Mariah / Timbaland Jodeci's new album (67,375) by T from USA Has anyone listened to Jodeci's new album that was released last year? It is R&B magic (of course.). Most reviews gave it 4/5 stars and said how it just didn't try to recreate songs from the past but with Timbaland's help it actually sounded fresh and current while keeping it's roots in what they do best, R&B. I've wanted Mariah to work with Timbaland for so long, and hearing the little bit they did during the Memoirs era I really want them to work together. (I wish Skydiving made the tracklist.) Anyway, I know after MIAM was released, Timbaland tweeted how incredible the album was. I wouldn't mind if her new album is 90% produced by him. She needs to mix and up and he is a proven winner. Mariah: Crystal vs Solange, a seat at the table (67,014) by T from USA I feel like both Crystal and Solange are great female song writers but if I could pick I would rather Mariah collaborate with Solange. To me Crystal brings the fun witty one liners but Solange's writings are much more raw and honest. We have E=MC2 and that's fine but I don't want another version. I rather have something more in line with "A Seat at the Table". PS. I love Mariah's work with Walter A and if there was a chance for one more collaboration (or even just a sit down writers' session) I would totally be down for that. (Tuesday 4 October 2016; 22:02)

If they all are saying the same thing (53,887) by T from USA Walter Afansieff, Boyz II Men and now JD. All her former close relationships are saying basically the same thing. Mariah has so much potential. Wasted. The turn around happened in 2008 after she got married. I remember she said on Oprah in 2002 (when Charmbracelet came out) that she's finally learned to slow down and say "no". However, it seems she's taken that to the extreme by 2009 and just didn't take anything seriously anymore. I was shocked with the lack of promo for Memoirs. Then MCIIY she seemed somewhat back but MIAMTEC was a disaster. If she doesn't start treating it like the '90s or 2005 then I think she should pull a Shania Twain go on one more world tour and then peace out. At least she will save her legacy if #1's is her last big promo push. She could've had the world by the ears at this years "return to the Billboard Awards" and yet it was just meh. Not bad but nothing to talk about either. She was given the chance and she just didn't deliever. 25 years is a long career, and fulfilling. I won't be mad if she retired after Vegas in February. Infinity music video (52,899) by T from USA Mariah confirmed that she's shooting the video this week. That's exciting. I just had an idea that I think would be bring together past and present and tie right into her #1's project. She should bring back every "villian" or douche boyfriend from every video she's done. (The two bodyguards in Honey, the cheater in Heartbreaker, Eric Roberts, Wentworth Miller, compu-nerd, the obsessed stalker and Bianca). Out of all those only "Obsessed" isn't part of her #1's but I would still include him because it would be hilarious. Many of those people were in Bret directed videos as well. Infinity to #1 (52,277) by T from USA Guys, it is really important to report all illegal links to the song starting tomorrow. Any YouTube videos with altered pitches get them broken. This is what Taylor Swift fans do and it works very well in making her songs chart higher with more success. A fan doesn't help Mariah when they make videos with altered pitches. That will turn some buyers off because it doesn't sound like her. Report it. That way Mariah's Vevo account can get all the views and it will help with the charts. Steam legally and remember to buy the single. This new song will be very important to Mariah's future with Sony. (Monday 27 April 2015; 0:59)

Mariah's new look with Brett (50,683) by T from USA I think it's because she's covered up that we can actually pay attention to her natural beauty. I'm all for Mariah bringing back a more demure covered up classic Mariah look for the next era. I think people would really dig her again. (Friday 6 March 2015; 19:25)

