The rap collaboration is putting a lot of people off. She tries too hard. It has been become redundant and repetitive. Let's be honest with ourselves. It's not okay for us to say oh the album was great when evidently she is not experimenting with her music. So many wasted opportunities these past 8 years. It's like she is loosing her fire. No matter how great you think her album and singles are, if it's not current and fresh she will continue to loose listeners. She needs to break mold and come up with something explosive. After Butterfly, her sound changed and since then it has remained the same. If she releases a big uptempo song this minute with a fresh sound, do you think that radio will not eat it up? Uturn (60,211) by George Golden from UK If only Mariah could make a song like ''Kiss me" by Olly Murs how won't she get a number one with a killer video? Seriously it's the material that has been weak. Her reluctance to change her style of music has locked her in a box. She needs to up her game, I believe she can still get more hits if she is serious. More sexy and classy videos, I said the word ''classy'' not "trashy''. She missed the chance with Infinity. What a let down to see that song on the same cd as her number ones. How bad was that song? And the video? She needs to decide if she wants to continue on that downward spiral or make a turn. We are not saying release a ballad we mean we need a serious hit that will hit hard that even if you don't like Mariah you will be grooving to the beat. Oh how I wish I could be her manager lol. She seriously need to step away from that kind of music that has infected her productivity like a virus. All that trying to be hood has past its sell by date. Just saying. Someone (60,076) by George Golden from UK Mariah has to wake up now. Someone is coming for her crown. Please let's not deceive ourselves that it doesn't matter. It matters very much so. Think about it the when Mariah scored her 18th number one this person only had one. We need a hit song. I mean a hit song that does not need Mariah's name to be number one, but it just has to be. Please no more midtempos, We Belong Together sequels, tacky awkward videos, rap, lazy promotion, lengthy audio and video release gaps. A big uptempo number would be amazing. Anyway here's hoping. Not a good look (59,884) by George Golden from UK So according to Billboard Rihanna will go to number one. I can't believe this is happening. She is catching up real fast. I don't care what anybody says here, it won't be good if Rihanna surpasses Mariah. They are so going to rub it in her face and I think that is the plan. Not a good look. It's just strange that someone like Rihanna would surpass Mariah. Radio eats up anything she releases without any promotion. It's funny how she was a good artist with catchy songs but after her domestic abuse she was put on a sympathy train where she could do no wrong. Now anything she releases goes to number one. Chris Brown hasn't had a number since then. Lol. After TMB Mariah just relaxed and became comfortable and started releasing whatever she liked. Putting out the wrong single over and over again. Same formular, same rent a rapper records, same cringy videos. It has all been a mess. Now look at what is happening now. The last time Mariah had a number one single Rihanna only had only one. Rihanna (59,480) by George Golden from UK See this is what I keep saying. Rihanna s new song is fire. I am a Rihanna lover/hater because of Mariah. Rihanna has a very limited voice but boy does she know how to pick a hit. Forget about the album going platinum because we all know why. But the thing is she has potential number one songs coming it's scary. She knows she is close to overtaking Mariah so she is really hungry and thirsty for that crown. I understand Mariah is enjoying her new life and love, but she should not forget about the music. The music is suffering so bad. She should come up with something fresh and uptempo for a first release. A fresh new sound and maybe a 70s disco kind of feel. Enough with all those outdated bouncy shake it off kind of sounds. Reinvention (58,813) by George Golden from UK The problem is the predictability of every thing Mariah does now it's just frustrating. Tacky videos, mediocre lead singles, hip hop collaborations that have been beaten to death, shaky live performances the list goes on. On the flip side she is looking really good with James. She always looked old standing by Nick. She is definitely looking really classy now. With Nick she was trying too hard to look twenty something. She needs to do something different and reinvent her style. Big disco numbers and big pop ballads would be refreshing. Just saying. Please no more rappers. (Friday 1 January 2016; 15:07)

Comfort zone (57,881) by George Golden from UK If only Mariah can leave hip hop behind and have a total reinvention it would be amazing. Her time is far from over its just that people are tired of the same old. Big uptempo and big ballads even a ballad/disco number would be amazing. A song that starts off as ballad and becomes a banger in the middle till the end. There's so many things she can try. She just needs to get out her comfort zone. PS. Remix (56,056) by George Golden from UK Mariah's new remix is just bad. I don't understand why she would think it is any good. The "rent a rapper " formula was created by Mariah and she will not let it go until the rappers start declining to work with her. It's very frustrating for her older fans who know what she is capable of. The numbers ones album could have had another number one song and I don't buy that "the public do not care for her anymore". It's her material that is letting her down. These last seven years have been one disappointed to the next. Great album, poor single choices. Great single, tacky video, etc. She needs a totally new sound. More uptempo rnb and disco infused songs. (Saturday 15 August 2015; 11:43)

New direction (54,585) by George Golden from UK Mariah needs a new direction. Why is she still doing these kind of juvenile stuff? She can be amazing if she wants to but she is still bent on doing hip hop rnb and that has been her downfall. People don't care to look for her album once the first single is released because it's usually a hip hop sound so they just conclude it's full of hip hop. Why is she been praised as having a hour glass figure in that dress in Paris? She didn't look good at all in that dress. Mariah needs people who can tell her the truth, it seems like she has got yes people around her. #Beautiful is the best single she has released since Touch My Body but the video and luckluster promotion just killed that song. So many wasted oportunities. She needs to get out of her confort zone asap. Do a James Bond soundtrack or any other blockbuster movie, collaborate with current producers, do a full album with a group like Daft Punk, collaborate with Pharell, stop repeating the same format time and time again. Please dont give up Mariah, just try new things and a new look. Music will not be the same without you. (Friday 12 June 2015; 17:49)

Seriously and to include it with her number ones was a bad decision. She has reduced herself to just an rnb artist and the music is suffering. If she releases a song like Paloma Faiths' "Just can't rely on you" do you guys think radio won't play it? And it won't blow up in the charts? It's her type of music that is too childish for her age and her celebrity has chewed up her music. (Monday 8 June 2015; 20:24)

Infinity is not the type of music someone of Mariah's status should be releasing at this point in her career. She needs big uptempo numbers with producers like Pharrel. If she wants to stay relevant she needs to step out of her comfort zone. Why was Infinity praised as her next number one before it came out?It seems to be the case for the past five singles she released in the past. I don't think she should retire its just too soon, I think she has got so much more to give. The reason she lost most of her fan base is because she is insisting on being just an rnb artist than a pop star. She has really boxed herself. I just pray for a redemption before it's too late.
