About Me. I am Carly from USA : Huge Mariah fan, my moment of realization was her Thanksgiving concert, the first time she sang Hero, I watched it on t.v. My face pressed against the screen and that was it. I always dreamed of meeting M and it was even in my high-school yearbook, that I loved her haha weird! I moved to NYC and the first time I met her was at the butterfly sighting I have seen her and gone to countless shows since. Sunshine lambs forever.

Mariah before the [censored] (42,203) by Me. I am Carly from USA It really is hard to blame Mariah as she is only human like the rest of use. She like any other person, doesn't seem to realize that her beauty lies in her realness and her true self. Before the [censored] and the [censored] she was naturally gorgeous. If she has a hard time being her age maybe we need to look at how she grew up and just be thankful that she is healthy. I will say as I have said it before I do not miss early nitrites Mariah actually it pisses me off because she burned herself out. Mariah clearly always had low self esteem. I think for someone in her position it is quite something to be as sane as she is but I will always expect more from her because she is stronger than many and if she wants something I don't think anybody dare get in her way. Where is Mariah recording last of album? (41,961) by Me. I am Carly from USA Where is Mariah going in the latest picture anybody recognize the sign behind her, curious if she is in Capri now. BTW I am getting thumbs down for nothing, it doesn't even make sense what people are thumbing down for. Can we just have a thumbs up, anybody will know that if they get no likes that means no one likes the comment. The negativity of thumbs down is useless (giving myself 13 thumbs up). Focused finishing album (41,886) by Me. I am Carly from USA Mariah just posted that she "isn't coming back until the album is finished" because she is "focused". That is exactly what I suspected and yes, I was saying that she had very successful last minute songs, I just get the sense there is some tension when she says she hasn't played certain songs for the record company, and that she has promised it will be ready in time. Response to "where's Mariah" (41,883) by Me. I am Carly from USA I totally hear you, M probably has herself on a very tight schedule because she decided to add new songs. My guess is that the record company isn't too pleased with the last minute stuff, and probably has yet to hear it fully. (Maybe she thinks the leaks are coming from inside?) It is one thing to have all the negative press of the current songs but to have an album bomb is a whole other thing. It is unlikely that a few new songs will make or break her album at this point but then again remember she had last minute songs go number one on already pressed albums so maybe she is bringing in the big guns now that she knows what the singles are doing and what the word on the street is. Can't beat me, join them (41,831) by Me. I am Carly from USA Mariah can't beat the young kids she needs to get on the wagon and befriend them. I think it would be hilarious if we did get a (updated) Heartbreaker/Obsessed acting moment where Mariah maybe had some of the other little divas in the land (even Nicki, Lady Gaga) as her cohorts. Imagine Nicki and so Ariana being cohorts against diva M. Oh I would die. (Thursday 27 February 2014; 17:19)

Concept video I would love (41,830) by Me. I am Carly from USA The video I would love to see, would have Mariah playing herself in a bunch of different roles (different wigs sort long). So you would have Bastille diva Mariah against normal woman Mariah. We would see Mariah in her old jobs as a kid. She is sweeping hair and the diva Mariah comes in and tells her she missed a spot. We would see the coat check girl giving diva Mariah her huge fur coat (only she would be chewing gum and smile as she hands the coat bag, putting her chewed gum in the pocket). We would have Long Island Mariah waitressing and she would be serving the awful diva Mariah food turn away and roll her eyes. I wanna see some choreography to like a Heartbreaker moment. I think people love a concept video and with Mariah doing double roles playing up the diva demands and rumors and behavior people would eat it up in my opinion. (Thursday 27 February 2014; 17:14)

You're Mine is not the problem (41,828) by Me. I am Carly from USA I do not believe that the quality of You're Mine is at all the problem, I think this is a fresh sparkling song if not the best radio release. I love the song for what it is, a smooth sweet song that makes me feel like I am sitting on the beach with a sweet drink. I also like that it takes Mariah in a nice direction away from the really overly colab whisper stuff. I totally agree that it is too quiet though to entice a huge audience. You must look at someone like JLo to see that a cute song can be huge with the right image and promo, and I can name a million others who are pretty singers who don't dance and the image is enough to garner success. Diane Martel (41,781) by Me. I am Carly from USA I would love to see Mariah's next video directed by Diane Martel. She worked on The Roof and many other great Mariah videos. She also just did the Miley Cyrus video "We can't stop" so she is still quite relevant. (Wednesday 26 February 2014; 18:10)

