TAOLG part II (39,807) by Carol from Spain Unlike many, I think it's a big deal to post the wrong version of TAOLG. Not for me, but for her, as an artist and being a person that likes to control every aspect of her work, i understand it's a big deal. Yes, the nuances are very small, but she had a vision to show us the song and it got screwed up but God knows who. I wouldn't like to be the engineer or the person that gave her the news, but I guess I would also crawled up on the floor too if my vision got disturbed by incompetence. Either way, I like both versions. Yet again, here it is another token of Mimi's artistry: she could just let it go and put the right version on the album and don't mention the slip, but she wants us to know what's going on every step of the way. Mariah can do no wrong (39,717) by Carol from Spain This song is way perfect. Naturally some feel it is too simple. Iguess she can't please the whole world. For me, the song is flawless - the lyrics, the voice, the not so over produced sound. Basically, the whole thing is beyond perfect. Actually, the arrangement kinda reminds me of VOL alot. Some say it's not radio friendly, I say otherwise because it's so different from everything out there that people will opne their ears. This is an anthem for life. (Monday 11 November 2013; 19:20)

Right now she has over 91,000 people talking about her, beating artists like Rhianna, Beyonce and Bieber. Mariah always causes interest, especially in a time where music is so degrading with the likes of Miley, Bieber and Rhianna. Bring on the good music. (Sunday 3 November 2013; 20:40)

Mariah and Stevie Wonder (39,648) by Carol from Spain Mariah and Stevie. (Let me breath.) The feelings going trough me, the toughts of how absolutly amazing this could be. Can you believe this? Honestly, this is the perfect duet partner for Mariah. A classic tune is coming, maybe another song of the decade (crossing my fingers). Yes, I can dream about it. Past and Future (39,627) by Carol from Spain Still regarding my previous post, I'm just saying that we should let her be the way she wants to be. What most of you doesn't realize is that the real Mariah Carey is the one we met in 1997, the urban chick with flavour for Pop, Hip Hop and RnB, not the one who was covered up to her neck. She unleashed her sexier side in 97 and never gave it up. People are free to like or deslike her attitude, her looks, but that also applies to her. She can't be what everyone wants her to be, she has to be herself in her music. I believe her new album is going to be amazing and probably, the most personal record yet. 11.11 is around the corner for the first taste. (Thursday 31 October 2013; 17:22)

Let the past be past (39,625) by Carol from Spain Some people need to stop living in the past and accept Mariah how she is. I've said this before here. Mariah is a superstar in her own right, she would make it with Tommy or with him and I agree with lamb_O_Chop about the influence Tommy had on her music or success. Mariah hates some her first songs because they were overproduced by Sony. The 90's are gone and people need to accept what she wants to do, because I think we all understood already that Mariah will not change her style, because the majority of people doesn't like it. She has her own thing. She wants to be etternally 12? So be it. Or she wants to wear laced swimmsuits on the covers? Good for her! The photos are photoshopped yes, but everyone does it and in worse ways. Fans need to accept her the way she is and leave alone all these criticis. (Thursday 31 October 2013; 16:06)

Are you for real? (39,448) by Carol from Spain Let me see if i get this right. Some so called fans think Mariah's injury was a publicity stunt? Or worse, you think it didn't happen? Are some of you for real? Do you guys believe Mariah would go that far and endure slings, pain and God knows whatever for publicity? And I'm the one who gets booed for calling some of you posers. We all know Mariah is very cautious with her image, but she never stood there and said "Feel sorry for me and buy my album", simply because she doesn't need it. Whatever is coming, it's big, we all can predict that. Now, if it will sell, it will depend on the market, the promotion and, most importantly the fans. Instead of writting rubbish about if her injury was or not this or that, why don't some of you focus on the new music she's done and will show us soon (I hope)? It would be alot more productive. I was upset that she postponed the album, but she is a grown woman and she knows what she's doing. As fans, lambs or whatever, we should support and wait, hoping always for a killer album. Mariah always makes us wait for a reason and she never disapoints. Apparently the twins will feature in the songs. Stars in the making. JD and managing Mariah (39,414) by Carol from Spain I wonder why some lambs are just dissing JD's ability to manage Mariah. This can go either way: Or they are successful at it or they loose big time. I believe it will be a hit because JD is probably one of the persons in the industry that better knows Mariah and her talent as a singer, songwritter and producer. No one better to promote her work than a person that participated in the work. I think people should give him a chance, and don't forget he's is responsible for some of her greatest hits. I can't wait for it (39,342) by Carol from Spain Mariah is coming, I do believe. I don't understand all this critcism to her work lately - too much hip hop, too many feat and so on. It's not like she has something to prove. She is taking her time, good for her and for us. Why are people so afraid? what are people afraid of? Off with the criticism, will you? If she releases the album and it goes to number one, everyone criticizing now will say it was worth the wait and how wonderful she is. If it doesn't, then everyone will bash the woman down - typical for some "fans". And yes, you should critcize, should demand, but go light on it please: the woman is enjoying motherhood, her marriage, had a serious injury. In terms of music, Mariah was the last trendsetter (not sure if this is how you write it, sorry). if we see music these days, what Gaga does was done by Madonna over 30 years ago. What Katy and Britney do is not unique also. No one dares anymore, no one thinks of new ways to create new sounds, except for Mariah. She never goes in the direction everyone is going, simply because she is smarter. (Sunday 8 September 2013; 13:33)

