When she did come back to MC30 though, it wasn't the same. Her management had also changed by then I guess and it wasn't as organised as the eras released during the first half of MC30. Re: MC30 (97,866) (97,868) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter What I mean obviously is she didn't finish the era by upgrading the videos from "Memoirs" like she did for all her previous eras. Similarly she didn't release the EPs and on from that era forward. When Liron was asked if MC is releasing Memoirs era soon, she replied with something like "not yet" in a teasing manner mimicking Mariah's "not yet" (during her "time for Christmas music" teaser videos). Which implied that she'll be releasing it soon. That lead to the whole internet thinking she's dropping the unreleased remix albums from that era (which I don't think she will). Also the Christmas special and "Oh Santa" remix wasn't part of MC30. She halted MC30 for a bit to focus on her Christmas ventures and then continued with it after then abruptly stopped before "Memoirs". (Wednesday 21 April 2021; 10:26)

Even in the remixes she says "honey you can have me when you want me". In the Morales remix and the original she says it in the beginning, in the JD remix she says even more clearly "oh honey you can have me when you want me", and then repeats it multiple times at the end. Oh my haha I spit my coffee out laughing. Honestly though I always thought Mariah and Nick would reconcile and get back together because of their history and the kids but now there isn't any chance. And it's for the better too I guess. Nick was so immature when they got married (leaking their phone numbers and all) I thought he'd become more mature with age and they'd get back together but clearly he's still out there being a mess. I wonder how Mariah feels. We all know once Mariah is done with someone she doesn't acknowledge them anymore but with Nick she really put the kids first and was civil. (Tuesday 13 April 2021; 22:42)

Old marketing trick makes you think you're paying less. Similarly being born in 1969 will make Mariah a "60's" baby, versus 1970 makes her a "70's" baby. So she sounds "younger". I don't know if my point is coming across properly. But this is very common. And like I said previously it's something most women face, ageism and the burden to be "young". So I can only imagine how much it matters in the glamour world of Hollywood where women have a shelf life. (Tuesday 6 April 2021; 17:32)

New late night Mimi session? (97,746) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter So there's this photo that was shared by Mariah's makeup artist showing that she was working late night and there's a whole set up. I then saw another rumor on an instagram page that she recorded new versions of "Breakdown", "The roof" and WBT for this session. I don't know how true this second rumor is. She just released a whole new version of WBT, so I would have preferred another song, but definitely here for "Breakdown" and "The roof". Two of my most favorite MC songs. I would've also loved "Babydoll". Such a masterpiece. "Butterfly" hands down is one of the most beautifully crafted albums in musical history. (Friday 2 April 2021; 18:22)

I am glad we got to hear the "Firecracker" version though since it's the basis of one of the biggest feuds in musical history. Big fan of "With You" though. I think the song is beautiful, has a lot of replay value. She looked gorgeous in the video but the video didn't have a lot of replay value outside of her fans. Not a strong first single though. I wish she'd kick of the era with "A No No" and gotten a hot feature for the remix. ANN would have been an amazing first single. (Friday 2 April 2021; 14:52)

I'm shook that this is such a big deal. It's 1 year. Plenty of people in the entertainment industry probably do it to be more marketable. Also I don't think Mariah ever outright said it's for sure 1970, so she was never lying. Just an omission, which isn't really deceptive (this part is aimed at Andrew claiming she's being deceptive). All the age debate is getting crazy, it's just 1 year, it's not like she's claiming to be 5 or more years younger. Also as a fellow woman, I can relate to girls wanting to kind of hide their age. That's why the whole "don't ask a lady their age" thing comes from. I know it sounds backdated but women do feel the pressure to "be younger" in more ways than one. And I imagine that pressure is more in the entertainment industry. That's my 2 cents. (Thursday 1 April 2021; 00:33)

Mariah featured in a celeb rating (97,664) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter For anyone interested, Laura Lee, a YouTube beauty guru recently made a video inspired by the viral tiktok trend of people rating celebs they've met based on their personality. Laura met Mariah back when Mariah had the collaboration with MAC and hosted this glamorous "girls night in/slumber party" with some beauty gurus. This is the video from 14:18-18:25 minutes she talks about Mariah and has only really nice things to say about her. She talks about how Mariah is like an open book and spilled tea on Nick and apparently answered anything she was asked. Which was surprising because in interviews she's always very good with just not answering questions she wants to avoid. Laura also talks about how Mariah just felt very genuine. There were a lot of celebs she mentioned with whom she had bad experiences but she went all out on praises for Mariah. (Monday 22 March 2021; 12:10)
