Say Something remixes (83,338) by Gilles from Malta As we are talking about I Still Believe remixes (which are really good), I must say that Say Somethin' remixes So So Def and Morales were excellent as well. Triumphant as well. Can't Take That Away, My All, The Roof Mobb Deep remix, Don't Forget About Us remixes. Anyway there are plenty of excellent remixes that's why they did a double album named the remixes. I like to name this time the MC golden age. Bored about the tour, eager for the next album (83,019) by Gilles from Malta Don't get me wrong I love Mariah but honestly I get bored to see her on tour with the same old songs, sung the same kind of way (no creativity for years, the last show that I loved was the Philharmonic concert in NYC when she was injured (Looking In)). If you are a fan for long, you have the feeling she is making always the same kind of show on repeat. Anyway I saw her in the past, Daydream tour, Butterfly tour, Charmbracelet, once in Australia and her first Christmas show. When I watch new videos online I am not excited and worst I feel disappointed because the songs should be arranged. On the other hand I understand her voice and I wait for a new album, maybe I'll be surprised. She should perform like Beyoncé (no old repertoire only new one and one or two songs fromher past albums). I feel like something new. I am bored. (Sunday 8 July 2018; 10:25)

Happy New Year everybody (80,187) by Gilles from Malta Happy New year and all the best. She did it again. Bravo what a nice and honest performance, not too fancy but with lead vocals only. I really loved the way she introduced Hero by saying those words "Let's try to make a better world and more united planet, because you are true heroes." That makes a lot difference. Some are made to sing only, some are made to write for the others and some are made to create and sing their own songs. For example Whitney Houston, Barbara, Céline Dion and many others are just singers (incredible singers even if they did or do try for some to write their own songs, mostly they don't or didn't). Anyway, nowadays there are more singers than [m]usicians who sings their own songs. That's why Mariah is still on [t]op. Sometimes it happens to me to compare Mariah to Freddie Mercury regarding creativity, voice and way to be or even Sir Elton John (but regarding Elton he plays piano as well so he has a plus). Anyway comparing doesn't really make sens, it is more about who is a full artist or just a talented person to interpret songs that has been written for them. Have a nice [w]eekend [g]uy[s]. Stories scandal and trend (79,371) by Gilles from Malta From what we can observe it is good to be just comfortable and not being rich, famous and being a popular artist with longevity, I hope those stories won't go far like it did happen to Michael Jackson. I know people with the same issues, I mean trust in people, the questions in their mind is always, hello who are you and inside it is "why are you around". It is not being naive but believe that you can trust in someone who sometimes are coming around not by coincidence (snakes as some are saying) and some are just friendly and you try to give a chance. Anyway stories are stories, scandal regarding sexual harassment came out this last month and suddenly there are waves, it came a trend (alert scandal, shall we talk about the Vatican through a thousand of years). MC dressed "négligé" I would answer it has been her world since she left Sony. (Let's invent a story, Mariah has been married to Trey Lorenz for a long time now, Trey was steril and asked Nick for a service. All the rest is a made up story to excite us in order to make audience.) No one owns the truth only the people who plays with. Did you know that most of entertainment media gossip etc are financed and supported by the porn industry ? Anyway, let's just don't spread and talk about it like TMZ or Page Six does, don't believe everything you read. Just be quiet and don't spread it on the web. I was one those people who make report about brand people and subject and privacy doesn't exist online, Mariah is certainly very mainstream. Don't make it worst. Mariah loves this cartoon. I do think about the same theory. Anyway when you are an artist in this business, you have to please everybody and to make money, so they squeeze you like an orange and when you do not produce any juice (the substance, very Spinoza) they destroy you and you destroy yourself (artist complex?). At the beginning Mariah was non stop producing, writing, performing, interview, studio, tour, new album every year and so on. The substance is still there but I am not in her shoes so I can not say anything but If I were her I would take a huge break, enjoy family, studio holiday, media break, social media break, she is a go getter so I am not affraid she will always be back, regarding the image I stoped paying attention, they destroyed Michael Jackson's image and others artist as well. I just listen the talent, the music and the writing. One Child is wow (sorry I do not have any words for It, because it is (for me) perfection, music, lyrics, choir, producing). Re: Mariah on tour (79,032) (79,042) by Gilles from Malta I do remember very well the Charmbracelet Tour in Paris, it was a colourful show. I loved it, she was a bit late as well but I can not remember how late she was. Her voice was just amazing, and I loved so many songs from this event as the band intro (fantastic first time I heard an interomptu, Bringin'on the