About Jenny from South Africa: I love reading and listening to music. Celine and Mariah are my favourite singers of all time. Have loved them both since 1993.

Brad Catoe (44,754) by Jenny from South Africa
Hear hear. I totally agree. I'm just happy she gave me such an amazing album to listen to and thoroughly enjoy more and more each time I play it. I didn't become a fan of Mariah because she was so popular but because I connected with her music. And I connect with MIAMTEC so I'm happy.

Actually that tweet about quality time with dembabies had 4 pictures with it, the one with just Mariah, one of Monroe smiling, one of Roc in the bath, and one of the twins watching Enchanted. So I personally don't think it was a strange tweet at all. It was a very sweet set of pictures.

I agree with you about Jermaine. I think he's coming in for more than his fair share of criticism.

Thirsty (43,617) by Jenny from South Africa
I love this song. For me it was catchy from the first listen and it's just an adorable song. #Beautiful took a while to grow on me. I think it's a lot better than Migrate. To be honest, that's the only song I ever skip on E=MC2. Thirsty is such a fun catchy song. Love love love it.

Morrocan (43,440) by Jenny from South Africa
I'm glad Mimi pointed out that Morrocan was named after the room that Nick proposed to Mariah in and I'd like to add that Nick specifically said in an interview after the twins were born that he was the one that named Morrocan, not Mariah.

I completely agree with you. You said everything I've been thinking. Mariah is wonderful towards Kelly, Bey and Rihanna. And others as well like Jordin Sparks and Ciara. Even Brandy, Britney and Fantasia. And she's also always been great towards Whitney, Celine and Mary J Blige who are part of her generation. And how amazing was she with Candice from Idol? Who is a great singer. And she didn't diss Ariana in that interview anyway. She wished her well. Beyonce and Kelly Clarkson are amazing powerhouse singers and I would think if Mariah was going to feel threatened by anyone it would be them but she clearly adores them both. And you're right, neither of them rip off her sound even though she influenced them both and I also think that earned her respect more than the Leona Lewis and Ariana Grande type singers who do copy her style too much. I really don't think it's accurate to say Mariah doesn't acknowledge any younger female singers.

Gloves (41,601) by Jenny from South Africa
I'm not sure the gloves are a fashion statement. A lot of the times she only wears it on one hand and it's always the arm that got injured and she said in a interview that her arm is almost back to normal which implies there's still a little more healing to go. Maybe the glove is there as extra support or something. I know maybe that will sound far fetched but it's just an idea. Maybe I'm wrong and it is just a fashion statement lol.

Paul from the USA (41,346) by Jenny from South Africa
Hi Paul. Actually I think she still does her bit for charity. The whole private concert/heart chain is to raise money for charity. Dembabies.com raises money for the Fresh Air Fund if I'm not mistaken.

You're mine (41,311) by Jenny from South Africa
I'm really enjoying this song. It's very catchy and I love how her voice sounds. I even like the version with Trey and I wasn't expecting to.

Avatar (40,881) by Jenny from South Africa
Hi webmaster. I was trying to change my avatar but now for some reason when I click on My Info the avatar is just blank and each time I try to put a new pic I see it saying fake path. Do you know how I can fix it? If not it's okay. Thanks.

Calling people fanatics is also name calling and that light a candle part was clearly meant as an insult so I think the crux of your message which was actually a good message, kinda got lost in you're insulting other people yourself. And didn't you dismiss the opinions of the people who said she is busy with her family in your second message? Just my observations. Maybe I misinterpreted your messages. Anyway I see why some people don't enjoy her interviews, but personally I think she just has a playful personality.

Duet with Michael Buble (40,273) by Jenny from South Africa
This whole performance just made me smile and smile. It gave me goosebumps. They had good chemistry too. I hope one day they record a song together. I always wanted to see them sing together This was so amazing.

Celine (39,220) by Jenny from South Africa
I love Celine's new song too, Will and Stacey. Wow Lee from the USA, is it really necessary to say things like that about Celine? She is always complimentary towards Mariah and they happen to be friends. They are both incredible singers and artists. Celine does the Vegas shows so she has more time for her kids and so her kids can be settled in one city. They are both legends and have both earned respect over the last 20 years.

