#Beautiful airplay (83,536)
by Bobby A from United States
| |
|
|
It is hard to believe that #Beautiful was the last big radio hit MC has had. Despite being MC's best song since Obsessed, the only reason it did so well on the charts was because Def Jam had a promo with radio stations to play it every hour all day when it was released. Why did it stall at number #15? It will be interesting to see what radio promo Epic/Rod Nation comes up with for the first single. I just hope radio embraces her with the new single. She needs a big performance after it is release to maximize the song's potential on the charts. For example - Carrie Underwood's Cry Pretty at that big country awards show. My has gone right now which one. Lol.

Does anybody have a mp3 of this song from the VH1 Saves The Music special? This duet with John Legend is up there with Endless Love with Luther Vandross. Total classic vocal delivery by Mariah and John Legend.

Before iHeart (83,511)
by Bobby A from United States
| |
|
|
I am just wondering during the next 3 week's before the iHeart Music Festival will we have the first single, the title of the album, release date, the tracklisting and surprise collaborations? I am hoping for three collaborations: The Weeknd, Post Malone, and Drake. She has to be smart with choosing the first single because one wrong choice will disappoint us, radio, and critics. So MC has to choose a first single that makes a statement that Mimi is back. It needs to remind us why we fell in love with Mimi. Something like Fantasy or Honey or Touch My Body would make a statement. Post Malone or Drake as a feature will make people want more and radio play her again. Maybe Cardi B or Chris Brown or Ed Sherran feature would give Mimi that radio airplay that she needs so badly. Just thinking before bed listening to radio. Guess who came on the radio again? Cardi B. Lol. Oh well, we need to do something special to help her downloads and radio airplay with the first single. Any ideas?

This is her last chance to shine at the top. She is going to deliver this time. With production and hit making songwriting skills by Poo Bear, No ID, Bobby Ross Avila, Diane Warren, Prince Charlez, Crystal Nicole, and a few other surprise collaborations, she has to be destined to deliver the best R&B album of 2018. I bet the album is already titled and tracks sequenced. I am sure Jay Z, Tyran Smith, and Sylvia Rhone all have heard the album and given MC a thumbs up.

Top 5 fall most anticipated albums (83,479)
by Bobby A from United States
| |
|
|
1. Mariah Carey - MC15 - Fall 2018 2. Culture Club - Life - October 26 3. Carrie Underwood - Cry Pretty - September 26 4. Janet Janet - JJ10 - Fall 2018 5. Zayn - Z2 - Fall 2018 6. Bubbling Under - Liam Payne - Fall 2018 7. Jason Derulo - Fall 2018 Carrie is going to have huge first week numbers. A more personal soulful and emotional Carrie will be revealed on the new album. Culture Club won't be a huge seller or garner any radio airplay, but the album will receive rave reviews. Janet just released her new song with Daddy Yankee. Her new album is going to lack promotion when it is released. She needs Virgin Records again. Zayn's new album may be pushed back for more studio time and for a hit single that is rising on the chart. His last four singles have flopped. I don't know why he is singing all this pop and not doing more R&B and alternative R&B. His voice is suited for both genres. And last our girl, Mimi is going to have huge first week numbers because no anticipation has been higher for a Mariah Carey album since TEOM. The album cover is going to be hot. MC15 will be a defining moment for her career just like Butterfly and TEOM. Are we ready? Because the first single is going drop really soon. I am predicting the album will be here in time for presents under the Christmas tree. Expect to be surprised with MC15.

MC15's mystery and Zayn (83,434)
by Bobby A from United States
| |
|
|
First, why has Zayn's last three singles flopped for his forthcoming album? The album being released this year is not looking good at all. I have been tweeting for him to call in Johnta Austin or Chris Brown for that Pillowtalk hit. Second, I know I can't be the only one saying that out of all MC's last 14 albums, MC15 is the only one where the musical direction and the sound is such a mystery. We have no earthly idea what this album is going to sound like or the musical influences the album will carry. JD really didn't help the mystery by saying Mimi is going for an aggressive sound. I liked the sound of that when I first heard the word aggressive, but what does that actually mean in terms of the album's sound? I don't know how much more I can wait for the big announcement or the first single to drop. I am on pins and needles. Lol. I am glad she is now back in the studio. I just hope the album comes out in time for my Thanksgiving road trip to Chattanooga and Atlanta. Last Thanksgiving week, I blasted Sam Smith's The Thrill Of It All in Nashville all the way to Memphis.

