About Paul from Usa: Love MC

Isaac Ortiz Mariah Carey (42,026) by Paul from Usa
I searched his name along with Mariah's and found his google plus account. He is a nasty foul mouth boy. He leaves some nasty feedback to people online. Glad he's gone. He was bringing negative energy in my world.

Webmaster (42,024) by Paul from Usa
Thanks for banning Isaac. I'm sure he will be back. [Webmaster: I don't think he will be back. See what he wrote about me in his last message (warning, there's some explicit language): "Fuck you webmaster. Rotten little prick. And Edward's dumb ugly faggot ass. I bet you don't even have a job. You spend your whole life one the net and have it wrapped around this this site. Have a nice life on the net. Loser." He's right in one thing, most of my life I spend on the internet. But that is because it's my job. I'm the director of a successful company and we're specialized in webbased management systems and websites. I have that job since 1998 and I bought the company I worked for in 2004, so now I'm the owner.]

You are spot on in your last post about Isaac. Scroll though my profile and you'll see where I called him out a few weeks ago. He has a hard time letting others say how they feel, and quite often tells people that their opinion is wrong. What the heck? I just ignore his silly posts, hit the thumbs down and move on.

Mariah's management (41,871) by Paul from Usa
I believe she should be managed by a professional who's been in the business for a while. I believe she has an issue with being told what to do, and that's why her managers quickly burn out. There's a rumor that she's gone through a bunch of nannies already, this probably stems from Tommy Motola's controlling personality. I think it's a terrible idea to let her husband or friends act as management, she needs to keep her relationship with her manager professional.

What I want from Mariah (41,860) by Paul from Usa
Thus post is kinda off subject, but hear me out. YME gas grown on me, I think at first I was like "what is this?" I expected an uptempo song like fantasy, honey, heartbreaker. Etc. something fun. I would say I love YME but I could definitely be ok with it if it wasn't a single. I watched Seth Meyers opening show and discovered this amazing band called "A Great Big World" the performed a song called "Say Something" (not Mariah's song) haha, I recommend looking up this particular performance if you can. Lyrically the song is very simple, but very deep, it could have many interpretations. The guy is very funky looking, but he's singing his heart out, and very passionate. The reason I am bringing this up because it reminds me of how simple the lyrics are of YME. I hope you're following me with this post. I want success for Mariah, I want a strong comeback so I can see shove it in all the people who doubted what she's capable of. I just wish she'd break out of this RnB and hip hop cycle and explore other genres of music. Sometimes I feel she's in a genre all her own. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Check out the original video too. Goes to show a tight budget can be very moving. I could totally see Mariah singing a song like this.

Promote / IDJ / BET Honors continued (41,838) by Paul from Usa
That BET performance was embarrassing. The whole show was in honor of Aretha Franklin, her boobs look like a body builders pecs in that dress. Spice it up Mariah. Learn some dance moves. That performance was not classy. I felt she seemed lost in her performance, not knowing how to act. We as "lambs" need to understand that our opinions aren't the only ones that matter. I love her. I really do. That's why I'm coming here to express my opinions, I'm usually pretty quiet although I visit frequently. Mariah is headed down the wrong road with her career.

Promote / IDJ support (41,835) by Paul from Usa
You can promote a song until your blue in the face, but if people aren't feeling it, it's not gonna happen. I've been saying this from the get go. And everyone said I was wrong. Look past your admiration for Mariah, and think about how an average person hears YME. Most people I talk do not like the new Mariah, they want 90's Mariah back. They joke and laugh about how revealing her clothes are. IDJ and Mariah struck a deal when they signed Mariah on that she'd have full rein over her career. She hasn't exactly produced hits like she used to, so it makes sense they are not investing in her anymore. This is a sure sign that they probably will not pick her back up when her contract is up. I really don't understand why Mariah hasn't taken the advice of Prince and funded her own albums without a label. Madonna has done the same. Cut out the middle man, you know? She's really darnishing her reputation with all these crazy antics, immature interviews, sexy outfits, and lip syncing performances.

Twitter and tracklist (41,807) by Paul from Usa
Has anybody dared to go to twitter and search "Mariah Carey"? Would anybody else be disappointed if the last 5 songs were part of the new album? And only get about 7 additional songs we've never heard before? I think as a gift they should be on another disc, accompanied with this album, or bonus tracks at the end of the CD. I think we all agree based on charts that "Beautiful" was the successor over the others, and that was released last summer. What do you all think?