Heartbreak (the end with guitar solo and the chorus just made it more powerful and soul), subtle invitation, vision of Love, Hero, My Saving Grace, Heartbreaker In The Crown. The show was really well down and the song Clown was one of my fav. At this time Internet was not that big in France (it was but we didn't have a lot of media on the web spreading the news) and we didn't have a lot of information about how the show will be, so everything was a big surprise. A DVD or an official download of this concert would be wow and pow because it was fantastic and she was very energitic. Thank you for sharing this moment again. Love you. Correcting my first comment aboutt the Star (78,933) by Gilles from Malta Ok I just have to give an advise regarding my first listening, do not make like I did, I mean by using crappy headset it will spoil the whole song. So regarding the song it is a nice song, I have just some difficulties with the children choir "follow your heart it is Christmas" but once again it will perfectly fit with the animated movie made for children and the family. Don't you think there is something in the music that reminds the 90's and the 2000's, like "The greatest of love mix" with "Where are you Christmas"? Enjoy your weekend guys. Unforgettable remix acoustic (78,102) by Gilles from Malta I was very happy to listen at it on SPotify this morning. It is interesting this echo and surround studio effect that it brings, it gives a different dimension to the song. Mariah's World and Lionel Richert opening (69,914) by Gilles from Malta My personal review regarding Mariah's world. I must say that I do enjoy watching the show, I am not really familiar with American reality shows, so I do not really like the loop on repeat about what everything is happening in the episode, it is a filling but how annoying. Have you noticed guys that Trey Lorenz is not in the show? And we all know how close MC is with him, anyway he might stay away or appeared a bit later dunno. On the other side Lionel Richie concert is a big plus to conquer an older audience, smart marketing move. On the other hand, There are so many singers covering "All I want for Christmas is you" now a day that it is a bit weird and some singers yuk, they just don't do it right. Randy (68,718) by Gilles from Malta I do agree with you Randy as well, you did remind me a feeling that I had back in day in 1996 when I was to the Daydream tour in Paris. This feeling was like what happened with her album named Butterfly. I didn't get what happened to her voice. Daydream was filled with a powerful voice and the first time I heard at the radio Honey, I was like... is it really her singing this track, it was like not the same voice anymore. For sure something did happen, we all know that she left Tommy, went through a divorce and a lot of drama and stress, we will certainly never really know what happened, but we can guess it through her art cause she kind of refused to answer to all those questions that are certainly too private. A lot of conspiracy theories were born from those days. Her image had changed and she looked current and sexy more than ever, she was more praised for her body and the fun than her way to make music, she battled in a certain way on the two sides, but people liked to treat her as a diva, media and people treat her this way and she has become one, it is a kind of picture, an icon or as certain philosophers would say an imago dei or in the Indian culture an avatar because that was what the main audience kind of wanted. Now that she is acting or not as one, everybody is asking for her to come back to what she was. Marylin Monroe life style means not be understood by anyone. Live on TV doesn't make a lot of sense anymore now a day, because it is mixed and arranged to deliver a certain quality, I do agree with you that I would love that Mariah does something new adapted to her current voice but would the people follow her this way or would they criticize the new picture with her successful past? Regarding her job and ours I do agree that we haven't the right to do any mistake, but we have a job that can not be compared to her, it is like some professionals sportive taking steroids or drugs to reach number one position, people are cheating it is not new after it depends which partnership, sponsors and other stuff but it is another subject. Mariah is a myth between the Greek and the Egyptian mythology and she is now a true legend. But as many of those myths, stories or whatever, sometimes the illusion is too intense for being taken seriously and create frustration, love, anger, obsession, adoration, disciples, stories. In my case I would say that I do enjoy everything that is new depending even if I do or not like it (for example I am not a fan of Infinity, Touch My Body) but I do appreciate them as a new work and material. I do regret one thing, I grew up with Mariah's voice and lyrics and music, it did follow my journey in the circle of life, I am a bit out of it now, because I am lucky and happy, I've found love, Mariah gave me her support in my drama past life and I will always be grateful to her, I hope that one day the drama will stop for her and for other people as well for being inspired in another way. If we want to keep Mariah in the business for long we fans, lambs or whatever, we have to understand that she needs to lipp to keep her voice in a good shape. She feeds us a lot thanks to medias, social medias, world tour, albums, tv appareances, Christmas