About Lara from Middle East: I discovered Mariah with "always be my baby"...Got hooked by "my all"..didnt know it was the same artist back then..I couldn't (yet) understand what she was singing! Since then, I've been a big fan and rediscovered her catalogue and appreciate her even more...Searching for her lyrics was my way to learn english :)

Mariah and Nick fell apart because Nick couldn't keep his mouth shut and she saw it as a threat to her bubble. Stella came when she was in a very low point (probably in major depression and her bipolar medications would need adjustment) and probably filled her head with her women-empowerment-single-moms-rule speech and liked how she was unapologetic toward her acts so she definitely was drowned into her. She saw something in her just like she saw something in Tommy despite everyone warnings and repeated the same destructive behavior. Not making excuses but she is in a completely different state of mind and definetly not motivated as before I guess, and probably her medications for bipolar limit her creativity for sure. Not trying for charts (84,540) by Lara from Middle East I think that the rollout for the single is deliberately done this way after GTFO didn't go viral as expected so they knew her next release won't have a big impact. Releasing it a day earlier (before charts counts) delaying radio play and the video... the stalling will be the excuse why the single didn't pick up.
