About Bobby A from United States: I have been a Lamb since 1990. I know Mariah. I love her music. I breathe her music.

Yours ft. JT (106,671) by Bobby A from United States

Remaster who? (106,668) by Bobby A from United States
But it is Dolby Atmos though. The best sound technology today.

Rainbow 25 (106,666) by Bobby A from United States
MC was a very confident 30 year old to stand up to Sony. Not too many 30 year old female artists would decide to cut ties with a major company like Sony after unparalled success. I wonder why Tommy gave MC such hard time during the whole Rainbow era. Why was he still mad in 1999 when he granted MC a divorce after hearing Butterfly in 1997? Was he bitter because MC was dating Luis Miguel and working with David Foster? Questions here in Texas waiting for midnight.

Do you think MC will drop the picture disc in her store at midnight?

How Much remix (106,652) by Bobby A from United States
You may be on to something. Sony did not want any R&B hip hop infused songs from Rainbow as singles. Remember the Can't Take That Away From Me/Crybaby battle with Sony. Maybe How Much was going to be the original second single after Heartbreaker and Sony said no and released Thank God I Found You instead.

How Much remix (106,646) by Bobby A from United States
I am wondering that too about How Much. The original already samples Makaveli's (Tupac) Me and My Girlfriend. What more could have been done to make it a remix? Maybe JD and MC sped up the tempo with a new verse from Usher.

Rainbow 25 (106,641) by Bobby A from United States
I like what has been revealed so far, but I am hoping for at least 5 more bonus tracks. What about these rumored tracks recorded for the Rainbow album?

1. After Tonight ft. Miguel
2. Crystal Ball ft. Lauryn Hill
3. Everytime

A Thousand Life Times would be perfect for the Rainbow 25th anniversary.

My top 10 remixes (106,628) by Bobby A from United States
I love your list, Matty. I wish MC would release The Remixes II on CD/vinyl. MC doesn't realize the sales power she has releasing various collections from her vast catalogue multiple times each year. I don't understand why it is not happening more like what P!nk has done in between new album releases. Lambs would buy new releases every time.

Caution picture disc (106,621) by Bobby A from United States
I sold my numbered Caution picture disc yesterday for car repairs. Now I am feeling sad about it. I am just kicking myself because I know the rules of selling vinyl to get the most cash, but I didn't follow my own rules this time. I sold some other newer pricey vinyl records together right at closing time. Oh well, it is just a picture disc for the nostalgia and you never get the best sound from a picture disc. Right? Just 1 of my 200 plus MC items in my collection since 1990. Here are six rules for selling your vinyl to get the most cash.

Rule #1 - Sealed, Original Master Recordings and import records are worth $$$$$.

Rule #2 - Never sell CDs and DVD's with your vinyl records. Selling them with your vinyl records will cause the salesman to lowball you and give you less cash for the vinyl.

Rule #3 - Sell numbered picture discs and regular picture discs separately.

Rule #4 - Sell classic rock and jazz separately. Classic R&B is only worth $$$$ money if the vinyl record is rare or out of print.

Rule #5 - Always have an generic sleeve for the vinyl record and clean with a vinyl cloth whenever you sell.

Rule #6 - Check eBay, Discogs, and Amazon before you decide to put a vinyl record in your selling stack to know if the records with give the most cash.

Charli XCX (106,620) by Bobby A from United States
Her new album Brat is really good. Waterloo Records played it yesterday while I shopped. I was pleasantly surprised how it sounded. It is probably the best pop/dance album this year.

Through The Rain remix (106,612) by Bobby A from United States
No one ever talks about this remix. I love her tone on this remix. When I listen to it, I become so immersed with MC's beautiful tone and how Joe's and Kelly's vocals blend so beautiful with MC's vocals. I always wondered how a Maurice Joshua sped up remix would sound.

