My MC 2015 fantasy wish list (48,007) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
(Saturday 22 November 2014; 3:07)

PREFACE

I started out wanting to make or update my previous wish list to realizing that I'm not really that hung up on Mariah accomplishing more than she already has. That's not to say that I will not celebrate in her future commercial endeavors, obviously. Just that it's not as important as being truly spiritually fulfilled.

I wish that for myself and I pray that for other people that I love and even people I don't know or have a natural liking for. I understand that not everybody is going to get why I feel the need to post this but I would reference Mariah's own expressed Faith and core beliefs and desires since the world first heard 'Vision of Love'. This is who she has always been striving to become. I recently reread Her autobiography: 'The Meaning of Mariah Carey'
and these are some of the thoughts I came away with:

"Hopes, Dreams, Wishes, and Prayers for Mariah Carey:

1. Spiritual Fulfillment
- That she continues to nurture her relationship with God, leaning on Him for guidance, peace, and joy in all aspects of her life.

2. A Godly Marriage
- That she finds a partner who shares her faith, values, and desire to honor God in their union.

3. Healing and Restoration
- That the scars from her past—whether from childhood or past relationships—are fully healed, allowing her to live with peace and joy unshaken by old wounds.

4. Authentic Love and Support
- That she surrounds herself with people who truly love, respect, and support her for who she is, beyond her celebrity persona.

5. Grace to Be Human
- That she is shown grace and understanding by others, allowing her to make mistakes, grow, and evolve without judgment or undue criticism.

6. Freedom from Worldly Pressures
- That she finds liberation from the entertainment industry’s materialistic and superficial values, allowing her to fully embrace her God-given identity.

7. Purposeful Legacy
- That she continues to use her platform and music to inspire others and share the presence of God, as she has done through her Christmas albums and other works.

8. A Loving and Faith-Centered Family
- That her family relationships, including with her children, remain strong, loving, and centered on mutual faith and respect.

9. Unwavering Faith
- That she remains steadfast in her faith, even when faced with life’s challenges, and continues to be a beacon of hope for others.

10. Divine Guidance
- That she discerns God’s will in her decisions, whether in her personal life or professional endeavors, and trusts His plan for her. "

In Jesus Almighty name, Amen.

Happy Valentine's Day (59,772) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
Love is in the air and all around today and I'm so glad M found a gentleman in James. We should all be so lucky when too many jokers lurk in our proverbial deck of cards. I hope MC's previously hinted surprise has something to do with a release of the #1 To Infinity Vegas DVD but who knows? In any case, long live WoolPac and happy V-Day you all. Wear it out.

The art of letting go of former collaborators (59,664) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
Why is it so difficult for some people to let go of the idea that Mariah will ever work with those who failed her as a friend, collaborator or both? Why would she have to when she has proven it doesn't matter who she's paired with to make it to #1? It's probably harder on Mariah when things go sour because it's personal. The rest of us, lambs andwWolves alike, have no skin in the game at all. There is a reason most of the ex-collaborators (they who shall remain nameless) are always positive to work with her again, while Mariah herself stays mum. That should tell you all you need to know and remove any motivations for wanting future joint musical ventures. But, it seems some of you will push for her to work with people who have betrayed her as you could care less about her well-being. Maybe some even want her in toxic situations for one reason or another? It's very, interesting?

Article: Mariah Carey planning three weddings to James Packer (59,662) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
The only thing more unbelievable than this wedding story was the ridiculous travelling museum article. Like, who even? Who?

Re: Ian Drews cover of Never Forget You (59,531) (59,561) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
Hey UK Ian, did you have a chance to check out the rest of I.D.s channel yet? There isn't one bad performance on there. Ian Drews is the real deal and his covers of Mariah's songs are consistently the best I've ever heard: IDWC, Infinity, Hero etc. His transitions from head voice to falsetto are masterful. His range is so surprising in agility. So fluid, it reminds me of Mariah's Daydream era voice. It's all so effortlessly executed too. The runs are heavenly, so clean. He's also got a definite coolness to him that I like. I honestly can't believe this kid is still an unknown, unsigned talent. But then, so was Mariah for a long time while Brenda K Starr had the record deal. In that way, it's only a matter of time before he is. I don't know but I really really hope I'm right.

M on Breakfast Xpress, South-African interview (59,541) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
So M called into a radio station in South Africa (thought it was New Zeeland going by the accent). She was introduced as the biggest selling female act of all time. And she was very protective of her 18 #1 hit record. Of course the ring and James' proposal was brought up. They talked about her previous visits to SA. Says she's too busy working on her own music to listen to Adele, even though she's fantastic. We love everybody. Rihanna's and Mariah's mutual love for each other is brought up. MC's love of hip-hop, R&B and Gospel. She doesn't want to talk about other people though, not even her neighbours. She loves binge-watching Scandal. They bring up her concert rider and apparently "it's what the last guy wanted to eat" as she would rather be brought a traditional South-African dish. No Cristal champagne, it's been banned from her diet. But Ace of Spades is a go. South Africa is excited to see Mariah and vice versa. She thanks them for a fun interview. Mariah says she doesn't put pressure on James to do things, like show up at her shows, it's up to him. Good night, good morning.