Ariana Grande (38,968) by Jenny from South Africa
I turned on the radio for my favourite local station and I heard one of the djs saying he thinks Ariana is just a Mariah wannabe. It made me smile. And he's unbiased when it comes to Mariah. He's not a major fan or a hater.

Favourite lead single (38,345) by Jenny from South Africa
It's a tie between Heartbreaker and Touch My Body. Such fun catchy songs and cute videos.

Glasses (38,236) by Jenny from South Africa
Ok, I didn't realize toddlers could need prescribed glasses. My bad, my bad. Thought that only starts happening around school age. But I did also say she always looks cute. I really haven't met any toddlers who need glasses, so clearly I was a little ignorant there lol. But I repeat I always think she looks adorable. And Roc too.

Monroe (38,228) by Jenny from South Africa
Suri's parents get criticized a lot, because she is dressed too adult with her high heels. Monroe is dressed appropriately for her age. The only thing that I would change is her wearing those glasses constantly. I'm sure she'll grow out of that phase eventually though. But she always looks cute in my opinion.

Will.i.am (38,192) by Jenny from South Africa
I'm so disappointed in Will.i.am. I didn't expect this from him. How can he compare a 20 year old to a 43 year old who's been singing so much since she was 18. It's such a joke. Maybe he's bitter the song he produced with Mariah never made it onto The Emancipation Of Mimi. The Black Eyed Peas aren't exactly the best sounding act when they perform live. I always cringe when I see them try. They sound great on radio and that's it. And his solo career hasn't exactly been some amazing success. I had such respect for him though, before this unnecessary comment. If he really wanted to say something, he could have phrased it in a more respectful manner. Mariah has earned respect after such a long and successful career.

Scott (38,111) by Jenny from South Africa
That's a tough question, because she has so many amazing ballads. For me, Without You is my ultimate favourite ballad-wise. But Everything Fades Away, Music Box and When I Saw You always give me goosebumps too. H.A.T.E.U is also a great one in my opinion. Oh and I love Forever too lol.

AI / tour (38,105) by Jenny from South Africa
So relieved she's leaving Idol. They didn't seem to be treating her with respect like they usually treat their judges. I really really hope she comes to South Africa, I hear #Beautiful on the radio every day and she's never performed here before so we are really long overdue a show. I will be so happy if she comes here.

Monroe (38,003) by Jenny from South Africa
I just adore the pic MC tweeted with Roe and the puppy. She is becoming such a beautiful child. Her hair with the ribbon is just too cute.

J.Lo (37,931) by Jenny from South Africa
The more annoying thing about it Lee, is that MC did actually stand up for her. That's what really bugs me here. She gave J.Lo a standing ovation and still gets accused of being rude and dissing her. She can't win. People will always make things up to attack her more. For some reason media and non-fans seem to really hate her as opposed to just not liking her music. I don't understand why people react so badly to her. Sigh. Even with how she shows a lot of skin in her videos. J.Lo, Beyonce Rihanna, the list is endless, but those people don't get attacked for their outfits the same way Mariah does. And those people all dance really sexy whereas with Mariah it's really mainly her dressing that is sexy. But anyway, I've given up trying to understand all the unfair media she gets.

Medley performance (37,895) by Jenny from South Africa
I really think it was quite good. I really don't think it was lipped. Maybe parts of #Beautiful seemed a little suspect. Mainly when the whistle notes started. But like Will said, the final whistle note was definitely live. Her older songs definitely were not lipped. I enjoyed the performance. And she looked beautiful and classy too.

Video and song (37,821) by Jenny from South Africa
The song is growing on me, but I'm not as in love with it as everyone else seems to be. I'm more with Dionne and John from USA on this. But it's not bad and I'm thrilled that the majority of people love it so much. I actually think the video is really cute and fun. The only parts that make me cringe are when they focus on her butt. I think that was going too far. But overall it's cute. I prefer Almost Home as a song, but I prefer the #Beautiful video. In Almost Home she was covered up but her movements seemed so awkward that I couldn't really enjoy it.
