Plus I also cringed at her repeatedly bringing up the concert she gave at her high school and mentioning how she got Jay Z there and all. It was not necessary, she could have just said "I probably won't be able to make it" or a vague "I don't know, we'll see". One can argue that she just said that because she doesn't like TMZ staff (or paps in general) because they hounded her during her divorce, but hello she had the option of just not talking to them at all like she used to and also her team has definitely been working with TMZ recently to get her image on track. So I really see no reason as to why she needed to be haughty while answering this simple question. Stella was probably trying to dilute the mess a little, but really it has to be Mariah who needs to change these. (Friday 7 August 2015; 21:43)

Remix (55,777) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter If they do intend to release the remix, they should actually make an effort to help it chart better instead of passing it off as a "just for fans" remix. I mean as odd as the trio is as collaborators, this could really help them push "Infinity" a little higher. Work on a great video, as much as I love the simple videos of DFAU (Remix), and My All/Stay Awhile, those won't work for this song particularly. So work on a good video. Throw in a Justin dance number, that will get the teenagers and "tweens" to stream the video and gush over it. Montana isn't big but a lot of his songs are played on the radio so Montana can work on the radios picking it up. Nevertheless have a radio deal. Make Justin put in a tweet/instagram post to promote the song. Mariah's team should work their magic the way they have been doing with everything else. Perform the song at the VMAs (although I think that won't happen). Just get the darn song out there. Don't waste more recordings by basically giving it away without an effort to capitalize on it. The original song was more or less a flop commercially, if the remix tanks because of low promo, then I honestly will be pissed. (Friday 7 August 2015; 12:19)

Every time I try to post my real message it fails, and then when I write a complaint that I am not being able to post, it immediately works. P.S. Eric I know it's not your fault. You did a great job on the lay out. It looks so sleek. I have been trying to send a thank you message for a long time but it's not posting. So I'll try to sneak the message in under this complaint. Just wanted to say that thank you so much for keeping this site up and running. Infinity remix (55,744) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Ok so I heard the remix. Very low quality but you can hear it here. I'll have to say even from LQ version it sounds better than the original. Although the chorus is similar to the original, she did layer it with something so the "Infinity ee ee ee" doesn't sound so harsh. The first verse is French, then Mariah comes in with "why you mad verse" skips the "frito rap" and goes straight into "close the door, lose the keys". Then comes Justin with his verse. Yes I am happy Justin has a verse and not just background vocals. Justin's new song is making headlines and impacting BB without even being released. So he still has a lot of pull fan base wise. I wonder when they plan to release it. I mean they said "coming soon" but that can mean anything. (Thursday 6 August 2015; 13:25)

Roc is like any of us (55,742) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I saw this gif of Roc and it is hilarious. Honestly this could be any of us when we see Mariah haha. Trying to lounge on her booty while someone drags us out and we kick and scream. It's cute. I know a lot of people got angry and said the kids were misbehaving or that the kids should have been left at home but really they are just kids and Mariah brought them because it's a career milestone for her and she probably wanted to share her day with the kids. I wouldn't even blame Nick for this, it's no one's fault really. Except for maybe the entourage, who could have done a better job but maybe the kids were screaming and they didn't want to get fired for denying Mariah's kids anything. It's not that big of a deal, the ceremony went smoothly. Roc seems to be very attached to his mom because even when she was sitting in the audience, he was all over her, touching and grabbing her and all that. Roe is more shy and composed but you can tell even she wants to hold on to Mariah because she ran to her every chance she got. I think it shows that Mariah indeed is close to her babies unlike what many people think that she just leaves them with the nannies all the time. I had a big smile on my face when she picked up each kid and they both yelled "I love you mommy". 25 years in the business, over 200 million records sold, more #1's than any solo artist, but I think Mariah's biggest achievement is getting the 2 awards she got in April 2011. Someone uploaded a poor quality version of the remix but I can't seem to download it. People who heard it seems to like it. Walk of Fame (55,721) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Just finished watching the live stream. Mariah looked great, the dress wasn't my favorite but I can live with it. I loved the speeches that were given and how they were personal and gave anecdotes instead of a formal speech. Mariah is going to be on Empire this season. Lee confirmed it during his speech. I almost choked laughing hard at Roc randomly running in from no where (multiple times may I add) and basically rolling around on top of Mariah. Mess haha. But oh well, overall the ceremony was cute, Mariah looked great, I'll go now look for official photos. (Wednesday 5 August 2015; 21:30)

I'm like what is happening, is Mariah trolling us because her fans are mean to her, or were they just partying and playing random songs. Because really I don't see the point of an "Infinity" remix. Stella, lol you are right, they do seem out of it and when Mariah came out with that huge shell I was like wait what did I just see? Marissa, there is a video in the works. We can clearly hear "infinity" being played while Mariah and French are fooling around. I really hope she was just playing it for no reason and that it's not the song they are working on. This is the video. There is another video of them fooling around too and that's French rapping and we can hear MC's voice singing on the track. (Wednesday 5 August 2015; 13:42)

B (55,687) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Finally someone is excited about the song. Ugh I thought I was the only one looking forward to it. I see the Beliebers are really rooting for this collaboration. The lambs not so much. I think this would be a great exposure for Mariah too, since like you mentioned that he has a huge fan base who adores him. Justin has many times mentioned Mariah as an artist he respects and listens to. I hope he actually has a verse in the song or at least the chorus and that he is not just doing background vocals. I am not a fan of French, but I am open to new surprising collaborations as long as the song is good. (Wednesday 5 August 2015; 0:04)