concert, Christmas TV show and I am sure that we "fans" are certainly more demanding than her. Ok it is her job, but I do not think as an artist that she wants to damage her voice (gift, talent) to satisfy all of us, she needs to protect it, because she won't even be able to live without her gift. If we all wait for the voice crack it means that she has never left "[...]", are we worse than Mottola? Regarding her life style, Mariah in her childhood had nothing, the materialistic experience came at her 21. She is in that world for a long time now. Regarding her own world, I would not like to be in, material world is a display and it is thanks to her children family and entourage that she keeps grounded or not, I am pretty sure that sometimes she just dreams to fly away. Celebrity comes with a price that is not about money but no privacy and "we watch her falling down" so she learns the art of letting go, it is what it is. Everything happens for a reason and she knows that. I know Mariah the artist side but I do not know her, judging is so easy. I am one of those lucky fans who was to 4 concerts. It was magical, the voice always been there, interlude, interromptu, sometimes it did switch to lipp, so what? First I was like most of us, saying it is unfair, but it is fair for the artist. She is a singer, she will remain as a singer. If she is recording in studio her voice must keep warm and not too much used. And regarding some songs, we know that a song is a mood and as she is an artist, it can happen that she doesn't feel in the mood. Sometimes she is in the mood when the Grigio flows, I know some artists that can only be creative high or drunk or in their own world. Let's not talk please about all those singers, painter, philosophers that made earth cry jump with their songs or their art because I do not want to talk about them but there are so many. It is pleasant to watch some of the new generation discovering Mariah through the time, they are discovering an artist that they didn't really know with plenty of lives performance, remixes, side B, there are amazed with a spark in their eyes. Older fans like me we are waiting for something new stuff every months even every days (joking but close to the reality). Let's be more comprehensive and supportive. Whatever the situation, MC is that singer that one day opened your heart more than ever and we felt a connection, some people call it love. Anyway we could write a novel about it. Merry Christmas 2 You (68,370) by Gilles from Malta I love this album so much. My people here prefer this album than the first one. I think because on "Merry Christmas" there are more US popular Christmas songs and on Merry Christmas 2 You there are more European popular Christmas songs. On Both we have "All I Want for Christmas is you" and "Holy night". On the other hand Merry Christmas made in 1994 is more considered as a pop Crhsitmas album that's why it did flop in 1994 and didn't get a lot of intention and on the other side "Merry Christmas 2 you" is a classical album out in 2010 (orchestra talking). Regarding my opinion, both albums are nice and are about two different time or area, almost 20 years. I do remember when "All I want for Christmas is you" was out on TV, I was excited but for my parents and my grandparents it was too pop and not enough traditional (traditional catholic Chrsitmas songs in French at this time of my life, no pop, only traditional and classical songs) and after almost all those years it came the Christmas hit and the Christmas song the most played in all the world. Hey hey it is funny how time can change things. Anyway I would not name Merry Christmas to you a mistake but a way to keep Mariah the Queen of Christmas by turning the first record as a classical record and to make some excellent music additions. Opinon regarding look "my body" (68,275) by Gilles from Malta This opinion has just come like a spark in my head, I am not a real big fan of her new look but showbiz is showbiz. I love when she is sexy glamourous and keeping a classy look. So the pink bodysuit and the pink boots remind me the look of the main actress in the 5th Element from Luc Besson. We have to admit for MC's next album or photoshoot nobody will be able to say that she abused of photoshop. She is really making like a drastic diet. Regarding Mariah's World, I am not sure that I am going to learn anything new about MC and her sense of humor or temper or about her artist' side. I did watch so many interviews that already made me laugh about the way that she express herself in a diva way or recording an album. Regarding her private life, I do not think we know anything about it. To be real and regarding my own experience not everyone around me knows my private life, so I do not think Mariah will confess and be 100% real but she will show us only a perspective of her life that is certainly a made up and a kind of illusion but we'll be happy to watch new footages as always. And I keep in mind that she has the video rights in her hands. Anyway regarding her voice, sometimes I am speechless, sometimes upset and feel like HATE U (having a typical emotional upset) but she must feel the same. Anyway when you are a fan for a long time you stay a fan and I will follow her (it doesn"t mean if she jumps I will jump too but I will always support her art). Love you everyone. Because this song is so extremely pow for me, if you really want something you can make it happen, one of the biggest anthems in my opinion better than Hero.