Ian Drews cover of Never Forget You (59,530) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
This kid is a star in the making. Mark my words. The tone, the confidence and musicality it takes to successfully cover Mariah at her best is a revelation. He's fucking brilliant the way he took on NFY, even though he was very loyal to Mariah's arrangements, but still managed to sound interesting from start to finish. I actually closed my eyes to savour it. Vibrato, so soothing and mature. He doesn't sound like anyone on the radio right now and I love it. He looks really young but that voice is gonna make grown women's panties drop. I.D. I'm like obsessed with his YouTube channel now. He's a a lamb and I wanna marry him so he can sing to me all day everyday, all night. Dibs. Excuse me while I eye wedding dresses and pick out china patterns, and don't worry MiMi, you and James are of course invited to Ian and I's celebratory union.

Re: (59,472) (59,487) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
"Just watched Rene Angelil's funeral. Unbelievably moved. Love of your life. Christ. How moving. Good luck to Mariah and the billionaire love of her life." You're a real piece of work the way you use something as poignant as the passing of Celine's René to make a dig at Mariah. Sad, yet predictable. You probably won't know how compassion feels until it's too late.

Sweet Sweet Fantasy tour hitlist Stockholm Globen (59,456) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
Excluding AIWFCIY(#4), these are MC's charting singles on the Swedish charts, in descending order. It doesn't necessarily always reflect which songs are still being played on the radio or downloaded on iTunes. I'll save that for another post. Keep in mind that our list isn't like the Billboard Hot 100 (which has included airplay for decades). It's only since 2010 that streams have been counted on. Anyway, I thought It'd make an interesting list in anticipation of the tour.

Deolinda Kinzima's Hero on Portugal's The Voice (59,432) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
I thought this was quite lovely. She really made it her own. Mariah should be very proud that this little "schmaltzy" song, she originally wrote for Gloria Estefan, is such an anthem going on 20 years now. At my school it was covered a lot in the mid 90's during our talent shows (ironically, never by me). It's still probably the case. Good luck Deolinda, you have a very nice voice.

AIWFCIY at #4 on Swedish singles chart (58,745) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
Basically matching it's highest position from 2013 with zero direct promotion. These things make a lamb happy. AIWFCIY is so big now that established artists, random celebrities and regular people promote it all on their own. It's everybody's song now. Mariah can go ahead and push Oh Santa now instead. And it's not a big deal that she didn't crack the top 10 on BB's Hot 100, yet. It's not like Christmas isn't an annual occurance (much like her Beacon shows) or anything. I predict All I Want For Christmas (Is You) will end up at #1 on many international singles charts whenever her Christmas themed feature film hits theatres. Actually, I think it might be Oh Santa's time to shine. Knowing Mariah, she's writing a festive new song to make it a triptych. I don't know, but I could be right. My 2¢.

Joy To The World Celebration Remix (58,698) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
I this song and video so much. Shout out to David Morales. I especially love how much it looks like a Snapchat story. I hope her Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour will be just as fun for her as her frolic in Europe during the Music Box-Merry Christmas era. I want a free spirited video like this was for her next venture, much like Emotions and the My All/Stay Awhile. Well, a rockumentary/biography would be kinda nice too MiMi. Anyway, Merry Christmas Lambily. It's been a very good vintage for Mariah lovers. Enjoy.

AWFCIY goes top 10 AGAIN on Swedish iTunes at #5 (58,638) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
Yay. All I Want For Christmas is climbing the charts everywhere. On the Swedish singles chart it's currently at #15 (peak is #4 in 2013). Not surprising as it already outperformed it's 2014 run in November. It's looking like a really nice cap on 2015. Hollah haters. No shady pines for Mariah just yet. Sorry, not sorry. Maybe next lifetime.

A Christmas Melody and MC's Merriest Christmas DVD? (58,589) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
It's been strongly hinted at that ACM is coming out on DVD last night on Twitter and #AChristmasMelody was still trending when I fell asleep at 7am CET today. The responses have been overwhelmingly positive for Mariah's 1-2 puch of a Hallmark Holiday Extravaganza. I didn't see a single negative comment and the Lambily was in rare form showing out and beaming with pride so it was probably wise to keep any grinchiness private while we celebrated MC's triumph as a director as well as her sleighing Christmas Special. Here's Joy To The World. Now go out there and kill it for MiMi.