I want them legs out in the open. I'd like die out of happiness if Mariah decides to wear a pant suit. It will be formal, classy and sexy. She can wear a low cut blouse underneath. A sexy black or deep navy pant suit with a silky blouse. Other options I'd like her flowing knee length dresses. Eminem (55,672) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I don't think Eminem ruined her. If anything "Obsessed" got Mariah a lot of new fans. Teenagers and all who thought the song was cool. She got more street cred with that song and people thought that she was cool to come up with such a flawless diss. When Mariah used the line from "Mean Girls", that line became a household line. People used it and back and forth and even now it's still used and Mariah is credited not the movie. Mariah's fandom has been getting smaller ever since she ditched what people call her "classic" sound and moved towards R&B. Some of her older listeners slowly left her. I don't think it has anything to do with Eminem. Obsessed cracked top 10. It went to #7 and would have climbed even above that because it was truly a catchy pop song. What ruined Mariah was one bad decision after another with her release strategies until a point came where everyone just thought that it's too late now. She jumped back up with #Beautiful but yet again due to unfortunate events it died. This is not a shade at Mandy, this is just my opinion. (Tuesday 4 August 2015; 21:40)

Fashion post (55,664) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Mariah actually looked great in the jeans-black tank top-cream cardigan thing she wore just 2-3 days back. Although I could do without the cardigan but she looked great nevertheless. She also looked great in the gray tank top and jeans she wore to the beach the other day. But that silver shiny top she wore 2 days back was bad. I am with B, Licia and Marissa about how Mariah's fashion choices are what's mainly wrong. Ditch the long gowns. Go for knee length dresses, jeans-tee combos and less of the boobs. We have established that the boobs are nice and shapely, now they can rest covered in expensive material. I'd give more fashion advice to Mariah but then "one of us has got to pick the phone up" and/or Edward is going to fashion-post shame me again. Haha joking. (Tuesday 4 August 2015; 11:58)

Marissa (55,662) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Thanks. I too had at one point this year put behind the hope of another hit so I get where you are at right now. We have all been through multiple hypes of the next #1 only to be frustrated with the roll out and messy unsure plans. But I do believe, (as I'm sure you do too) that Mariah still can get hits if she really tries. Honestly if a song like JLo's "Booty" can crack top 20, and Britney's "Pretty Girls" can hit top 30, don't you think YME and "Infinity" could have charted higher if they were given more exposure? WBT would not have been such a big hit no matter how beautiful and brilliant the song is had it not gotten the exposure that it got in 2005. And to think that it was 10 years back when people still bought music and people were rooting for a comeback and now its 2015 when current artists are struggling and people have small attention spans, it is absolutely essential for the promo to be on point or else it's difficult to chart. Plus the song needs to be refreshing and the video needs to be good for it to manage to climb into the top 10. With her current team, she may be able to achieve that, but the planning needs to be done well. Let's not have a major roll out for an album cover and then wait for a month after the song to release the video. (Tuesday 4 August 2015; 10:51)

Haha I think we already went on a rant session about the re-release of the original Christmas album a while back. I am still not into re-release because it already got re-released a couple of times and secondly it's clear that this album is the last album that the GP needs to be reminded of because if one Mariah album consistently sells for sure every year, it's the Christmas album. Dear Mariah (55,651) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I've said this before but I'll just say this again in the hopes that if Mariah's team reads this board, they will take this into consideration. Please don't jump into another era until you are sure that you can give it your all and by "your all" I don't mean that just the writing and singing but what comes before and after the making of the album too. The last few eras have been really messy and we can trace it back to 2009-10 with the "will she, will she not" release the remix album for Memoirs. Two remix videos released but not pushed. Bad single/video choices. We can even go back and say that the decline started from post TMB 2008 when Mariah eloped, but I'll leave that out since she did start trying again from the initial stages of Memoirs. Things went bad after L.A quickly left behind "Obsessed" instead of pushing it more. Since then (with the exception of MCIIY) we had one bad era after another. Each era getting the fans excited with hopes of the next chart topper only to leave them frustrated with delays, absurdly bad single choices (it's like they intentionally are leaving out singles the public are demanding) and extremely bad album/single roll out and promo plans. I won't even get into the disastrous videos. With 2015 we again went crazy with hope for "Infinity" which was apparently going to be the next WBT (not musically but success wise) at least that's what everyone thought when the hint was dropped with the two song titles side by side. But then we ended up with a bad roll out and a video that came over a month after the song and a song which although is good, it was never #1 material. Anyways, I just want to say other than "infinity" Mariah's new team has proven to be very competent and great at turning her image around so I hope she takes advantage of it. I just want to say please, please, please have all your ducks in a row before you announce your next project. If you need time, take it, but continuously taking up projects and dropping them when they don't succeed is going to only cause more harm. Just to clarify, Vegas is not in my list of projects that has gone wrong. I think Vegas did her a lot of good and improved her voice and confidence. I am writing this plea as a fan who loves you and adores you and wishes to see you back on the top of the charts where you belong. I need you to shut people up one more time. I need the Mariah who said "if they counted me out, they'll just have to count me back in". (Tuesday 4 August 2015; 0:17)

I am even fine if the remix turns out to be French's track on which she is featured (since we were semi ready to wait for new music). As long as it's a new song, I'm fine with it. But still no more Christmas stuff (for me). I think having 2 successful Christmas albums with possibly the most famous modern classic of a Christmas song and earning (rightfully) the title of the queen of Christmas is enough to last for a lifetime.
