Weather (80,100) by Tyler from USA So it's supposed to be 9-15 degrees Fahrenheit on Sunday night. Does anyone know if her performance will be pre-taped or performed inside. Singing live in the cold with heavy winds is difficult for any singer. I know MC prefers warmer conditions and I remember the Beacon/Cesar palace basically being saunas. I spoke to a friend who's a TV director and basically said there's no way to heat an open stage. I'm not already making excuses for her but this a concern going into it. Setlist (80,036) by Tyler from USA I still can't even know what to say. My emotions are all over the place with the NYE news. This has to be a perfect performance with attitude and live vocals. I always think "It's like that" is always a great opener. The "I came to have a party opener and leaving it all behind" is perfect. Next she should bring Jay-Z our for Heartbreaker. Can you imagine the hype? Lastly, she should do a uplifting gospel moment. I think Make It Happen would be epic with a choir. This is legit a Super Bowl size performance with regards to the publicity. What do you guys think she should sing? (Saturday 23 December 2017; 18:13)

Less is more - AIWFCIY (79,577) by Tyler from USA Looks like AIWFCY is doing extremely and we just finished Thanksgiving. Hitting the top 15 on both iTunes and Spotify this early on is amazing. Usually this time of the year MC is promoting like crazy and she's virtually everywhere you go. Last year was Andy Cohen, Kelly Rippa, the DJ Khalid skit to name a few. As of now there aren't any planned appearances and MC has virtually disappeared off the earth yet the song is doing better than ever. It goes to show you than maybe less promotion is better and that all promotion isn't good promotion. Laying low and letting your music speak could be the best option for the next album. Also, her live band has sounded awesome since he joined as the musical director. I keep saying Mariah needs to add live music on her albums. The reason TEOM was so great was the production of live music rather than produce beats. The thought of not having another Circles, FLAB, MA,Cry, Camouflage is depressing. Please MC keep Big Jam. Scared for life (78,502) by Tyler from USA I really think the tree lighting and NYE performances have ruined her chances to feel comfortable on TV. She is super insecure and I can only imagine the toll those two events did to her confidence. She looked so nervous at the VH1 Hip Hop awards and I wanted to just give her the biggest hug. She literally has the world critiquing every little thing she does. Not just causal viewers but even fans are sitting her waiting for her to mess up to throw it in her face. Can you imagine having all that pressure plus recently being ridiculed by the world over NYE and a recent YouTube dance video? Yes, she could've moved more but I think those passed experience have ruined her ability to take chances and break out on tv and even live. I honestly think she didn't move because she was so nervous to mess up. If she started dancing and was off beat people would run with that. She can't win and it's very sad. She is to blame but I really think the generally public does not want to see her succeed and she knows that. I can not imagine having all that negative weight and going on stage with confident. Using MC name (76,608) by Tyler from USA I don't care what people say regarding MC being irrelevant but she still draws headlines. This is exactly what this little movie is doing. Why are they keep bringing it up if she isn't even in the movie? Yes, Will Farrell didn't go into details but he could of also requested the interviewer not to bring it up. We don't know the full story but we do know they are putting her down to lift buzz around this movie. Nobody is checking for this movie and most prob haven't even heard of it until MC was brought into conversations. Besides certain social media post she's virtually been away from the spot light yet find things to hate on her daily. The women is running errands and we call her fat and tacky. This board is just older fans who followed MC in the 90's and in my opinion not a true reflection of her fan base. No one searches websites anymore and the majority of her fans interact through social media. I've learned to get my news from this site and move along as it's depressing. Celine Dion performance (76,048) by Tyler from USA I love me some Celine Dion and have been told numerous times to watch the Billboard performance. I know I'm super late on this but am I missing something? How in the hell did anyone not know she lipped the entire thing? If Mimi would have done this on a TV production it would of been stoning. Re: Daydream (75,770) (75,772) by Tyler from USA Daydream is a snooze I'm sorry. The only songs I listen to are UTS, IAF and Long Ago. Her voice is just so light, high pitched and honestly too perfect. I think there is a lack of soul and emotion in this album. The soul of the Emotion and TEOM trumps Daydream any day. Heck even Music Box had more soulful songs (Everything Fades Away/Never Forget You). Daydream is just a pretty album in my opinion with pop songs. So ironic that Mariah's best vocal period had the biggest disconnect for me emotionally. (Friday 26 May 2017; 15:48)

Poor ticket sales (75,347) by Tyler from USA I can believe the tickets sales are poor for the "All the hits" tour. I think these two together is a horrible combination. The fan bases are drastically different. I am 29 and cannot name one of his songs and have no desire to hear him. I've spoke to other fans who feel the same about his music with all due respect. I will probably leave after MC. Since this isn't MC tour she will stick to the same list we've heard for over 20 years (ABMB, My ALL, Hero). She can't get too risky and sing album cut songs when half the audience isn't her fanbase. John Legend is on tour and that would of been so much better. Streaming with new album (74,955) by Tyler from USA This will be the first time Mimi will release an album with the new streaming rules with Billboard. With this being said, I think the album will do well on the charts. No matter what people's personal opinions of her are, many will still want to hear the album. They may not buy but will def stream. MIOM didn't reflect streaming efforts and had minimal promotions. I always say Mimi has the most diverse range of fans. At a Mimi concert your'll see gay, straight, grown adults, teens and all races. I honestly don't know of another artist with a more diverse fan base. She just needs a killer album that will create buzz and the grace she had during TEOM. (Wednesday 3 May 2017; 22:44)

I have no idea how "Boy" made the cut over "Miss you". This is a club banger. The chorus is amazing and the song goes so hard. The emotion in her voice paired with that beat is Mariah at her best. Mariah finally realizing she needs a breaks and the record label is harassing her to work. Just like 2001, Mariah release a audio recording publicly asking for privacy and rest. The voice message was literally a cry for help. There's way too many similaritie to what's going on now. If Stella's blocking the label so she can rest then I applaud her.
