(New York City) I have to agree with both Special K, and Mimi L this was a nice song with a great melody that could have heated up on the R&B chart but the cheap video killed the vibe instantly while certain shots were beautiful. Mariah herself came off looking awkward and cheap as hell and it hurts me to say that because I think MC is one beautiful woman. Question Archives family (76,175) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) If Mariah can take inspiration from any two of her albums for this new album what two albums you would suggest and why? For me I would look to Butterfly because it is where she took full control and the artist really flourished, and Daydream because it has a little bit of everything musically that best describes MC. My point was if anyone feels the need to come to this message board just to ridicule and talk what you do not respect or like about MC anymore, it could be possible you have outgrown her and it's time to move on and that was myself included. I respect constructive criticism and I don't mind expressing frustrations but at times some of us come to this message board just to nitpick everything Mariah does or says. Why Mariah gets singled out (76,059) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) The answer to this equation is simple her diva attitude and defensive ways get her the target on her back to be singled out nowadays but on a side note the press has always given MC a hard time maybe because of her connections in the industry earlier on. But I to agree and say that MC along with some other artists have always been judged more harshly. (Monday 5 June 2017; 14:18)

We are all entitled to state our different opinions here regarding MC as this is what this platform is dedicated to. My statement was made based off constant negative comments made about Mariah here not your comment specifically but I guess you felt the need to respond to my comment because it describes you. Honestly I have no problem with anyone who posts here but I feel that for anyone myself included if we have come to a point where we don't connect with Mariah as a person or artist it is time to move on and post on another platform of the artist or artists we identify with instead of coming here to post negativity all the time. (New York City) While I am happy it was a success let's not come here and insult Mariah because she was not apart of today's events for all we know she was not probably even asked to be apart. On another note let's not forget the many times she has been apart of such events. A tribute to heroes 2001 as her career was going down the tubes she put on a brave face and still performed. This is what Ariana was supposed to do since the tragedy happened at her concert. I have to say Mariah's actions as of late have not been the brightest but at this point if you feel you have lost faith in Mariah or simply have out grown her move on instead of coming here day in and day out just to say how horrible and irrelevant Mariah is. I just wish MC would focus on one thing at a time, right now I would like for her to put her all into the music and her new record label because as we have seen with everything team MC as of late nothing is properly executed or properly promoted and that is not a good look for a so called professional. Daydream (75,761) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) For me Daydream is a nice blend of pop, R&B and AC with Mariah's voice taking center stage and oh so smooth like butter. This was the begging of her growth and transition as an artist with her full transition coming coming with Butterfly both of these albums represent something special for me for different reasons and I can honestly say are my favorite two MC albums ever. To all those that knew and loved Martyn in time may you find peace and light knowing that Martyn is in heavens with God and is now an angel that watches and protects you from above. Fan base / Breakdown (75,547) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) First things first. Breakdown in my opinion has always been one of Mariah's perfect musical moments it combined the right of R&B and hip hop without coming off as desperate or trying too hard. Still to this day this song remains one of my favorite songs done by Mariah ever. Honestly as far as the fan base goes I find nothing wrong with fans who have been around since forever expressing concern or dismay with Mariah's actions as of the past two years a lot of these actions are overshadowing what we love about Mariah the most and when the music suffers everything else seems irrelevant. As a day one fan it's hard for me to defend some of choices as of late. Honestly I am tired of Mariah being photographed coming out of trendy restaurants just be captured by TMZ while the blood sucking clan gets freebies off Mariah's back but if this is what she is going to allow she can not blame no one but herself. Hopefully she can wake up and smell the roses and get back to the main thing at hand making some fire tunes and a banging album. (Tuesday 23 May 2017; 00:44)

LA Reid (75,176) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) This is no surprise as his efforts have been marginal at best. I believe Sylvia Rhone will be his replacement who is another respected industry executive. Honestly speaking at this point Mariah needs someone who is going to make her put in that work and be hard on her so she can produce the best product possible. Mariah has become to comfortable with LA so as a result the output has been either poor quality or nothing at all. On another note Roger is pissed with Mariah over Stella and him being close to Cindi any chance gets nowadays he finds a way to kick Mariah's back in just an observation. (Friday 12 May 2017; 12:55)

Mariah featuring Future (75,070) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) To anyone's question yes Future as much as I hate to admit it is very popular. Personally I never got his appeal but something's are not for me to digest. I really want Mariah to get focused and to stop trying to chase these trends musically that make her look thirsty and desperate. I understand that she wants to look cool and hip to the kids due to fact that she swears she is eternally 12. But with almost 30 years behind her the music industry you would think she would focus on her core which is the a little older crowd those that left who have been around since 1902. I said that to say I am not exactly excited about this Future feature at all if true. Hopefully this is just a rumor and innuendo, and Mariah gets back to making music she is capable of, and stop trying to keep up with the young kids. (Monday 8 May 2017; 12:54)