Article: Mariah Carey's opening a $20million museum (58,539) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
"This seems fake to me. One thing that really stands out is 'a recreation of her childhood home'. Mariah has said many times that they moved all around, so what home would this be? The whole article feels a bit drerogatory as well." I quoted for emphasis Steve's entire post. This story is bogus from start to finish and seems to have only been written to make fun of Mariah's heard earned longevity. If she's not a has-been, she's being dethroned even while AIWFCIY is still making international chart history more than 20 years after its debut. I just hate when these people try to turn Mariah's accomplishments into jokes and lame puchlines. It's even worse when it's being spread and talked about by fans of MC's as true. Discernment people, that's Apollo I ask. I mean, a travelling (circus) museum? Really? What is she, an Antique's Roadshow?

Full Sweet Sweet Fantasy tour announcement (58,504) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
Yay. In this backstage mini-interview where MiMi revealed the European tour, she also implied that the Lambily around the world will be able to see her TV projects with Hallmark, "hopefully". This is the full clip.

Lacey Chabert gushes on working with Mariah Carey (58,501) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
Awww, Lacey is a total sweetheart and she's got the art of effortless plugging down to a science on The Real. The amount of information she packed in to a 0:57 second clip is astounding: Mariah (whom she's a big fan of) serenaded her on her birthday when she got the part on A Christmas Melody which premieres this Saturday December 19th on Hallmark directly followed by Mariah's merriest Christmas. And she looks fabulous doing it.

Mariah Carey's opening a $20million museum (58,489) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
Who's the idiot hater who concocted this Mariah Carey traveling museum story? It's obviously written to mock her very successful tours/residencies that are now for sure gonna be a big part of 2016. You guys need to learn how to read between the lines. Every word is strategically placed to make fun of Mariah on an almost (no, strike that) definitely on a personal level. This is some moron's idea of being clever. Whatever [censored], Mariah is unstoppable now that she has a genuinely happy personal life and fulfilment creatively. Team Mariah is on fire slaying dragons and saving lives. That's why reading antagonistic articles like this and [censored] posters don't really bother me. It's just proof MC is hotter than ever. Mariah just made my day, my year and my life with the Sweet Sweet Fantasy tour, coming to a continent, country and city near me. Can you all [censored] please refrain from nabbing the best seats? She's gonna be lipsynching the whole concert anyway, so why come at all? Don't waste your money, be smart, stay at home and invest in cochlear implants instead. Besides, it's much easier to keep complaining about Mariah's voice and music when you just watch 16 seconds Instagram clips. Mariah will understand and the Lambily will for sure appreciate it.

Sweet Sweet Fantasy tour (58,411) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
*squeee* I'm so excited, Mariah's finally coming to Europe on tour and to Stockholm, my neck of the woods. But you better believe I'm going to more than one show even if I have to go by myself for most of them. And who cares anyway when the Lambily is bound to show up and show out. Christmas came real early this year. Thanks for always listening MiMi. you much.

Fifth Harmony sings AIWFCIY: the light's bad (58,393) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
This periscope of Fifth Harmony's backstage antics at The Jingle Ball has had me rolling for days so I thought I'd share while it's still relevant. Ally lead the choir with her ethereal high notes and Mariah's impact is felt throughout with the girl's obsession with the lighting used to film them. Camila is just randomly opening her mouth this close to the camera lens. Lauren can't stop singing and Dinah makes her duck-lips even on video. In the end Normani said in the most forlorn tone ever: The light's bad. I don't understand why it's so funny but it is. Happy Holidays Lambily

Re: Acting brand new (58,331) (58,357) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
Not once did you compliment Mariah's many amazing performances at the inaugural Beacon shows last year. Not once. But now all of a sudden "we are Lambily". You're such a hypocrite when exactly a year ago you (on December 4th, following Rockefeller) were writing many several consecutive posts like this one: "I'm with you G. G. I'm sick of these excuses. If shaky performances were extremely rare for Mariah I would look for an outside circumstance to blame as well, but this is nothing new. There have been numerous performances that I've cringed at even when she was indoors, was in perfect health (no colds), etc. Her voice has changed. Period. I will always be a lamb, watch her interviews and performances but let's just face reality. I know that a lot of people are trying to hype up the performance because they know that when MC gives a bad performance it makes us look bad, but come on now. " At least Andrew is consistent with his posts. You were wrong for counting out Mariah like she was an old clock winding down. I told you you were wrong and you intimated that I was being condescending and elitist. I was being neither. I was just loyal and smart enough to know you never ever discount Mariah. Especially on such weak grounds, and dem grounds are always weak BTW. If Mariah responded positively to negativity then my point would be moot. But she doesn't, so why then is being loyal, consistently in Mariah's corner, rooting for her and defending her from ubiquitous attackers with sketchy motives discouraged? It's the easiest job in the world when you actually like both her music and persona. You couldn't pay me to stop even if you donated millions to my favourite charity. Last year, as you well know (because I made sure you knew) Mariah was suffering from a cold while in icy wet weather two days in a row in the midst of probable divorce drama and the painful recovery of her body from multiple debilitating injuries. You and your friends had absolutely no compassion for her at all then. Some of you don't even pretend you do now. For some reason she deserved no mercy from a so called "supporter" when so many in the GP literally everywhere with a broadband connection, WiFi and smoke signals. were having a slice of her extremely overblown minor vocal issues with the purest glee that anybody with a heart and good sense would know better than to try and use against her at her most vulnerable. Let alone a supposed "fan". There is something to be said about loyalty. That's how come you constantly end up sharing yourself while trying to unsuccessfully distance yourself from your old posts. Next thing you know, you'll be saying how you think Vegas was always such a great idea. Same script, different day.