Mariah's full spectrum. (41,778) by Me. I am Carly from USA I love Long Island accent Mariah, I love Wise Girls Mariah. I don't enjoy sugar soaked Mariah and I really find the diva thing so played out and artificial. My fav moments are The Roof, Wise Girls, The Emancipation Of Mimi concerts. Paul, I agree (41,775) by Me. I am Carly from USA I love how she looks when she really sings haha. I totally agree with you. I wish she knew how emotive and wonderful it is for the fans. She can do it again (41,737) by Me. I am Carly from USA Nobody can convince me that anybody can hold Mariah down. The last time I started to buy into that it was a big mistake. The only real difference between this new album and future Mariah albums is Mariah's team/image and her state of mind after becoming a mother and wife. Mariah's performances (when I saw them live) were also up and down with prerecording in the Emancipation era and she had plenty of young competition. But with a marked goal to show up she made the Emancipation era, she pulled in Benny and Leon talley and the big boys and girls of entertainment. (Tuesday 25 February 2014; 20:13)

Mariah don't be more petty than Tom (41,725) by Me. I am Carly from USA I seriously think the number one thing Mariah needs is an image overhaul. I think JD adds a great element but bring in some teeth. The first thing I would do (not because M was wrong but for image) is have Mariah and Nikki perform together (at a Mariah show) or at the very least be seen chatting, it would be huge for Mariah to take the high road and show she isn't catty. I would even have Mariah say listen I may not like certain artists personally but I can always appreciate talent. I think Mariah has been painting herself in a corner due to (warranted mind you) ego. Expected a very happy album (41,722) by Me. I am Carly from USA It seems a bit presumptions to speak about the album before it has even come out, but one thing that I was expecting I guess was a happier tone, I imagined that having her babies and hubby and all that would be such a stellar happy situation for her. I understand that marriage is hard and being a mom is hard and I suppose this is why we will get many different angles and the journey she speaks of. (Tuesday 25 February 2014; 17:08)

Reboot of You're Mine video (41,721) by Me. I am Carly from USA I totally agree that Mariah should do a reboot which I messages to JD haha. But I would love to see them use straight shots of the background as filler because the break away shots during the BET show are not great, And ofcourse close with the glitter falling. I love the background stuff because she is moving quite a lot and being swirled around. Also no one can deny that dress it was her biggest statement lately and she is beyond words in it. More interesting hmm (41,682) by Me. I am Carly from USA I am wondering why Achy Break's Heart 2 is higher on the charts that You're Mine. I also see that there are quite a few people of Mariah's age that are charting. Every time I think about that I just want Mariah's album to come out and destroy everybody else. I can't help but think that Mariah because she is a living legend is just less flexible these days and considered hard to work with. (Monday 24 February 2014; 23:28)

A hair cut would scream confident (41,654) by Me. I am Carly from USA Cutting your hair is a statement in a way, it usually says that you are confident enough to change. I think it would look great on M if was shoulder length (keep in mind she could always put in some fake hair if she hates it as she has always used pieces) but more than anything I think it would be good for Mariah as a person to take a chance and that it would be seen in a positive light in the media. Her hair was quite short in the few years before she made her first, album and was cute. (Monday 24 February 2014; 1:05)

Growth is painful (41,591) by Me. I am Carly from USA I believe that Mariah must feel a bit left behind by being with a young energetic guy like Nick, not to mention that she is a mother and a wife, it must be hard in a way for someone like her who used to be flitting all over the place like Nick to be in a completely different world in many ways. I think that all the hardship is probably good for her as long as she chooses to grow because of it. I imagine it must be hard for Mariah also to have a husband who appears to have had a very solid childhood. I think Mariah is being forced to confront a lot about herself. Mariah is trying (41,589) by Me. I am Carly from USA As she states in the PLJ interview she is trying, trying to answer questions, reigning back the instant negativity in her answers, stating her appreciation and admitting she needed a few days of sleep. I really enjoyed the interview and she didn't dashing the whole time or drink at all. Very nice. Very mature interview. I enjoyed the tidbits: 3 new songs added over the last 2 months " for a reason". And she is mixing now but still set for May 6th. Songs with "total misery" to get her feelings out over many "issues" she has been dealing with. Without all the distraction Mariah is clearly having a rough time and had a heck of a year good for her now I hope we can see some healing and happiness come back. (Friday 21 February 2014; 18:02)

Mariah seems really annoyed (41,543) by Me. I am Carly from USA Although I posted about the possibility of this being her last album, I just don't really believe that. Isn't this her last album for her current company? Maybe that is where this last thing is really stemming from. Do you all remember one of the recent interviews in which she stated (paraphrasing) that she did not like leaving the studio to do promo? To me this is her way of saying that the company she is with is not helping and she has to do all the leg work which I think pisses her off. I think she is all very upset about ageism.
