Apparently I'm in the minority, as Adele just doesn't do much for me. She does have a beautiful voice, however I just never really feel a connection to her music/performances. Certainly not the same emotions I feel when listening to say Mariah or Whitney. I just think Adele is way overrated. (Saturday 24 October 2015; 23:00)

I remember seeing the making of the Heartbreaker video in 1999 and thinking how much larger her breasts looked. I believe she got the implants around that time. Re: Why You Mad? thoughts (55,860) (55,865) by Mike from FL, USA This song has really grown on me. I can't get the beat or Mariah's "baby why you mad, go on tell me why you mad" out of my head. Call me crazy but I haven't got these "goosebumps" moment for a new Mariah single/remix in a while. It seems like since around the Triumphant "era", it's taken me a dozen listens to get on board with anything she's released. Excluding MIAM, of course. I still cry every time I hear Camouflage. I completely got off point lol. What I was trying to say is that I was hooked with WYM after the second listen which is a feeling I haven't gotten from a Mariah song since E=MC2 and Memiors. To be completely honest, I haven't felt it like this since first hearing WBT and DFAU. Those were the days. Haha. Don't get it twisted though, I enjoy almost every song this woman has ever put out, and have favorites from every album like everyone else, but I've missed this feeling. Sorry for the long posts, I'm just excited that Mariah has been reminding me lately why I've been a fan since day one and will always be. (Sunday 9 August 2015; 22:52)

Because she's written so many amazing songs over her 25 year career, I have a hard time believing that she's incapable of coming up with a new, fresh sound. It was only ten short years ago that she introduced us all to Mimi and her masterpiece, TEOM. Who's ready for a new era? That 19th #1 is sooooo overdue. (Sunday 9 August 2015; 3:36)

Vegas 7/22/15 The One (55,850) by Mike from FL, USA I love how Mariah went off on her little tangent at the beginning of I'll Be There and sang a little bit of The One. It was never really one of my favorite songs until she performed it live (the only time she's performed it live, I believe) on the Shining Through The Rain MTV special. From that moment on, it has been one of my absolute faves. Those whistles at the end are what I imagine one would hear upon arriving at the pearly gates of heaven lol. I seriously can't wait to see her in February, and watching all of the newest videos of Vegas on YouTube is not helping to quell my anticipation. I live for these little impromptu vocal moments and they make me love Mariah more and more. One other thing, does anyone know if there are any meet-and-greet or vip tickets/packages being offered for any of the Vegas shows? I didn't see any mention on the Caesars website of these being offered, but I could have swore she did meet-and-greets at the first group of Vegas shows. (Sunday 9 August 2015; 2:31)

Actually a co-worker showed me the TMZ article today and followed it up with "See, this is why I don't like her anymore." It just got me thinking that's all. High school reunion (55,782) by Mike from FL, USA I love Mariah but what's with the comment that she made to TMZ saying she wouldn't attend anything she didn't create herself. It's comments like these that make her seem un-relatable and as if she thinks she's better than everyone else. She can dance, I'll give her props there, but I can't for the life of me understand how she came to secure 20 Grammys.
