sounded really good. Her tone was so clear and honey like. Tamar singing Honey (81,150) by RJJ12 from USA Does she do Mariah covers in concerts? I'd love to hear her sing a full song. She's always singing snippets of other MC songs. She was blasting through those high belts in Honey while roaming around her kitchen. Perfect transition from the highest belt on the song to the soft airy rift. She's def a student of Mariah. She finally plays around with her fashion, sexy, covered up. Something I want Mariah to do in her videos. Django Jane is another brilliant song and video. In red instead of that black and white suit and her flow had gotten so much better. Two completely different songs. I need the album now. People don't appreciate it because other bad rep at the time but there isn't a song on Ray of Light that can beat Take A Bow. The whole album is sooo good. My fav from Madonna. Had she not had the accident she could have continued to push the song. The whole album had hits. Hoping for more great songs that get a ton of promo. Sony put a bunch of promo behind Crapfinity. It's a nice uptempo that she should add to her set list as most of her catalog is ballad heavy.