Lamb-o-chop (41,784) by Paul from Usa
What else am I supposed to talk about? She's heavily primitive on this song. As of lately every time we hear about her it's based around YME. Am I supposed to come up with fake album and song titles? The first song released from an album is supposed to be the very best to appeal to a broader audience. I'm just concerned. Is this the best she had for us from an album she's worked on for 3+ years, and has pushed back the release time and time again? Of all the songs released thus far, Almost Home I think is the best. I think the video is tastefully done, wish if got more recognition. I'm still baffled as to why it was ever associated with OZ but it wasn't used in the movie, think that could've helped. In my mind I'm wondering what is going on with her career, who's calling these shots etc.

BET Honors (41,765) by Paul from Usa
I just watched the performance. It was lip synced. It's exactly the radio version. Mariah doesn't look pretty when she actually sings live. She makes weird faces, she does the crazy hand moments, all that stuff is involuntarily. She does that stuff because she has to make it sound good, probably a lot like the way Celine Dion beats on her chest. So let's all stop denying that it wasn't lip synced. Again, I'm terribly disappointed with this song, I'm sure everyone knows that by now, the performance was just as boring. Mariah in the background was overkill. I know a lot of singers lip sync live performances if the choreography is intense, or they're sick etc. Why did Mariah? Fans and non-fans have taken to twitter about this, even the media in a bad way. Our girl is in trouble.

Isaac is a Regina George (41,757) by Paul from Usa
Remember the movie "Mean Girls"? Now raise your hand if you have ever been personally victimized by Isaac Ortiz. Webmaster and other MCA members, is it me or is Isaac trolling the message board? We all have a right to express our own views and opinions here. If you don't agree fine, hit the thumbs down and explain, but it's not your job to tell people that our views are wrong, and we're mean, and we need to stop being so hard on Mariah etc. If you click on Isaac's profile it's message after message of him correcting people's opinions. It's really annoying and not because he responded to me personally, but the way he attacks everyone who doesn't drop on their knees and praise every thing Mariah does. My 2 cents. Thanks for listening.

Issac (41,756) by Paul from Usa
You should probably go back and re read what I wrote in my post. I praised Mariah alot. You are delusional if you think today's Mariah is up to par with older Mariah, even after 1997. Mariah doesn't have the same work ethics, and enthusiasm as she one did. The last few singles haven't stuck with an audience outside of her "lambs", and the charts prove that. You extreme lambs kept saying, "Wait until the song reaches the radio, it will go number one, it will climb the charts." The song tanked. Isaac you've convinced me that Mariah could belch every song on an entire album, and you'd rush out and buy it. I love Mariah, but I'm not going to buy a single or an album that I do not enjoy. If you received crumby service from a waitress would you tip her, I wouldn't. But maybe you would, because it's only $10, it won't set you back. right? This isn't about setting me back $10 or $5,000. I'm not satisfied as a fan, as a "lamb", as a customer, because that's what we are, customers. She makes music, and she sells her music to us. Hey, you like the song, and the other ones, good for you. But I'm entitled to my opinions just like you are. FYI, it's the webmaster's job to post and enforce the rules of this message board. Not yours.

I agree with ObscureOpulence, which is why I don't like YME (41,718) by Paul from Usa
Mariah writes some of the most beautiful melodic melodies and lyrics. She truly has a voice of an angel in my opinion. When I hear her sing, it's like a lullaby that calms a baby, I get so relaxed, excited, I feel happy. I love to sing along, hit the high notes, even though I'm a horrible singer. Haha. I rag on Mariah because I know, and you know she has the capability to do so much better. Seems lately a lot of her songs have this weird writing pattern, where the lyrics are bland, the song isn't so enticing, and the songs are short. A little over 3 mins. I absolutely, completely dislike You're Mine (Eternal). It sounds like nails on a chalkboard to me. I don't hear any passion in her voice or the lyrics. Mariah has a special recipe for song writing and that voice. Oh my goodness that voice. She hasn't lost it, she's just not using it so much. Look at all these recent live Christmas performances, she was belting out those Christmas carols. As a fan, I expect more from her, a fan of over 20 years, who's supported her alot. I've purchased most of her cd singles and all her albums, but recently, these last 5 singles I haven't. If I do not enjoy the music I refuse to spend my hard earned cash on what I feel is garbage. If this album is doesn't sound to good I will not buy it, I think a a lot of fans feel the same way. Step up to the plate Mariah.

