Watch Dreamlover from Caution world tour, she even gave us some extra notes. Just because your ears are still living in 96 doesn't mean the girl can't sing. People who actually goes [sic] to her shows are singing a different tune. Mariah is improving with every tour. She sang during her Christmas shows and slayed MSG last Christmas.

Thank you Gee, I have been saying that for years. I believe he needs a hug or something. I have never meet a fan so negative towards the person they claim to love. Mariah is still doing it. Her breathy vocals, low notes, mid notes, falsetto and her whistle register are on fire. And she can still reach those high notes.
Who cares about those belting high notes. Caution was and is everything. It outsold Kesha and Meghan Trainor new albums in pure sales. Some of you guys always love to disrespect Mariah. I'm sick of fans

Re: Superbowl Halftime Show (92,726) (92,729) by We are Lambily from USA
She actually does have that type of catalogue. So many uptempo songs, so many remixes and so many classic uplifting ballads to bring the country closer. A Super Bowl with Mariah ft Celine would be the most boring show ever. Mariah has enough star power and enough rapper friends to join her for the halftime.

Re: Roc Nation (92,716) (92,723) by We are Lambily from USA
Mariah would slay Super Bowl.
1. She is a household name (she brought 25+ millions viewers to NYE).
2. She has the catalogue.
3. If they let Justin Timberlake and Maroon 5 do it, then Mariah deserves a chance as well since theirs was literally the worst.
4. Mariah has done halftimes before and she killed it.
5. Aside from Michael Jackson, nobody comes close to her superstar status of all the people who have done it.
6. Imagine all the guests she could have.

Re: Hip pop (92,690) (92,696) by We are Lambily from USA
Bill, who cares? That's the music she likes the most. As Mariah said she hardly ever listens to pop. It has become trashy. Rnb and hip hop is where her heart truly is.

Re: Ariana Grande (92,646) (92,648) by We are Lambily from USA
I hope so too, the media tried to do the same thing with Mariah and Whitney. But the girls met and they fell in love with each other. Ariana loves Mariah and Mariah acknowledged her, now they just have to meet and hopefully work together. Imagine the harmonies, the whistles at the end, the vocals, the hot video. It can end with Mariah wearing a crown and giving Ariana another one. So "the next Mariah" debacle ends. But it just a thought. I would rather have a uptempo then a ballad.

Mariah will never be able to recreate the magic she had with Whitney with anyone else. So switch up the gears or do whatever the ladies want. But her manager (forgot his name) has her in his control. That's why she couldn't support her friend through all this, but hopefully she cheered her up when the public and everyone else wasn't watching.

Re: Mariah (92,596) (92,603) by We are Lambily from USA
I was thinking about Mariahs memoir, she won't be able to share everything since "the powers to be" won't like that. For her own sake and dem kids. Just look at Michael Jackson case, he has been exposing the industry since forever and they killed him. He even told his family members how they were gonna kill him over and over again. They wanna erase him with this bullshit pedofile story. Mariah always says I can't say that or this. She is lowkey afraid for own life and it's the smart thing to do.

Mariah (92,596) by We are Lambily from USA
Every time I hear this generation vocalists sing a Mariah Carey song just proves to me how talented Mariah still is. Demi Lovato is the latest victim. She sang My All, and it was one of the worst performances she has given. All the haters like to comment how Mariah vocals has declined every chance they get. But Caution proved to me she is still leaps ahead of the young girls in terms of musicianship and vocals.

Re: Grammys (92,552) (92,558) by We are Lambily from USA
Too busy now with school stuff to respond to the other post. Read the articles about Deborah Dugan, she is having a nasty fight with a major company/industry with the mass media backing them. She was the former head of the Grammys with more knowledge than you miss. I trust everything the media says or doesn't say. More will unravel unless she gets the right amount of money and she retract [sic] her story. The Mariah part can't be found yet, but I follow reliable Mariah sources on Instagram/Twitter and some have never posted something false before. I will check the story when I have time until then it just confirms what a lot of people have been saying. The Academy's voters are mostly [made by] white men who don't represent the vast majority of everyone else. The ratings will drop more and more until they fix that. We make the media a lot of money since everybody reads about it the next day. Then they are forgotten for a year until the weeks of nominations. Can't wait for that trash show to get cancelled. They have always been biased against Mariah. I don't even think anymore Madonna wanted to start the show 2006, they made her and she didn't refuse (obviously). I can't wait for them to meet so they can hash something's out and work together. But Madonna is still a industry puppet unlike Mariah. Read this article for those who have always wondered about the Grammys shady business, such a great article. I hope no one watches this years Grammy. Ariana Grande will perform even though they snubbed her this year, she can change everything by breaking her contract and standing up for women but money speaks louder for most people until they get tired and they speak out. But most people know what happens after then. Operation let's tarnish this person reputation in order for us to believe whatever lie the machine puts in front of us unless you get killed. We are done with the lies.

Re: Butterfly (92,538) (92,545) by We are Lambily from USA
Andrew, I couldn't care less of what you read. Your views on Mariah these past years says a lot of you as a person (for a so called fan). The fact that the greatest singer songwriter producer in the world says that's the album she is most proud of speaks volumes.

