Wish for MC30 (97,203) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I don't about you all but I used to thoroughly enjoy (and still do) watching behind the scenes of MV. I wish Mariah would've released some BTS if some of her videos along with the MC30 releases. Example for TEOM I know for sure she has BTS footage for ILT, GYN and SS (as either VH-1) aired it. I read somewhere BTS of WBT was also shot but I don't think it was ever released. So it would've been nice to see some of those. (Tuesday 26 January 2021; 20:03)

Re: Drake and Ariana (97,199) (97,202) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter True, it's just sad that there's so much potential and I'm sure many artists would love to collaborate with Mariah if only she'd give them the green signal but she just chooses to not collaborate with bigger artist because maybe she doesn't want to get a #1 because of a hot collaboration and just wants it on her own merit but times have changed, and I wish Mariah would for once give it a try. Drake and Ariana (97,198) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Rumor has it that Drake and Ariana are collaborating on a song. That will be a sure fire #1, no stopping that since they're both huge on streaming. I don't get why Mariah still doesn't collaborate with Drake. He's clearly a fan because he used her sample of Emotions, then he randomly posts her in his stories and posted a photo of her with his dad. For her future releases for the next few eras I do hope she releases some unreleased stuff. It's more than likely she won't because in the past eras for MC30 she didn't. But I really would like to hear the Angels Advocate Remixes. I especially hope she releases the H.A.T.E.U. So So Def remix that leaked during the era. It's such a bop, I love it. Then the unreleased #Beautiful remix and the video for the remix (the one where she broke her arm). If I'm not mistaken she said she went back from the hospital to finish filming it. Ignore the fact that her fans care to get her decades old soundtrack (that almost ended her career) charting to give it the glory it deserves? Wouldn't people then call her out for being ungrateful? Wouldn't her fans feel let down for their efforts? Also Mariah from what I gather seems to be quite insecure (despite being a superstar) and constantly craves validation, so I'm sure this gesture by the fans lead her to feel important and loved. I don't think her joy/surprise was disingenuous. It wasn't a ploy in my opinion for the press. It was just fan devotion that went viral. And since Glitter was a source of many Mariah spoofs and disses, when it started going viral, it got everyone talking about it. (Saturday 23 January 2021; 05:25)

Also Justice For Glitter was started by the Lambily not Mariah. She was surprised by it and that's when she started acknowledging Glitter again after so many years. We live in a time now when you gotta get as much exposure as you can get because once you're in the shadows you might not be out of it again. Today's audience has a nano second memory span. If you're out of sight you're truly out of mind. Also agree we need a E=MC2 type album, basically an album which is a compilation of single material songs, if she is to get some success again. Re: Ryan and Kelly show, thank you, next (97,037) (97,043) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter While I agree that there isn't in fact any "forces" trying to prevent her from getting another #1 (come on y'all she got a #1 last year with an old song) the thing I disagree with is when you say she isn't releasing anything worth charting. And yes of course different people like different kinds of songs so I'm not saying my opinion is the ultimate opinion, just saying I personally feel she did release a lot of really great songs in the middle but what's stopping her from burning up the charts are a mixture of a label push/backup (I'm talking deals and monetary support as in a strong budget), really poor promotion strategies (some of her songs had delayed video/remix releases and then after a soft "download my new tune" we hear nothing of it), really poor single choices and videos with no replay value (among other things). A good budget combined with a video with good replay value would do wonders (look at the AIWFCIY 2019 and OS videos). A good choice of singles and strategical promotions is mandatory. We live in a world where everyone has a nano-second memory, you have to keep reminding them (example engage tiktok influencers for the song to go viral). There's just so much she can do. And an easy one would be just to get Drake haha. I mean she definitely got Ariana for some buzz, just get Drake and seal the deal. (Monday 28 December 2020; 08:09)

She managed to give Willow such a huge fight and competition despite AIWFCIY being a 26 year old holiday song. Like imagine a huge artist like Taylor having to discount her lead single (of her surprise album, on her birthday month) and release so many discounted remixes and videos just to compete with a 26 year holiday song that has not been discounted and is standing strong on its own merit. People are actually choosing to buy Mariah's song at full price while Taylor is having to discount hers. That being sad, I wish Taylor would have released her song in January because she is a talented hard working girl but December is Mariah's month. (Friday 18 December 2020; 05:32)

How many times has she been dragged for wearing the same long gown because she always does it. Mariah is 50 but looking 35, she's feeling herself and her body, I love it. That dress is snatched, perfect amount of legs, cleavage and hugging her curves perfectly. Also this is a fun sing and dance upbeat song, a gown would absolutely not go with the vibe. I loved the version (I enjoy the original version too) but this one has the dimensions of having 3 different vocal styles on it. (Friday 4 December 2020; 16:33)

She was confident about it and from her tone in agreement with the decision of not releasing it. When Mariah wants something to be a single and doesn't get it her way she usually makes it a point to show she wasn't in agreement with the snub, for example her complaining about not being able to release "The One" instead of "Boy". AIWFCIY truly stood the test of time and this accolade came late but atleast it got the respect it deserves. I’m so happy for Mariah and for the lambily. This is truly a big win. I heard Cardi's team is also aware of it and apparently Cardi saw the video of Mariah talking about it on someone's iinstagram story. In other news both Mariah and Cardi were spotted at a studio today, so fingers crossed. I think this remix has already been recorded or at least already been signed off on by all parties because Mariah wouldn't just put it out there. She usually says names of people she would maybe like to collaborate with, but she has never been this specific about the collaborator and the song. (Wednesday 21 November 2018; 18:11)

Plus Mariah went on Suss One's radio show and talked about the collaboration again, so I think it will happen. Mariah has hardly ever been so specific about which collaborator she wants on which song. But in a span of a few days she mentioned this collaboration twice. It's a brilliant idea.