Just some Dolly Parton facts (106,607) by Bobby A from United States
Dolly will release album #50 on November 15th. Her last album was released on November 17, 2023. She began her career in 1955. This lady looks like she is 50 years old right now. Dolly does not slow down. Everyone loves Dolly Parton. This last fact really made me laugh. Her own label is called Butterfly Records. How funny is that?

The-Dream (106,601) by Bobby A from United States
I guess MC won't be working with The-Dream anymore after these allegations. I don't understand why music producers like R.Kelly, Sean "Diddy" Combs", and The-Dream allow fame and money to overtake their moral judgement to use and mistreat women in such horrific ways. No heart emoji today.

Made For Me remix (106,598) by Bobby A from United States
Well, the remix has gotten absolutely little to no airplay during the past two weeks. I just don't understand why. I believe at this point MC will never receive radio airplay except at Christmas time. I used to think that a duet with Usher or Chris Brown could get MC back on pop and urban radio. However, now I think that a duet with Usher and Breezy would not be played either.

I don't really know, but I am preducting that MC will release the remix one week before the NYC Pride Festival on June 30th. This way it will have the biggest impact during her home city's Pride Festival.

Lifetime movie idea (106,590) by Bobby A from United States
I have an idea for a Lifetime movie to only focus on the beginning of MC's career through her last album with Sony. I just want the movie to focus only on the ups and downs of her relationship with Tommy and her recording career at Sony. Save the Glitter movie, mental breakdown and post Glitter career for a major motion picture to fully tell the Mariah Carey story in a 2-hour epic movie. The Lifetime movie should be written to depict MC's fast rise to stardom and her tumultous relationship with Tommy. My idea would be great for young people born in the 2000s to fully understand how MC became Mariah Carey.

X-Girlfriend (106,589) by Bobby A from United States
Kandi Buruss revealed during a Club Shay Shay interview (2023) that she and MC wrote X-Girlfriend over the phone. MC opted to record Rainbow in Capri, Italy and Kandi and Kevin "She'kspere" Briggs could not join her there. I did not know that is how X-Girlfriend was created.

Caution is probably better than TEOM (106,573) by Bobby A from United States
That was my statement after listening to the Caution album and some 2017-2021 voice analysis YouTube videos today. My statement got me thinking after hearing how Lambs in the YouTube comments section just adore Caution. Before Caution, TEOM is a fan favorite post Butterfly. Lambs say that Caution is MC's most critically album and so many just love how MC's musicality just shines on Caution. Fan favorites like Giving Me Life, 8th Grade, and The Distance prove that MC was a bit hard on herself for saying that Caution was rushed. What she produced and delivered was further from the truth what fans would consider a rushed album. How many artists are able to go back and revisit an album track and recreate it into a marvelous world-class dance track? There are not many artists who can or are willing to do that like MC does so effortlessly with her catalogue. It is a great time to be a Lamb. I guess MC won't be able to say that MC16 was rushed. Lol. I am going to put down Mariah book until next weekend. Lol.

Re-release of #1's on vinyl (106,572) by Bobby A from United States
After Sony's last batch of MC's colored vinyl made avaialble in her store, I didn't like the sound quality of those vinyl records. So now I try to buy black vinyl first whenever I can and stay away any colored vinyl variations. Colored vinyl records are usually sold at retailers like Urban Outfitters, Wal-Mart, Target, and Barnes and Nobles as an exclusive to get customers into their stores or onto the website. Colored vinyl has a poor sound quality and does not last as long as black vinyl. Colored vinyl is manufactured below 150g. 150g-180g is the best weight and you tell a difference when you hold the vinyl record in your hand.

Finished Rainbow song is coming (106,569) by Bobby A from United States
MC just posted a snippet on X today. Ooh wee y'all. Her vocals and Mary's, Trey's and Charlotte's background vocals are really good. It is on the way like I said it was in June along with Pride merchandise. I have my insider source in NYC. Lol. Check it out.