I'm all for Walter A (50,678) by T from USA I wouldn't want a whole album produced by him but at least 3 songs on full length album would be nice. I'm just worried she would be embarrassed working with him because he's going to expect a lot from her and maybe she knows her voice just can't do all the things it could do from 1990-Butterfly. Mariah, Timbaland, Empire (50,659) by T from USA My dream would be that Mariah Carey seizes the moment and gets into the studio with Timabaland. He's doing big things right now in music and the show Empire (which is a highly rated popular TV show right now). Mariah's been invited to guest on the show and since Tim is the musical director it would make sense that a song they produce together is featured. It would make a perfect track for #1's and would pretty well guarantee Mariah shoot to the top of the charts, where she belongs. Let's all tweet to Mariah with the hastag: #MariahTimbalandSong. More #1's (50,336) by T from USA Out of these #2/#3 songs (Can't Let go, Without You, Loverboy, Shake It Off) I wish at least Without You went to #1, for me it's an honorary #1 hit (especially since it went to the top spot in the UK). I think that would've been a good addition to her Billboard #1's. I would've like Loverboy as well, not because I think it's a great song but lots of #1's aren't great songs. But I do think it would've lessened her big failure that year. I was sure Shake It Off was going #1. I also think her label (and herself) missed a huge opportunity with #Beautiful. She had American Idol. She should've booked a performance with Miguel during one live broadcast at least. I wish she milked that show more for the single because it might be Mariah's last chance at a hugely popular song. (Sunday 22 February 2015; 16:34)

All we need is one more #1 (50,181) by T from USA If Mariah can somehow get one more #1 hit then she will forever go down as the top female artist ever. After everything she's been through I would love to see her on the top spot again, and I hope the song is for the #1's re-release because I would hate for her to get her #19 after that re-release and then not have a complete #1's setlist on one album again. Question, if Mariah's next song when to #1 on Billboard 100 would you rather it be a catchy sing-a-long midtempo, a hot "of the moment" uptempo, or a classic ballad? (Sunday 15 February 2015; 19:11)

Next video director: Lee Daniels (50,126) by T from USA He always has her back and she trusts him. His work on Empire is epic and he is amazing director. I really hope she gets him to do her next video. (Saturday 14 February 2015; 15:21)

Sony Epic (50,124) by T from USA I think Mariah needs the support of a strong label behind her. Doing it on her own will lead to minimal success as we saw with the whole MIAMTEC era. Remember the label was only there at the beginning, but unlike all her previous albums she was the exclusive executive producer on this last one. So any money to be made back was only going to her. She was the only one invested in it and the only one bound to make money if it was a success. So MIAMTEC was her project. The only thing is the label was still in charge of picking the singles (which hurt the project, yes). But Mariah on her own can only really have the success of the tail end of 2014, the TEC shows and the Beacon Christmas shows. Her strength isn't managing. (Saturday 14 February 2015; 14:59)

How I would love to see #1's album (50,084) by T from USA Since this is a hits compilation album I would rather just see it being one disc with all the original 18 #1's. That leaves room on the CD for one more song. I'm fine with just one more song and I can wait for the bulk of new music with a new album in the future. Having all 18 on one disc would be a dream come true for fans and collectors alike. (PS. As an homage to the original release I would love to see a reverse order of the songs.) Me. I Am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse (47,978) by T from USA I think this is one of Mariah Carey's greatest albums. Everything about it, the production, the music, the lyrics, the vocals, the style, the variety. It can't be matched. Let's buy everyone we know a copy for Christmas and spread the good music. Songs from TEC for tour (46,843) by T from USA I hope she makes a statement (said in the vein of TAOLG) and performs 7 songs from the album. She can always tour a proper greatest hits tour in the future and it will always do well but this one has to have the intention of getting the album heard. It's such a good body of work. I'm hoping: 1. Cry 2. Faded 3. #Beautiful 4. Make It Look Good 5. You're Mine Eternal 6. You Don't Know What To Do 7. Meteorite Those would be the perfect representation of the album and would help sell copies imo. (Friday 19 September 2014; 3:10)

The Elusive Chanteuse tour set list (46,676) by T from USA To bump her sales from albums post Charmbracelet (which was the last time she toured many of these places), I would love this to be the set list. Mariah's fingers / IDJ (43,412) by T from USA I don't see anything wrong with Mariah's fingers. She has all the use of them as we see when she waves goodbye on David Letterman. She's just being eccentric. And I don't think she's leaving any songs off that are better for a future album. These song titles are the one's we've been hearing for years (except Save The Day). She's been tinkering with them and she added a few more but I do not think she has anything hidden for the next release. These are the songs she's been working on. And if she's saving anything it's a song called "Kick Rocks" from the E=MC2 era. (Saturday 10 May 2014; 0:09)