New label... now we're talking (39,222) by Carol from Spain It was obvious for all that something was going on, besides her injury. Now we have no doubts. I believe the album will be out sonner than expected, now that she got IDJ out of the way. IDJ can thank Mariah for her record of 14 weeks on top of the Bilbbboard and for giving them their most successful album on the label so far - none of their other acts that sell more these days ever done it. I hope now lambs start believing a bit more and give this album a chance because I'm sick and tired of so much crap hearing fans say she's floping. Where's your faith? Postponment, it's fine with me (39,003) by Carol from Spain I consider this postponement a blessing in disguise. If you remember, she hurt herself after she announced it. Imagine if this happened while promoting the album. I think fans should be a bit more patient and give Mariah the benefiet of the doubt, she earned it, at least from her fans. I have no problem in waiting for the album a few more months. I trust her. Instead of criticizing so much, we should unite ourselves around her and show the world we're a cohesive fanbase. Looking In was a strong statement (38,678) by Carol from Spain Mariah never ceases to amaze me. Not ever. This surprise of Looking In. I'm speechless, indeed I am. she was perfect in every way. Just one thing: In my heart I believe she sang Looking In for the haters to tell them "I'm hurt by your comments and I can sing. You'll never know the real me." This was for me the ultimate statement. Mariah is unique and a legend and legends don't need to prove anything to anyone. My queen still has it, I just hope people respect her more in the future, while she still lives, because after she's dead she doesn't need it at all. (Monday 15 July 2013; 0:26)

The Art delayed (38,360) by Carol from Spain I'm not disapointed that she delayed the album. I'm sad. I'm anticipating this album like no other in 23 years of loving this woman and, for me, this was such a big blow that I'm actually crying as I write this post at 4 am. I did not see this coming. New era, the race is on (38,158) by Carol from Spain Ok, so it's 2:20 am and i just got off work. Arrived home and logged on to the internet to check on the news and here it was, 7/23 the new era is coming. I must say I am absolutely freaking excited and counting the days already. This will be Mariah's first summer release since Music Box (or am I wrong?). I have high hopes for this album, not in terms of critical acceptance, but in quality. I know Mariah is often overlooked for her most obscure work, but I'm hoping to find new music gems on this one. Freaking excited, that's how I am. #MC7232013 (Thursday 6 June 2013; 4:24)

Lee (37,531) by Carol from Spain I honestly like the way she speaks. She is cohesive and she points out the strenghts and weaknesses of the voices. She is not a coach, like you said, but most people want her to behave like one. If Mariah says to a contestant "Your voice is more for Pop", "you're more country", I consider that insight and positive criticism. For garbage comments, we got Nicki all over it. If Mariah talked about the wardrobe most of the times and hair, then she would be considered hollow. That's not Mimi at all. She doesn't need to say much to get her point across. Too nice? (37,526) by Carol from Spain I wonder why people want to see Mariah being bad to the contestants. Maybe it's because the tabloids are eager to find a motive to point a finger at her. Personally, I think Mariah delivers on Idol, she is who she is .And, beyond this she is showing to everyone that she isn't this bad person that most people think. I hope Mariah doesn't return for a second season, one season is enough of this. I hate the fact people don't give her enough credit and always look for a motive to attack her. Iust hate it.