I agree wholeheartedly with your review. But, all of the songs sound alike. Definitely a step down from Dangerous Woman. I almost bought it at Target today. MC is going to show everybody really soon how an new album should be cohesive, unique, innovative, and sonically on point. Are we ready for the new era? It is about to happen really soon.

Diane Warren sounds promising for MC15. Recording songs that are aggressive is the mindset she is going to need for a competitive fall music lineup starting in October. Whatever happened to the song they finished August of 2015 that Diane Warren tweeted about? And that reminds me, didn't Mariah tweet a picture of she, JD and Cristyle in the studio back in 2016 working on a new song? Will that song and the Busta Rhymes song come 2017 be considered for the new album? MC15 is coming this year.

Cool album titles but if the production credits looked like below then MC would have a stone cold winner for sure without a weird album title like in 2014. Seventeen tracks should hold us over for another 4 years before MC 16. 1. Jermaine Dupri/Bryan-Michael Cox 2. Detail/A1 Bentley 3. Jermaine Dupri/Bobby Ross Avila 4. Frank Dukes/Poo Bear 5. Fred Ball/Poo Bear 6. Harvey Mason Jr./Damon Thomas 7. DJ Mustard 8. Scott Storch/Poo Bear 9. Frank Dukes/Prince Charles 10. 1Mind 11. Fred Ball/Poo Bear 12. No ID/Metro Boomin 13. Max Martin/Ed Sherran/Greg Kurstin 14. Babyface/Antonio Dixon/Daryl Simmons 15. Nic Nac/A1 Bentley 16. Kirk Franklin 17. James Poyser

Re: October dates (83,345) (83,346)
by Bobby A from United States

I am counting on this album to put her back at number one. She really been working hard recording new songs for the album. She recorded secretly with Poo Bear without any posted studio pictures, she brought in Johnta Austin again to recreate the WBT magic, finally worked with Bobby Ross Avila, and other new collaborators we don't know about yet. I am hoping for a Kirk Franklin and Max Martin collaboration. I have to believe MC15 is coming this year. I want her to end 2018 on a high note. Everybody should stay positive if you are a true Lamb.

October dates (83,344)
by Bobby A from United States
| |

It looks like MC realized she overextended herself again by having to cancel the Australian and New Zealand dates. The pressure is on to get her album finished to promote it in October. Jay Z and team probably said to her we need to release the album in October or November.

Fall music 2018 (83,336)
by Bobby A from United States

|

If Mariah does release her 15th studio album this fall, she is going to be competing for album sales with Carrie Underwood, Rihanna, Celine Dion, Britney Spears, Zayn, Ella Mai, Backstreet Boys, Culture Club, Maxwell and many more. It is going to be the biggest fall music release in years. Will we finally see MC15 in the 4th quarter of 2018?

Where is your compassion for those who may have suffered some type of trauma in their childhood that causes a chemical imbalance that leads to addictions they can't control? We all got something that we are dealing with. However, most of us don't have every aspect of our lives played out on the world stage to be judged by everybody.

New album (83,267)
by Bobby A from United States
| |
|
|
MC always has an inspirational gospel type of song on her albums. So, I am just wondering has MC considered collaborating with Kirk Franklin, Greg Curtis, or Warryn Campbell for the new album. I am tweeted her about working with Kirk Franklin. She has been really quiet since the JD, Johnta Austin, and Bobby Avila Instagram post. Lambs, the album is coming this year. This Fall's music releases is going to be huge. Get ready for MC to shine again.

Lambs this is just beautiful to see them at the piano composing a song together. They made beautiful music together. We have to let her know that we would love to see her and Walter A. at the piano again. So, I have an idea for tomorrow starting at 11am CDT. Let's tweet storm MC at that time begging and pleading for her and Walter A. to collaborate again for her 15th studio album in the coming weeks. We have to let her know that Lambs are longing for another Walter A. collaboration. It makes sense now to do this now in her career. It worked for Johnta Austin this week. I tweeted her about calling in Johnta Austin and she listened. I am Tony Campbell on Twitter. Who is down for tomorrow?
