Same old stuff (43,577) by Carol from Spain One thing seems to bother me extremely: why are people commenting constantly on the same things, when all that should and does matter is the music? And the music is good, different and, most importantly: Mariah doesn't get stuck to one melody, one type of songs. Apparently Hit Boy teeted he didn't hear the song until today and he isn't crazy about it, but that's what I like about Mariah: this is her album so, this means the songs reflect her taste, no matter with who she collaborates. So the comments: stop writting "oh it's photoshop" or "oh she is fatter now" and listen. Best advise for some bloggers who pretend to be experts on the matter. (Wednesday 14 May 2014; 2:50)

Thirsty is right on the money (43,576) by Carol from Spain Loving Thirsty so much. The profuction, the vocals, the sound, the melody. All of it is absolutly catchy and with a summer feeling attached to it - totally addictive. No idea if I like the version with or without rap. Mariah never ever disapoints. Mariah needs unity, not a thorn apart fanbase like we're seeing here and everywhere. Anyway, she had her 5 minutes of fame and now she's forgotten. Concerned fan letter (42,513) by Carol from Spain This may have been (I'm sure it is) the most disrespectful thing I saw a fan do in 23 plus years. I know noone agrees with my idea of being a fan but what gives any fan the right to tell the artist how to live their life? JD and Mariah have nothing to prove to the likes of these people. And honestly? I'm afraid MC is releasing an album for thin air, since everyone is forgetting the essetial part of all this: the new music. If I was this girl, I would be ashamed. I hope JD answeres her and tells her to kiss her rear end. I know I would. This girl feels like she is the bomb now because she got a few hundred rt's but you know what? I'm accepting everyone's opinion but apparently the webmaster puts censored in my comments because he can't take mine. It looks like I cursed at someone here. Opinions are worth for what they are and I'm not buying fights with anyone, simply because we think differently about what being a fan should be. Standing my ground (42,141) by Carol from Spain I don't expect people to agree with me or my views on Mariah's artistry but I keep my ground: no one here has the right to tell Mariah how to sing, how to behave in public. You don't like a song, ok your business, but it's your job as fan to support the artist no matter what or don't cal yourself fans. The fanbase is devided and the US fans don't exist so, even if this album gets a 5 star review I can bet fans won't bother to buy it and I'm sure 90% of them will find flaws on the cover, on the lyrics, on the melodies, on everything. I personally choose to see her artistry and her amazing ability to create a song and appreciate the hardwork and her dedication to her work. This is not being delusional, this is what a fan does: supports. Unfortunally, not everyone agrees. And someone answered me that he/she was an expert on what you like. Well you're not a music expert to judge her. If you choose to buy the songs that are on the tops and forget to appreciate the obscure songs that's your business but don't come and tell me that's what a fan does. Laughing matter (42,095) by Carol from Spain Most of you people need to get a reality check on what being a fan means. It's alright to disagree with what she does but it's your job to support no matter what. I take my dedication very seriously but I'm far from delusional and I'm not going to public pages' page, including hers, calling her names. I leave that to the non believers. Now I do believe MC should listen to the ones that like her the way she is, instead of listening to a bunch of second degree crítics. Mariah believes in her music, she deserves the benefit of the doubt from me, the fan. Then there's the thing called constructive criticism. You can do that if you're an expert in the matter and if you are at her level. If not, keep opinions to yourselves. And, last time I checked, positive criticism should be saying something bad in a nice easy and all I see here is what you guys think she should do to please you, not herself as a musician. And like I said, Mariah has the worse fans on the planet because you are here when she is hot and disappear when she is not. The new album will be amazing and I can bet some here won't even buy it. Put on your thick skull Mariah will never do what everyone eles is doing. Accept it or don't call yourselves fans. It's your fault you didn't evolve with time, not hers. And calling MC a stuck up? I'm making a statement (42,062) by Carol from Spain I find it amazing how some just don't see nothing wrong with KP saying Mariah is a good throwback moment. You people let every insult pass by, because those insults reflect what you actually think of Mariah. I found it insulting and distasteful. I never liked Katy, but now I ignore her completly. I know any Mariah song is better then Katy's and the record she broke means nothing, since not all of Mariah's chart toping hits are accounted for. Now, what I can't stand people coming here and say Mariah's attitude towards other female singers is bad. Why is it bad? Most of the female singers say they admire her, but the first chance they get they throw shade at her. Mariah never insulted anyone I think, she talked about Madonna when Madonna said she would rather die then to be Mariah for one day; she ignores Christina's existence since Christina acted on Mariah on a private event. Is Mariah the bad person here? I don't think so. Regarding Ariana, why should we respect her? As an artist, she is still very tiny but it's upseting how she tries to copy MC on every aspect (even calling Patti her aunt vs Mariah's godmother) and denying to the world she is trying to be Mimi 2.0. I just think the so called "lambily" doesn't stand up for Mariah enough and that reflects the sales of the songs. I miss the times where you had to wait for things to be heard on the day of release. When music wasn't made like