Mariah's World (65,102) by George Golden from UK Mariah wants to sell her personality now, not her music. I am sorry guys but Mariah's World looks like a bad idea. The fact that she is trying to tell the world that she is not crazy but looking crazy in the process is just ridiculous. All this does not matter if she releases a smash album, but will she? I fell in love with Mariah because of her music not the other way around. Songs like Meteorite show that if she experiments with sound she will come out with a killer album, still she wants to keep making "We belong together" sequels. Rent a rapper is overdone by her it's just madness at this point. YouTube views make a hit these days and still she wants to come up [with] mediocre videos that she has done over and over again. She won't her a hit again if she remains on this road and don't get me started on those instagram posts. I like the ones with her kids but the ones with that thirteen year old is just creepy. Don't get me wrong she is a beautiful woman, it's just the sexiness just seemed too forced. Everything now is about ensembles, camera angles, tacky pics. It's just too much now. The music has taken a back seat. What do we need to see in Mariah's World that we don't know already? She has seriously lost the plot and she will be the last person to know. Hanging out with a thirteen year old, just gross. Maybe she should be more private and not show this side of hers to us. I am here for the music and always have. The music is suffering because she has refused to move on from 2005. I am not looking forward to new music because I know it will be more of the same old tried and tested. Rihanna is gaining on surpassing her record. I wonder how she will feel about that and don't dare tell me that she doesn't care. I became a fan because of her music, not her body. #Beautifull would have made number one but because of the video that was trying too hard to be sexy it became too awkward to watch. We need an album for early 2017. A killer album like her best album Daydream. Big ballads, big uptempo, no predictable midtempos, great promo. We can only hope (61,230) by George Golden from UK Will Mariah ever learn? We can only hope. She has cast a shadow over her music with her ''celebrity". I miss the days when the music spoke for itself and the music was centre stage and not the artist. Her music is suffering because of her inability to change her sound. She was effortless in the early days. She needs to get serious and come up with a classy pop and rnb album. I have never favoured her hip hop infusion. It was cute for a moment but now it's just an overkill at this point. Mariah is beautiful but her always putting the sexiness before the music is another problem.
