Remaster who? (106,667) by Edward from USA Ever since digital audio remastering became common, the usual approach has been to simply crank up the volume. In some cases, this remastering process can strip away the original feel that some albums once had. If remastering cleans and improves the audio quality, such as in recordings where static noise is prevalent, I'm all for it. However, if it merely increases the volume, I don't see the point. MC doesn't realize the sales power she has releasing various collections from her vast catalogue multiple times each year. Caution picture disc (106,621) by Bobby A from United States I sold my numbered Caution picture disc yesterday for car repairs. Now I am feeling sad about it. I am just kicking myself because I know the rules of selling vinyl to get the most cash, but I didn't follow my own rules this time. I sold some other newer pricey vinyl records together right at closing time. Oh well, it is just a picture disc for the nostalgia and you never get the best sound from a picture disc. Right? Just 1 of my 200 plus MC items in my collection since 1990. Here are six rules for selling your vinyl to get the most cash. Rule #1 - Sealed, Original Master Recordings and import records are worth $$$$$. Rule #2 - Never sell CDs and DVD's with your vinyl records. Selling them with your vinyl records will cause the salesman to lowball you and give you less cash for the vinyl. Rule #3 - Sell numbered picture discs and regular picture discs separately. Rule #4 - Sell classic rock and jazz separately. Classic R&B is only worth $$$$ money if the vinyl record is rare or out of print. Rule #5 - Always have an generic sleeve for the vinyl record and clean with a vinyl cloth whenever you sell. Rule #6 - Check eBay, Discogs, and Amazon before you decide to put a vinyl record in your selling stack to know if the records with give the most cash. (Sunday 9 June 2024; 21:02)

I would've love a collab with Mariah on the original of this song instead of "Yes, and?". Also the video is amazing, I mean stalking the ultimate stalker, Penn Badgley (You and Gossip Girl) and paying homage to Batman/Catwoman universe all in one, iconic. I hope Mariah invests in her music video with concept. I believe at this point MC will never receive radio airplay except at Christmas time. I used to think that a duet with Usher or Chris Brown could get MC back on pop and urban radio. I just want the movie to focus only on the ups and downs of her relationship with Tommy and her recording career at Sony. Save the Glitter movie, mental breakdown and post Glitter career for a major motion picture to fully tell the Mariah Carey story in a 2-hour epic movie. The Lifetime movie should be written to depict MC's fast rise to stardom and her tumultous relationship with Tommy. My idea would be great for young people born in the 2000s to fully understand how MC became Mariah Carey. (Monday 3 June 2024; 04:51)

Caution is probably better than TEOM (106,573) by Bobby A from United States That was my statement after listening to the Caution album and some 2017-2021 voice analysis YouTube videos today. My statement got me thinking after hearing how Lambs in the YouTube comments section just adore Caution. Before Caution, TEOM is a fan favorite post Butterfly. Lambs say that Caution is MC's most critically album and so many just love how MC's musicality just shines on Caution. Fan favorites like Giving Me Life, 8th Grade, and The Distance prove that MC was a bit hard on herself for saying that Caution was rushed. What she produced and delivered was further from the truth what fans would consider a rushed album. How many artists are able to go back and revisit an album track and recreate it into a marvelous world-class dance track? There are not many artists who can or are willing to do that like MC does so effortlessly with her catalogue. It is a great time to be a Lamb. I guess MC won't be able to say that MC16 was rushed. Re-release of #1's on vinyl (106,572) by Bobby A from United States After Sony's last batch of MC's colored vinyl made avaialble in her store, I didn't like the sound quality of those vinyl records. So now I try to buy black vinyl first whenever I can and stay away any colored vinyl variations. Colored vinyl records are usually sold at retailers like Urban Outfitters, Wal-Mart, Target, and Barnes and Nobles as an exclusive to get customers into their stores or onto the website. Colored vinyl has a poor sound quality and does not last as long as black vinyl. Colored vinyl is manufactured below 150g. 150g-180g is the best weight and you tell a difference when you hold the vinyl record in your hand.
