Yes for sure the whole thing is scripted because obviously they need content for it to be enjoyable but literally no creative aspect to the whole show. When I initially watched the show it was of course cringe fest but I thought after all these years I can watch without cringing and I couldn't get past the second episode. I lost my shit when I remembered Stella's spawn was the social media manager for Mariah lol, I had completely erased that from my mind. This woman would fire everyone and replace them with her family members. Do you remember Mariah's social media posts while Stella jr was posting? It was a mess. (Friday 9 July 2021; 21:51)

And yes most of the stress is coming through Stella's commands but at the end of the day she was supposed to be Mariah's employee. Like it just plays into showing Mariah is a unnecessarily demanding employee. Not a cute look. So this whole sketch was stupid and not for a second did it look believable. You get a major living legend to invite you behind the doors and you put in fillers of this stupid plot? That right there shows Stella's length of creativity. (Friday 9 July 2021; 21:47)

Haha so I was trying to rewatch "Mariah's World" (I couldn't get past the second episode as it's so cringe). Stella ofcourse is prominently featured there, and I almost had second hand trauma reliving that era. Like Mariah going on and on telling the camera, Kris and anyone who would listen how amazing Stella is and that Stella is misunderstood and how everyone (clearly the fans) is always attacking Stella. Also talking about how up until Stella all her other employees never took care of her and Stella gets things done. I just couldn't take it lol. I'm just glad she's gone. She would've ruined Mariah beyond repair. Also side note - some very uncomfortable parts to relive was how Stella assigned her daughter as Mariah's social media manager (saying 12 year old is perfect for it as Mariah's target audience is 12, like what?), the whole Molly plot line (obviously a paid actress and scripted line) you get the Mariah Carey to do a "docu-series" (*cough* reality show) and you don't have enough plots with her that you need to add a stupid plot that adds no depth, the scenes with Tanaka and the "highlighted sexual tension". There are some of the many uncomfortable scenes I came across from 1 and half episodes I managed to revisit. I couldn't bear to carry on. (Friday 9 July 2021; 16:35)

I don't ever see him trying to get attention through using her name, he stays low key. Mariah seems happy and content. Tanaka is gorgeous no doubt. But yes I was initially suspicious of him. He also inspired one of Mariah's finest new songs, "With You". He's also becoming one of her longest relationships. So he must be doing something right. (Wednesday 23 June 2021; 20:29)

I feel like on her end Mariah tried her best, she would include him in all celebrations, even his mother and family (as is the right thing to do obviously) and she seemed to always put a happy face and post pictures including him, instead of just looking like she's tolerating him. So I thought what an amazing co-parenting relationship. But obviously with now so many factors in this equation it just gets complicated for all parties. Mariah tried hard for her kids to give them a positive co-parenting experience that she herself didn't ever get. (Monday 21 June 2021; 20:52)

Nick, why oh why? (98,225) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter So Nick as you all might know recently (June 14th) had twins and now he announced he's having another child with another woman, his fourth baby mama. It's apparently his fourth child in a year and 7th child in total. Now I obviously have no right to say anything about how people should live their lives but boy is this a mess. I feel bad for Roc n Roe because between all these kids and all the jobs Nick does I wonder if they even get to see him much anymore. Also all these kids won't probably see him much either. He's really pulling a Cruise Control, bringing the drama, six baby mamas. Poor Mariah too, will forever have her name attached to this mess train. (Monday 21 June 2021; 04:06)

Triumphant (98,213) (98,216) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter The only reason lambs hated the song at that point was they were waiting for years for Mariah's next lead single (although Triumphant was later dubbed a buzz single), and so after waiting for so long they got a song where Mariah feels like a featured artist or hook girl. But to be honest I didn't care, I loved it from the first listen. Even loved the video. I still watch it. Also yes a great work out song, gets me going. I had once back in the day dubbed it the new "Hero" on this board haha. At the risk of the lambs coming for me. But I do think that song should have done a lot better on the charts. Re: Revisiting videos at random (98,154) (98,156) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter The "With You" video is stunning visually but would not have a playback value for [a lot of people] outside of Mariah's core fan base. One of my favorite shots is of her laying on the floor with her hair and dress fanned out, she looks like the "dancing girl" emoji. Butterfly era was Mariah's video peak. Every single video was amazing, whether it's the visuals, the plot, the execution and of course Mariah's own beauty (Butterfly era Mariah is my favorite look), everything was just next level amazing. Each videos also represented the song's mood so well. With "Honey" giving the sweet but sexy liberated look, "My All" and "The Roof" showing the sexy but vulnerability the protagonist is feeling, "Butterfly" and "Breakdown" amazingly showcasing the vulnerability and loneliness of the protagonist with stunning visuals. Every single video is amazing from that era. Her next video peak was "TEOM", every single video from that era was so high quality and just pure perfection. (Saturday 12 June 2021; 03:58)

Revisiting videos at random (98,152) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter So I was just randomly revisiting some of Mariah's videos, random order and had a few random thoughts. I watched "Infinity" first, haven't seen that video in a long time and looking bad it wasn't a bad video, minus just the scenes of her awkwardly bopping in the closet in the black dress. So overall not a bad video and I loved the sequence were all 3 of her "suitors" make cameos. I then switched to "A No No". Although I'm iffy about the video (the color palette and all is great though) I still can't fathom that this song didn't make a bigger impact. No one can tell me had Ariana or someone like her sang this song it wouldn't be on the top of the charts. I really wish she had Cardi or Nicki on this track and gave it more of a push. "I Don't" is a hot mess haha. Mariah looks hot but that's about it. "With You" a beautiful song, but no replay value. Mariah looks stunning though, but that won't push a song. I love how she responded to it by sliding in the "our #1 song", remind them who the queen is. Mariah is honestly a force to be reckoned with and the fact that she still regularly grabs headlines shows people are still invested in her. The only reason I feel like her music isn't doing well is because of wrong single choice, lack of aggressive promotion plans and most importantly videos with no replay value. I still think she continues to make quality music. I would love to see some experimentations and collaborations but I truly believe she can make a decent dent in the charts if she tackles the things I mentioned above. (Tuesday 8 June 2021; 01:48)

MC's response (98,102) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter MC shut that rumor down real quick. She responded on Instagram sharing a "Heartbreaker" video clip and basically nipping it in the bud.