Most people here fell in love with a [sic] image that's not Mariah, she [sic] still as talented as she started, her album is musically better than every album of the year. Mariah won't sell until she travels around the world and change [sic] people's views on her since worldwide media usually only report the bad stuff. (It sells more.) The fact that Mariah sings circles around Adele even today, Untied Kingdom most successful artist today, always makes me laugh and smile. Erase her past and judge her on today's vocals alone and she is still one of the most talented vocalists ever. Caution lacked belting notes (which I don't really care for). That's not just what made me a fan.

Grammys (92,543) by We are Lambily from USA
Wow, this brave woman came out in a [sic] industry so dark and said what we all have been saying for years. Justice for Caution.

Re: Butterfly (92,528) (92,534) by We are Lambily from USA
There is a reason why Mariah find [sic] her most personal album and its [sic] her most cohesive body of work. As the critics, most lambs and music fans love to call it her magnum opus. That album is Mariah on the flesh, Tommy basically controlled Mariahs [sic] sound even though he gave her artistic freedom. Mariah has always loved r&b and hip hop more than pop and that's what most lambs. (No offence mostly older lambs don't seem to get.) The lambs who love pre 96 music love a image/sound Mariah so desperately tried to go from. That's why most people were shocked when came out. But that was the real Mariah all along. I don't wanna hear music Mariah in a way was directed "forced" to make that much even if it's greatness as well which is why I connect with the music after Tommy era more. Because she wanted to be heard. But you are right next album has to be a [sic] uptempo/fun one.
She needs to do Spanish remixes, dance remixes. I feel like Mariah the artist spark is back, and trust and believe her vocals will be 100 times better than Caution. It's still there but she finally found her confidence back and it showed on Caution world tour and her Christmas shows. I'm so hopeful for the future. Mariah is not dumb, she knows the artists that's topping the charts and I don't know why she doesn't use them "Harsh but truth." She has way to much musical integrity. I really want her to beat The Beatles. They ain't got nothing on our girl.

Re: Mariah (92,459) (92,460) by We are Lambily from USA
Butterfly is my favourite album, so you can keep your offence. Caution is the perfect album for this decade and if Mariah had the same machine behind her as in the 90s, it would do just as good.

Her songwriting is just as good. There is no skips in the album. Can't say the same for her early albums. If I was a yes-yes bleating lamb I wouldn't criticise those albums. But I keep all those opinions to myself and enjoy her good stuff. Daydream, Butterfly, Charmbracelet, MIAM, Caution, TEOM and Memoirs are my favourite albums.

Re: Mariah (92,450) (92,457) by We are Lambily from USA
GTFO is a fun song, nobody said Mariah has to make serious music 24/7. As she said it was a firecracker and honestly a song she needed to write in order to express how she felt with certain people in her life. Music is art and art should reflect life. So in that case GTFO was the most perfect song describing how Mariah felt at the time. The fact that is Mariah most critically acclaimed album says a lot, her songwriting was just as good as ever.

Re: Mariah (92,445) (92,447) by We are Lambily from USA
Bill, songwriting abilities is not just measured by success, most of Mariah's greatest songs didn't even sell and I don't care if they were a single or not. Just like how people try to diminish artists without a Grammy. Awards and hits ain't everything. It's about connecting. And her 400 million streams on her new album proves that so your opinion is invalid.

Imagining living in a world where you think Celine Dion has anything on Mariah. I have to laugh. Oh I'm sorry her lip syncing skills are so much better. Mariah is one of the world's greatest singer-songwriter-producers in the world. A true artist. Celine is a great singer. That's it.

Lol, I hate when fans can't enjoy a new song just because of the fact that it resembles another song. Here is a beautiful quote from Mariah. "Sometimes critics get a little bit cynical 'oh it sounds like this oh it sounds like that' and yes it does have that, I wrote both of those songs, I have a style of writing."

Once again here goes men complaining about how a grown women choose to dress. The dress was beautiful, Mariah looked so good and happy.

I once saw another male lamb complain and looked into his account and honestly 70% of his pics were of his non existing abs.

Andrew, heterosexual and bisexual people (me) love to see them. Deal with it, seek counsel.

Re: Mariah (92,328) (92,344) by We are Lambily from USA
I honestly thought her lead song was cute, her music is not my cup of tea. But I admire the type of women she is, she been through a lot and I love survivors. But a lot of lambs laugh/criticise at Mariah pure sales when in fact the biggest superstars don't sell that much better. The younger generation don't buy music (rarely they do) and the older generation don't stream (rarely they do). Mariah needs to cater to the younger audience more, a [sic] album for grown people (even though many young lambs love it).

She sold more than around 7-8 thousands than Mariah. Sorry. And I [sic] been listening for hours now, it's Mariah's new team biggest mistake not including it. Such a [sic] inspiring song.

It's crazy that one of music biggest stars (Selena Gomes) today sold less than 10 thousands than what Caution sold in pure sales. Even though she had a #1 hit. I honestly couldn't care about sales as I'm listening now. Whatever Mariah has to offer, I'm buying.

Re: The memoir (92,284) (92,307) by We are Lambily from USA
A person upbringing is essential to a true artist artistry. Most artists have been through a lot and that's why we connect with them. People like Dua Lipa and most pop artists just makes us happy. But a lot of us go through stuff. Life is a bitch. A lot of you have cute ideas about her going into detail of her albums and songs, she may do that to few songs.

But a memoir is a biography in its true nature. I wanna know everything, she won't be able to give us all the tea since the powers to be won't allow that. But I truly hope she is as transparent with her memoir as she has been with her music throughout the years.