Albums (75,003) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) Debates like this are some of my favorite because each one of us like different albums for different reasons. The one thing I can appreciate about Mariah's album she has a little something for all her fans. I would hope that one day Mariah would rank all her studio albums according to herself just to see where some of our favorite albums rank according to MC herself. (Friday 5 May 2017; 17:26)

(New York City) The Mariah that is upon us is the one who is enjoying herself with any apologies and yes some recent actions have me wondering why but who am I to keep passing judgement on another living being who has a right to live her life as she chooses as long as she is not harming herself or those around her in way, shape, or form. Is the LV cake a bit much? Yes but maybe it was requested by the guest of honor. What I find to be lame is me finding a reason to nitpick about everything that this woman does just because I do not like it. I say self everything Mariah is not for your approval. (New York City) Let me start by saying we have all been influenced or influenced someone a time or two in our lives and Mariah is different after all she is human like the rest of us. I find as a majority of the fans hate Stella to maximum capacity we just want to nitpick at this point anything we can to say she is wrong for our Mariah we have become so spoiled with MC we find a majority everything wrong with everyone in her life. Don't get me wrong I am by no means a Stella loyalist because to me she has done anything to prove her worth as Mariah's manager but her last team became dead weight also but what do I know I am just a fan observing and with an opinion but at the end of the day I know that until Mariah decides Stella and company have to go they are not going anywhere. All I can do is either continue to support her in the ways I choose or leave her alone all together as for right now I may not like everything going on in Mariah's world but I am open to hear where the direction of the new album is going to go. I believe this new era will determine the duration of Mariah and Stella's business relationship. (Monday 1 May 2017; 14:17)

(New York City) The new song with Busta is a Busta song with a MC feature for his album so we have to wait until Busta and his team are ready to release it. The Nick saga (74,724) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) Ok Archives family let's not jump to any conclusions about what is really going on between Mariah and Nick for all we know they can be doing all of this to celebrate Roc and Roe as their birthday is fast approaching. I will say we can all guess what happened between Mariah and Nick during their marriage but until one of them decides to speak on it everything is pure assumption. But let's not forget that it takes two people to make a relationship work and it takes those same two people to ruin a relationship both Mariah and Nick are the reason their marriage failed. So we should stop pointing fingers at one over the other. Honestly at this point whatever happens between Mariah and Nick is solely up to them as long as their happy and their children are happy and healthy that is all that should matter. Stella (74,674) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) Stella is only doing what Mariah is allowing her to do end of story because at the end of day Mariah is Stella's boss. So until Mariah sets some boundaries the circus act will continue. Honestly since coming on board Stella has not been so stellar, she has only been a problem and not a solution. Hopefully if she and Nick are trying to work on building a bond again of some sort that Mariah puts her foot down and retires the circus act of Stella and company. (Saturday 22 April 2017; 19:19)

(New York City) Something tells me LA Reid had a long stern talk with MC and really let her know the cold hard truth about her status and to get focused and give the fans she has left a real era and to stop with the half assed singles and promotion. I really think he is ready to help bring Mariah back to the top where he knows she is capable of being, and he is making sure she is ready to do the work. Something tells me this new era is going to be big on all levels. (Saturday 15 April 2017; 21:03)

(New York City) Truth be told Stella and company are still very much active in Mariah's world but with this new album and era I am sure Mariah will have a different mindset. Let's just hope that Stella and company are on the same page or I can see Mariah finally waking up and giving Stella and company their walking papers. We have to remember that Stella comes from a reality show background whereas everything is fake and over exaggerated and honestly this is where a more composed manager needs to step in and handle Mariah's affairs on the musical side of things that understand Mariah and her musical legacy or should I say what can be saved from it. In opinion Stella is out to Kris Jenner the situation and get her family on at Mariah's expense and Mariah's World on E further proved that to me. Hopefully our girl can wake up soon and see Stella and company for who they really are and that is opportunists. (Saturday 15 April 2017; 12:40)

Mariah the songwriter (74,506) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) I understand that some people on the message board would like for Mariah to allow other songwriters to write her new album. I would have to disagree, this is part of who she is. I don't mind cowriters if they are useful in bringing her musical vision to life. From her first album Mariah has written for herself and I think she should continue to do so. Just because she has not produced songs worthy of her greatness does not mean she can not write a hit. She has done so many times over now she just has to get back in her bag and believe in her talent again and I bet she will come out of this with just what the doctor ordered.