You're Mine (Choreo. Jinstar x Doo) (58,332) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
This hip-hop dance troop is amazing in seven kinds of stuffing. I especially can't believe I've never heard this innovative remix before but it might be very local seeing as all parties involved are likely based in South Korea. Not surprising since that's a big market for MiMi. Lambs are so creative, I wish we had an even bigger sense of community and ability to reach out to each other. These language barriers suck tbh. But whatever, enjoy the clip and Merry Christmas Lambily.

Article: The 9 merriest moments from Mariah's Christmas show (58,305) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
Mariah Carey - Oh Holy Night (live at Beacon Theatre 2015.12.08). Chills I tell you, chills upon chills. Mariah already sounds so so good and it's only opening night. Her tone is so piercingly angelic it's rediculous. I'm thoroughly wowed. I was just about to type how I hope they are documenting this but they obviously already did for the Christmas special on Hallmark airing right after A Christmas Melody. Ha. I guess a DVD release wouldn't hurt us too much either. Hint hint. Congrats on an amazing premiere last night and break a nail tonight Mimi.

New Mariah Carey TV special to follow "ACM" (58,285) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
Oh Santa. Get ready for Mariah Carey's Merriest Christmas. The Grammy-winning singer stars in a new holiday special, "Mariah Carey's Merriest Christmas", airing on the Hallmark Channel at 10 p.m. Saturday, Dececember 19, immediately following the premiere of her "A Christmas Melody" movie filmed here in October. Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds, Emmy-winner Kelsey Grammer ("Frasier") and Billy Gardell ("Mike & Molly") will perform in the one-hour special. "A Christmas Melody" cast members Lacey Chabert, Brennan Elliott and Fina Strazza also will appear to share their "holiday memories and experiences from working with Mariah on-set during production of the movie", according to the Hallmark Channel release. Yay. After reading the whole article I'm beyond excited. It's like a full partnership with legs and tentacles for years and years to come with Hallmark. I could literally cry you guys. MiMi's been so good to us this year. These things make me that happy. Team Mariah better have or get a wirkdwide distribution deal secured with NBC Universal so us international Lambs can enjoy the festivities too. Are you guys so excited?

Mariah sleighs even at her worst (58,258) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
Why do all these people seem to have the collective memory of a single goldfish where Mariah's live performances are concerned? She was in the hospital on a drip less than a week ago suffering from severe flu symptoms. It was all over social media, TMZ, YouTube and MCA. Yet that is somehow irrelevant when reviewing her performance with Busta Rimes on Hot For The Holidays. When is the last time any of you checked out of a hospital straight into full make-up, hair and wardrobe and performed a full set for a corporate lumber company's Christmas party and probably had to fly miles away from home to get there? You people are just determined to relive the Rockefeller 2014 experience one way or the other, come rain or snow, aren't you. Sad, yet predictable. Mariah showed up to support her friend to help celebrate his milestone longevity in the music industry for free and the crowd loved it. But I guess if you're gonna be a Grinch, now would be the perfect time.

Re: Prince spills tea: Billboard Lady Gaga's WOTY fraud (58,236) (58,255) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
"Prince hit the nerve. Billboard never acknowledges Mariah's success and rather give props to artists with less achievements for some reason. Billboard charts became a business some are willing to follow but I'm happy MC is beyond that." You're right Sofia. And you know It could only have been someone like Prince who could have exposed them like he did. As he doesn't have anything to prove and he is known to release his material in ways Billboard doesn't always credit as legitimate sales. Of course the usual suspects are gonna wanna try and make this rather disappointing revelation about the bribery based culture at Billboard Magazine about everything but that. Corrupt losers. But in hindsight I'm really happy Mariah didn't get any of their fake awards. It just further endears her to me in light of recent events. They can keep 'em indefinitely while MiMi keeps her integrity and pristine moral compass intact. These things make me proud to be a Lamb.