JD (41,468) by Paul from Usa
Mariah needs to dump him on the curb. I've never been a fan of JD. Frankly I think he's a bit whack, and not as "hood" as he makes himself put to be. Regardless, I think it's good to work with a variety of producers so that when your brainstorming the result won't be the same.

Edward (41,467) by Paul from Usa
I really doubt Mariah would record a song that she didn't write, unless she was doing a cover, or somebody she truly admires. Patti Labelle, Aretha, Diana, etc wrote a song specifically for her to sing. She holds herself, and other singer/songwriters in a whole other realm than people like Britney Spears and Rihanna, they barely have a voice to mention, yet they gave hits over and over again. These songs are specifically written to be hits, and apply to the masses. I will say I'm glad Mariah hasn't stooped to that level. If she sang a generic, lifeless song like "Rude boy" just to have a hit, I think I'd boycott her.

Does Mariah watch herself? (41,466) by Paul from Usa
I've always wondered if Mariah watches herself on interviews, concerts, TV etc after they air. And I always wondered what she thinks of herself when she does see it. Have you ever seen yourself on video and thought, "wow that was dumb"?Or "why did I do that" or "I could've done better". I know a lot of celebrities avoid digging to deep in their own media to avoid seeing any hateful comments from critics such as ourselves. So what do you guys think?

Edward (41,431) by Paul from Usa
I have to disagree with your statement to Stephen about "You're Mine (Eternal)": "I think this is a good song, but many people are judging it based on chart success and not on quality." It's not a quality song. It sounds bad, nothing special lyrically or creative to it. Sounds like it was pieced together really quickly. I've read numerous posts stating this here and on YouTube. And the video is terrible, I don't think it helps the livelihood of the song. I also wouldn't compare this song to WBT. The song was creative. A vocally exciting song. Mariah sang her heart out on that track, and the video was "stellar". My two cents.

Mariah on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon (41,430) by Paul from Usa
She came out and paid her debt with many others who lost a bet that Jimmy would never host The Tonight Show. Enjoy.

A quote for Mariah (41,344) by Paul from Usa
"Too much ego will kill your talent." I love Mariah, but I'm honestly getting annoyed and sickened by her diva-ish, all attention on me attitude. Last I checked she wasn't born into the royal family, so why does she strut around like she's a queen?Look I've been a fan since 1993. I was at one point a super obsessed fan, and I thought everything she did was perfect. But these last few years I've lost a ton of respect for her. I don't believe she's passionate about music and her career. I don't think she has a open mind when it comes to exploring other avenues. I see her tarnishing her reputation by these awkward, all over the place interviews, numerous bad performances (lip syncing, bad voice, wardrobe malfunctions). What does she give back to society anymore? She has the means to help others, give to charity, to take a stand against things she believes in. Equality for gays (huge fan base) poverty (she's been there), woman's rights. I think what bothers me most as of lately is how she's copped out and performed for another dictator after she got backlash the first time. I'm so tired of it being all about this provocative, sexual image, I'm so tired of hearing how she insists on having 12 dozen white roses, 5 white kittens etc in her hotel room. That the lighting and temperature have to be a certain degree, and she's must have sparking water in her toilet before she'll take a squat. I'm absolutely repulsed by it anymore. Please don't attack. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Mariah lost her work ethic (41,272) by Paul from Usa
Sadly this song is a flop. I'm terribly disappointed. I expected more after 4 years of waiting and 3 lackluster singles before this one. Retire or step up to the plate.

Covers (40,481) by Paul from Usa
I've always said Mariah Carey should put her spin on "Unchained Melody". But I recently heard "Falling Slowly" by Damian McGinty (I know it's not original to him) but I believe she could really make these songs, hers. What do you all think? And what song would you like to see mariah cover?

Incredible video! (40,480) by Paul from Usa

A video that speaks about how tiny our earth is in our universe. When it mentions "Stars" a clip of mariah carey appears. What an honor. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