fast food and in a hurry. Why would she hint something now, if we're getting the album this spring and single next month? By keeping us in the haze, only proves how special this work is for her. Fans tought it was about music, she would never call "pip announcement " to a music release (every fan know that). Yes, like everyone else, I tought it was about music and I wished it was, but to go and call her all the curse words in the book, that is just desrespectful. Maybe Mariah doesn't give a damn, but put yourselves in her shoes and say: would you be glad to see something you consider important to you be considered stupid and non-relevant? That is just mean to her. Are these the type of people that are going to buy her record? Because if it is, I wish her good luck. It's the fans fault if they tought it was music related. Don't you think, if it was related to music, there would be something from JD too? Think before you act. Now, the way some people are lashing at Mariah, calling her [...] yesterday on twitter, are you for real? I mean, who didn't like it go away. And some are just ungrateful sons of [...] because some of us can't even apply to the contest. I would love to have a piece like this, an item that she wore on several number one songs, the MTV Unplugged and the Grammys. Are you kidding? Get a life and move along. The lambily is a mess because some are just to childish to deal with disappointment. If Mariah hits big, they'll come back running saying she is the best and I'll tell them to get off. Just because Mariah isn't on topping the charts some people think they got the right to criticize her. Honestly, I see nothing wrong with her intetviews beause she has been like that since her divorce. We should be excited for the album, making it the best return for her. I hope you guys remember that because everyone hating now will comeback running if she rules the charts. Remember that she needs you to rule the charts yet again. Beyonce's move (40,221) by Carol from Spain I actually didn't like most of the songs and the videos are just copies of one another. She got the element of surprise on her side and that's what makes the album sell. Quality wise? No, sorry doesn't do it for me. I admire Beyonce's courage in releasing it like this but I think she knows if she released the album conventionaly it wouldn't go nowhere. (Saturday 14 December 2013; 12:40)

It's not a big deal (40,087) by Carol from Spain I think Mariah already made enough amazing peformances in her life, so I believe fans can forgive her one less successful one. Why are some pages bitching all around? She got off on a rough start, but everyone sang off key that night and even Aretha playbacked. So what's the big deal? Calm down lambs. I actually didn't think it was so horrible and I even laughed through the end of the song because I wasn't expecting her to lose it. But it's ok, better luck next time. Sneak preview or RFC looked amazing (40,061) by Carol from Spain The Rockefeller performance sounds amazing and Mariah looks stunning. I love how she's embracing the long sleeved gloves, it looks classy on her. And the red dress with the white mini coat? How stunning is it? She is also so gogeous, isn't she? I love how the two little raw videos sound, now let's hope some low life sound editor doesn't ruin the whole thing cause that happened before, as we all know. I can't wait to watch it all now. I can't understand the lambily (40,048) by Carol from Spain Why do people keep attacking JD? Why do people (not to say fans) keep attacking TAOLG? This was never meant to be a radio song. This was supposed to be a release for the fans only. You expect too much when Mariah never promissed anything. She promissed a song close to her heart, that should be enough for the fans at least. Latest live performances (39,937) by Carol from Spain Regarding Mimi's latest performances, BET was mostly lipped due to a last minute change, you can look for the explanation given by the president of BET when the network celebrated its anniversary. I don't consider that much of a big deal, actually. Mariah can lip TV performances as much as she wants, that doesn't make her imperfect, makes her human. Live above it, people. Good Morning America: The whole thing was live, with imperfections at 8 am, she still did it. It was dubbed later on for the re-run of the show, but I believe that it was the best live performance of WBT. everyone remembers that one, forget the rest. Queen right there. HOT97 Summer Jam was completly live, improvised but live. Nothing to say. AI Performance, what was wrong with that? Nothing, live but poorly edited by AI people. Some heads should roll with that one. Jimmy Fallon was completly priceless: runs, high notes, chest and head voice. The one and only bad ass chick MC. Australia Tour de Force was completly unpredictable and the proof that the world still needs a Mariah Carey tour. Mariah has it, Mariah can do it. let her be herself in her music. Relax, will you ? (39,932) by Carol from Spain Discussions over stupid stuff. This is why I don't go to forums much: fans argue about the chart topping stuff istead of music content. She delivered a powerful son, a beuatiful song, can't you just enjoy it and be gone with it? It's enough when some pages discuss the fact TAOLG didn't get airplay this week, forgetting the song was never released to the radios (or chosing to ignore it). Just don't demand too much of Mariah, i think she earned the benefit of the doubt. Personally, I'm just glad she is still eager to make and deliever music, not following trends. Or what do they want from Mariah anyway, bcause the old Mariah everyone seems to love isn't coming back no matter how you put it. Competition keeps releasing trash and even Riri is getting an icon award at the AMA's for a reason unknown to the mankind and American listeners just keep on litening to crap. I understand she changed, I accept you don't have to like everything she does (altough I don't agree with that), but the problem is US fans stopped caring for Mariah. You just did.
