I would prefer (68,606) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) At this point in Mariah's career I would prefer quality over quantity but if the quality and quantity could meet somewhere in the middle I would be more than happy. To be honest the ball is in Mariah's court and she can either make the shot or miss it entirely. But with that being said it does not change the fact that I am still thankful to Mariah for sharing her music and artistry with us all these years. Happy holiday season to my Archives family. Even though I may not like everything MC does I am thankful she is still here to share herself with us. To be honest she has already made her mark in pop history, she can easily call it day and retire and be fine for a few lifetimes. So rather than bash her for everything we should be grateful she still among us while we have her. That does not mean you have to like everything she does or wears but we should try and appreciate the being herself while we still can. Just food for thought. (Wednesday 23 November 2016; 1:52)

New album (68,481) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) While I am all for a great Mariah ballad I hope this will not be the entire formula for the new album. Mariah's strength has always been her mass appeal being able to satisfy the masses with array of genres and undertones. I think she should start the new era with a strong uptempo that has cross over appeal but knocks in the clubs, without being cheesy. To be honest Mariah pulling the pity herself card will not work because people don't feel sorry for a successful woman who has been spoiled and mean who broke up with her supposed Prince Charming. She needs to show her fun and humble side first, then hit the masses over the head with a nice classic MC ballad but the overall message of the album should be heartfelt and fun with MC showing herself as that serious artist that masses have missed. (New York City) While we all have made comments about Mariah as of late and for the most part comments have been negative which is granted by her actions have been questionable to say the least. Nick has been equally sloppy and trying to cover it up with his fake deep poetry, stupid turbans, and all his other nonsense. This baby thing is messy as he is having a baby with someone he has no interest on being with, also on another note in order for him to spend time with Roc and Roe Mariah has to pay the expenses yet he brags about his coins constantly. Also let's not forget he was seen around with various lady prospects since the breakup Nicole Murphy, Jessica White, Chilli who he refers to as his heart how convenient while having a baby with someone else. I say all that to say Nick is not angel and has been equally sloppy but try to cover it up with the political deep guy act don't be fooled people as we shall not be fooled when Mariah is out of pocket. (New York City) Honestly if all these recent publicity stunts are the brain child of Stella for me it is time for her to step aside and allow a manager and team who is competent and use to handling entertainers on the caliber of MC to step in. Also I have to question MC at this point because it's her talent, her image, and her brand being affected here. Mariah is a fully competent grown woman who can put a stop to all the nonsense being displayed lately inside Team Mariah so I just can't put all the blame on Stella I have to place equal blame on MC herself for all the extra nonsense going on with Team Mariah because she is the overall boss of this operation. Honestly if there was any sign of abuse MC did the right thing by leaving. On the other hand if all this is to drum up interest in Mariah's World I feel all parties involved are so corny and look very desperate. Honestly from where I am I believe if MC dropped the extra antics focused on her talent and limited herself to the yes men and side show she can easily regain her respect and reputation as a legendary icon and artist. (New York City) Another list made up by fans of a publication or site and as I have learned over time all lists today are subjective rather than based on actual facts. Another list that looks like a popularity or longest piss contest so I say to all of you stop getting worked up over these made up fan lists, as our girl has made her mark on this music game long before some of these lists and so called journalists were born. But props to Taylor Swift even though the world knows she can't hold a note to MC on Taylor's best vocal day, and MC's worst vocal day. (Monday 24 October 2016; 14:31)

All I want for Christmas Beacon 12/17/15 (67,432) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) I actually attended that show and I must say MC was amazing that night. Her vocals were on fire and her confidence was through the roof, and her personality was fun and enjoyable without being over the top. Also Christmas time in New York was born and it was one of the many highlights of the show that night. I appreciate my sister so much for getting us tickets for the show at the Beacon last year. What magic these two created is something special but it is in the past. There was some talk about them reuniting in 2013 by way of Randy Jackson but for whatever reason things fell through. When it comes to Mariah she has experimented with all different genres of music right now. I think she needs to go back just a little bit and give us a well rounded album with pop, quiet storm R&B, and a splash of A/C. (New York City) The new MJB song thick of it is something hardcore Mary fans have been wanting from her for a while now and it came at the right time with everything she is going through. Jazmine Sullivan is a very special talent with an amazing gift. This song is classic MJB but still sounds fresh and current. Now if our girl can give us something musically that is classic MC but still sounds current and all her ducks are in a row she will definitely see the results she is looking for. And side bar Miley is as fake as they come because at that same event Miley took a picture with Mariah and bragged about it like a fan girl on social media. So her latest stunt was nothing more than press for herself being a new coach on The Voice. Also why not target Mariah because whether good or bad her name can still garner press after all these years later? Miley should be thankful her name is even mentioned with the likes of Mariah Carey. (New York City) Every producer in the music industry is known for a signature style or sound it is just we know the Mariah/JD/BMC sound so well we have become weary of it. Take Usher's new album for example he went without the JD/BMC sound and his album is not fareing too well chart wise so I say that to say this no matter who an artist works with the material and art have to connect. Another prime example MC and HB (MIAM) Money and thirsty didn't work, while MC/JD (MIAM) did work "Make it look good, you don't know what to do". So for me it's all about the music, artist, producer and the connection that the music makes with the listener. Hopefully MC just takes her time with this new opus and makes great music and not try and chase what's on the charts. (Friday 30 September 2016; 7:02)

Also after listening to the song again I have to say this song fits perfectly with the Empire brand and sound. But something in my spirit tells me that the new album is going to be slow writing and recording process simply because Mariah is at a place where the general public is questioning her abilities and talent so I think this next album will be a special as well as an important body of work.
