About B from USA: Slowly but surely®™ The Vindication of B ®™

"There are people called haters and we give them positivity" MC

PJW (44,806) by B from USA
I would prefer not to think about it. I don't think she should have the surgery. I'm fine with her lipping her performances. I agree some lifestyle changes might restore and prevent further damage. I don't think any damage is permanent.

The Roof (44,795) by B from USA
After hearing Pablo express his love your Side Effects I would like to mention The Roof. I think it's the best song ever written. It's been called the height of hip hop soul's elegance and I agree. The sample, her vocals and background vocals, the lyrics and that video. Mariah Carey is the lyricist of our generation. And the voice.

Thoughts (44,781) by B from USA
I love the new album. Yes, I agree MC needs to get out there and promote this masterpiece. YDKWTD needs to be a single yesterday. But even if she doesn't I'll still support her because she continues to give me the music that I want. Her music is and always has been the soundtrack to my life. Before #Beautiful was released a guy told me I was kind of beautiful. When Loverboy was released I had a sugar daddy (I was 16 he was 24). When WTB was released I had broken up with my boyfriend. I could go on and on, lol.

Me. I am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse (44,779) by B from USA
1. Faded
2. Dedicated
3. #Beautiful
4. Make It Look Good
5. You Don't Know What To Do
6. Thirsty
7. Meteorite
8. Supernatural
I love this album. Has anyone read the Top 40 review. Is this album destined to be a forgotten gem? t's her best album since TEOM. I agree it really is. My five year old nephew loves Supernatural. It's too cute he makes me rewind the NBC special so he can hear it played during the home video of MC and Nick with dem babies. BTW, when I bought my copy I took all five Walmart had and put them in the front of the electronic department where new releases are supposed to be. They had MC's new album buried in the back. Blasphemy.

Pablo (44,778) by B from USA
I love Side Effects and Breakdown. I think those songs are lyrical masterpieces.

What is a flop (44,776) by B from USA
J.Lo's new album A.K.A. only sold 30,000 copies, 20,000 less than Me. I Am Mariah.

My opinion (44,760) by B from USA
E=MC2 sold a million copies and was certified platinum. Memoirs sold half a million copies and was certified gold. I think this system needs to be changed to reflect the current state of the recording industry. Albums don't sell like the used to.

YDKWTD, Meteorite, or MILG (44,699) by B from USA
Mariah, JD, and Island/Def Jam need to release one of those three songs to radio with a Clear Channel deal, a video, and line up performances/interviews on Fallon and/or Ellen. Shaking my head at this diva sized debacle. What is going on?

Appearance (44,625) by B from USA
Mariah's always been insecure about her appearance so I understand why she doesn't want to film a music video until she looses weight. Promoting the beverage instead of the music is bizarre. The honey flavored tea would make more sense. If people don't want to buy her music, why would they want to buy her beverage? She needs to get it together, ASAP.

MIAMTEC (44,589) by B from USA
I still think letting the public hear the album with the streaming deal was a smart decision. This album deserves to be heard. YDKWTD and MILG should be sent to urban and aldut contemporary radio stations simultaneously.

Here's a tip (44,561) by B from USA
Listen to this album while buzzed. I did and it's amazing. Seriously.

Hello (44,560) by B from USA
Enjoy the music. I know I do. It's one of the best albums of her career. Stop complaining about this, that, the other because Mariah came through for us, her fans.

Money (44,532) by B from USA
The Hit Boy beat is timeless. It's catchy. It's one of MC's best forays into hip hop. Money, this, that, the other don't mean nothing other than Jets on holidays, chefs with hollandaise, expensive lingerie because I come home to you.
(Friday 6 June 2014; 15:09)
Meteorite (44,530) by B from USA
I think Meteorite has potential. It's catchy and current. Imagine the remixes.

Singles (44,522) by B from USA
Meteorite, YDKWTD, Make It Look Good, Dedicated, Money, and Faded. Meteorite, You Don't Know What To Do, and Make It Look Good are uptempo throwback feel good records. Dedicated, Money, and Faded are tailor made for R&B radio. These should have been the singles along with #Beautiful. I love You're Mine, it's a beautiful ballad with some of her best lyrics in years but ballads haven't been faring to well on radio.

Thanks Mimi (44,521) by B from USA
Thanks for the reply. I would love to hear Mariah and Justin's version of Yours. The album version is so beautiful and I love Justin so I imagine it's a real treasure.

Mimi (44,516) by B from USA
Maybe she was referring to Wale or Fabulous. I remember the JT debates, lol. Does Stevie Wonder sing background vocals on Make It Look Good? It sounds like it to me but it could be Trey Lorenz.

Lyrics (44,499) by B from USA
Lyrics like the Hollywood sign is calling you again make me think she's having problems with Nick. Most of the songs deal with the demise of a relationship. I think the honeymoon phase is over. It's sad because they have children. Part of me hopes they can work it out and another part of me thinks their differences are too vast to be bridged. She's private, he's not. She has class, he doesn't. Maybe it's the age difference. Who knows? I wish her the best. Unless some of these lyrics are about Derek, Luis, and Mark Sudak.

Enwar (44,479) by B from USA
I love Dedicated. I hope it's a future single. Faded is OK.

Calm down (44,478) by B from USA
I love the album. I think it can do well with word of mouth and the right single. You Don't Know What To Do or Make It Look Good would hopefully explode on the radio. Both songs have that summery feel good vibe. By the way, albums don't sell like they used to.

Stephen (44,400) by B from USA
That was a joke. Why don't you like Stay The Night? Just wondering.

Edward, dahling (44,398) by B from USA
You skip Stay The Night? I love that song. Mariah belting over that Kanye beat is perfection.

Mariah (44,385) by B from USA
I thought the NBC special with Matt Layer was excellent. She was articulate, funny, and straightforward. Her performances were excellent as well. This special was a step in the right direction. She needs to perform the next single on Fallon and Ellen, as soon as possible. This album is one of her best. It's been well received by critics and fans alike. It just needs the right promotion. She needs some well executed videos directed by talented directors like Paul Hunter and Brett Ratner. She sang Heavenly, Money, You Don't Know What To Do, We Belong Together. Also the video to You're Mine was played and the YDKWTD performance was from the Concert on the Plaza.

At home and in concert with Matt Lauer (44,370) by B from USA
Watching the special, it reminds me of the video countdown she did in her kitchen while cooking back in 98'. Feeling nostalgic. I love MC. She's the best singer in the world.

MIAM (44,280) by B from USA
Me I am Mariah is a musical masterpiece. I'm loving Dedicated, Make It Look Good, You Don't Know What To Do, and Meteorite. I've already expressed my love for #Beautiful, You're Mine, and Thirsty. Cry, Faded, Supernatural, and Camouflage are vocally driven standouts. She may want to part ways with IDJ but she didn't rush this record. She took her time and made the music she wanted to. I've been a fan since 1995(Daydream). I'm not forcing myself to like the new album, I love it.
